  • This study is to find countermeasures of facility space according to the development of new educational program and the opening of education market from the renewal of existing facilities. The renewal is consider as the worldwide trend for enhancing added value of the facilities in economic side of educational facilities as well as educational contents. This study selects six from 94 elementary schools in Kwangju-city to examine our educational conditions, understand using conditions and recognition of existing space and possibility of the recycle. The hypothesis that recognition of existing facility space in school may be varied according to physical conditions of children is made in four sides, six elements and two trends are extracted and then life pattern, size, sense of materials and cognition of three types of passage space are analyzed. Accordingly, this study obtains such results that passage space is life space having strong place concept and there is the possibility of renewal of existing school building facilities corresponding to multipurpose of school facilities.

Impacts of glycans attached to therapeutic glycoproteins (의약용 당단백질에 부가된 당사슬의 중요성)

  • High value-added therapeutic proteins have been leading the biologics industry and occupied major portion of the market. More than 60% of the currently available protein therapeutics are glycoproteins attached with glycans which play crucial roles for the protein folding, therapeutic efficacy, in vivo half-life and immunogenecity. This review introduces the process of glycosylation and the impacts of glycans in the aspects of therapeutics. The important glycan structures in therapeutic performances were also summarized focusing on three representative categories of glycoproteins, cytokines, therapeutic antibody and enzyme. Currently, mammalian expression systems such as Chinese hamster ovary cells are preferred for the production of therapeutic glycoproteins due to their ability to synthesize glycans having similar structures with human type glycans. However, recent advances of plant glycoengineering to overcome the limitation originating from different glycan structures will soon allow to develop more efficient and economic plant-based production systems for therapeutic glycoproteins.

  • 선진 전력시장에서는 오래전부터 전력부가서비스의 중요성을 깨닫고, 전력부가서비스와 전력부가서비스 지원을 위한 인프라에 관하여 다양한 연구와 시도가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 한편, 국내에서는 전력 부가서비스를 인식하고는 있지만 아직까지 이와 같은 연구와 개발이 활성화되지는 못하고 있다. 그러나 전력부가서비스는 전력시장의 변화가 만들어낸 결과물로써, 시간이 흐를수록 그 중요성은 더욱 증가할 것이다. 또한 전력부가서비스 시장은 아직까지 미개척 분야가 많은 블루오션이므로, 국내시장 및 아직까지 전력 부가서비스가 도입되지 못한 해외전력시장에도 진출할 수 있는 가능성을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 초기단계인 만큼 가능성과 위험이 공존하는 국내의 전력시장에서 성공적인 전력부가서비스를 개발하기 위해, 세계적인 전력시장의 변화와, 이 변화가 국내 전력시장에 미친 영향, 그리고 국내 시 장의 전력부가서비스 환경을 분석함으로써 국내 환경에 적합한 전력부가서비스 BM을 개발하고 이를 시스템으로 구축하는 방안에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • Entertainment industries have recently shown continuous growth as a potential high value-added market and are being acknowledged as the most promising high-efficiency industry. The following case study offers the understanding of the financial situation and the diversification of three management companies like SM entertainment, Yedang entertainment, and Sidus HQ. I analyzed through IR which is on homepage of each company, audit reports and some articles of news papers, etc. The results of this study will show that diversification of three companies are relatively stable and make efforts to expand their activities.

  • As the scale of telecommunication market extremely increases, the competition to attract consumers is being intensive among telecommunication companies. Domestic telecommunication companies try to attract consumers by better quality and service to enhance satisfaction. The scientific research to evaluate satisfaction factors and total contentment about telecommunication companies is necessary for enhancing competitiveness and added value. In this paper, we study and analyze the way to estimate the satisfaction by AHP and statistical method. Consumers will receive good quality products and service by using suggested method. Additionally, domestic telecommunication expects to ensure competitiveness globally.

  • 전력부가서비스는 전력 서비스 본질의 가치를 높이기 위한 수단으로, 전력 서비스를 제공하는 과정 중에 취득된 정보를 가공 및 활용하여 제품이나 서비스의 형태로 제공하는 것을 의미하며, IT기술의 발전에 힘입어 전력산업내의 블루오션 시장으로 성장하고 있다. 국내에서는 원격검침시스템 구축 이후 원격검침데이터를 이용한 부가서비스 시스템이 개발되어 여러 형태로 수용가에게 제공되고 있으며, 요금관련 서비스는 비교