섬진강유역 장시의 공간구성과 기능 특성에 관한 연구 -순창·곡성·구례·옥곡장시를 중심으로- (Spatial Construction and Functional Characteristics of Market Place in Seomjin River -Focused on Gokseong, Gurye, Soonchang, Okgok Market Place-)

  • This paper aims to clarify the spatial form and functional characteries of traditional market place in Seomjin river. The objects of this study are Gokseong, Gurye, Soonchang, and Okgok market place. The results are as follows. First, the form of the traditional market that it was open focusing on large open space of a village was maintained until now. Second, the spatial form of a market place surrounds market-shop located at the center of a market, and a permanent market-store is located in a line. Spatial element important for constituting a market place is three, market-shop, stall, and the mall of market place, and each spatial element is functioning in linkage. The unit space of market-shop is mainly determined by between pillars, and a store is opened. And the same type of industry adjoins, and market-shop's forms a fixed domain and is distributed. The stall is located with many kinds and forms at street mall, and it is taking charge of the important function of trade.

  • The traditional market has formed for itself through a long time thus has special value of the place. The tangible value of the traditional market is high, however, it became jeopardized to be dismantled since it can not cope with the consumption environment of modern society. Modern industrial society provides an inefficiently and standardized solution to the traditional market by ignoring the identity of place only by the value the traditional market in the law of large distribution industry. This study aims to define the placeness of Namdaemun traditional market by considering tangible value of place. The identity of the place was analyzed as a spatial configuration, space organization, and sense of place through the place's physical setting, activities, and meanings by Edward Ralph. Based on the analysis by Ralph, we analyzed the traditional market and compare to the department store, which is the representative of large scale distributor, using comparative method. We performed quantitative and integrative analysis for the placeness and provide a way to appraise the worth of the traditional market by deviating from the traditional evaluation method.

유통과정 및 판매시스템을 고려한 모시유통센타의 실내계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Design of Mosi Market Considering the Circulation Process and Merchandising System)

  • This study aims at alalyzing the circulation process, merchandising system of Mosi(Korean traditional garment material), and accessing the way of interior design of Mosi market. There are three kinds of garment material of Mosi such as Pilmosi, Gootmosi, Taemosi classified by manufacturing process. At Mosi market, these three materials are sold in due sequence. Mosi market needs three space zones such as Mosi market space, inspecting space of Mosi and resting place, and these three spaces have strong interrelationship, so designer should plan not to disterb the moving flow. In the Mosi market space there should be divided by three zones such as Pilmosi marketing place, Gootmosi marketing place, and Taemosi marketing place in due sequence. The furniture of Mosi market place divided two kinds such as furniture for Pilmosi and that of Gootmosi or Taemosi. The proper form of furniture for Pilmosi is circular arc bar counter and that for Gootmosi or Taemosi is low rectangular table.

  • 본 논문은 재구성가능생산시스템 환경에서 e-MarketPlace를 통한 거래상황을 도입한 주기적 검토 재고모형을 연구한다. 의사결정권자는 고객의 확률적 수요를 만족시키기 위해서 생산용량/생산량을 확장/축소하거나 e-Marketplace를 통해 긴급으로 재고를 보충/처리한다. e-MarketPlace로부터의 거래 시 재고의 보충/처리에 걸리는 리드타임은 시스템의 생산리드타임보다 짧지만, 단위거래비용(구매/판매비용)은 생산용량/생산량을 한 단위 확장/축소하는 비용보다 높기 때문에 각 대안들의 비용-리드타임간의 trade-off가 고려된다. 추가적으로 e-MarketPlace로부터 재고를 보충하거나 생산용량을 확장하는 경우 그 수량에 따른 규모의 경제를 고려하기 위해 고정 비용이 포함된다. 우리는 제안되는 모형의 최적 정책형태를 규정하기 위해 동적계획모형과 K-convexity 기법을 적용하고, base stock policy와 (s,S) type policy의 조합으로 구성된 최적 생산-재고관리 정책을 제시한다.

서울컬렉션 시장부합 요소와 시장지향에 관한 탐색적 연구 -컬렉션 참가자들을 중심으로- (An Exploratory Study for the Market of Seoul Collection -From the Collection Participant's Perspective-)

  • This study is to understand the current situation of the Seoul Collection and suggest market oriented strategies in order to establish a more effective fashion market. Three elements-time, form, and, place-were defined to analyse the dynamics of the collection and two factors-customer/competitor oriented information and information interaction among participants-were employed to evaluate the Seoul collection toward market orientation. The data were collected from the collection participants via an in-depth interview. The identified major market factors were: 1. Time-In order to create a desirable market, the opening time of the Seoul Collection needs to be rescheduled in accordance with the openings of other countries. Also the time must be suitable to the buyer's movement. 2. Product-Products which did not meet the needs of the market and their unrealistically high prices were two main factors that hindered sales. 3. Place-Although the place was a vital factor to the success of the collection, the facility was not fully a suitable location for buyers to place orders. Additionally, the analyzed data indicated the low market-oriented Seoul collection. Vital to elevating the Seoul Collection to meet the global standard, therefore, more practical research and merchandise planning should be arranged in advance.

거주상인의 내부적 관점에서 본 재래시장 공간의 장소적 의미 -청량리시장과 황학동시장을 사례로- (Meanings of the Conventional Market Place Derived from the Merchant's Point of View -Based upon the Cases of Chungryangri and Hwanghakdong Market Place-)

  • Based upon the cases of two conventional market places of Seoul (Chungryangri and Hwanghakdong Market0, this study seeks, in mainly the insiders's view, to find out the micro meaning of conventional market places in the city. In-depth interviews for longer than six months were used to get life histories and daily life records from the merchants. From the result of the in-depth interviews, it was found that, for the insider's view, conventional markets are places where lower class people (or people who leave their farm lands for a city) easily settle down, as shoed in the two families' settlement history in the two conventional markets are very much similar to those in their home places. In conclusion, as represented in these two markets, conventional market places are not only the places that provides jobs to their merchants but also the places where the merchants' lives are continued, developed and reproduced. Based upon the both outsider's and insider's views, it is suggested that the recent modernization and redevelopment process to deal with conventional markets should change its direction and search for other solutions.

  • These days cities are in the stage of inter-competition and emboss the placeness which they have. The marketing is emphasized for urban regeneration in backward cities and the dominant position in the urban competition. This study focuses on the place marketing with potential factors which the places have. In addition, this study intends to research the marketing through showing centers and the method to commercialize the places with the factors to success, Planning-Group, Place Identity and Place Image, and Public-private Partnerships, in the case of the Dongdaemun Market. Finally, the study intends to show politic significance for preferable objects of place marketing for the network of the fashion-cluster, differentiation of the rapid productivity, the foreign information centers, the dongdaemun sewing association, and the merchant association as the consequence of comparable analysis.

  • For global electronic market, several market place standards are developing now. Though, a standard is different from others they are pursuing the same purpose of uniworld market. In this study, two standards(ebXML and UDDI) which are most strong enough to urge field engineers to consider the standards in making their products were focused. Additionally, the development priorities of ebXML which were viewed from field engineers were summarized. Finally, government actions required by field engineers to promote the development of global market place were summarized.

소도시 재래시장의 공간분석 - 충남 홍성읍 재래시장을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Space characteristics of Conventional Market in Small Town)

  • Activation of conventional market in small town is important in the reinvigoration of local economy as an economical center. The revitalization of local economy is closely related to the fosterage of conventional market. So the local government is trying to activate the market. However, the projects for the activation of conventional market are mostly centered on the modernization of facilities which is carried out at urban districts. Those facilities-centered plans, being carried out at urban district, lack the consideration of the peculiarities of rural districts and the regional conditions of the conventional market in small towns. And some projects for the modernization of facilities produce negative results. Especially the conventional market in small town shows a spatial structure of a five-day market and a market place and it was influenced by the spatial relationship between the permanent market and periodic market. So analyses on the spatial lay-out and form, store facilities, spatial distribution of types of business, spatial utilization on market place are needed to improve the physical environment of the conventional market. In this context, the study analyzed systematically the space of an old and lagged Hongseong conventional market located in central district of a small town. And It is expected that the results use as a basic data to establish effective space improvement plan for conventional market in small town.
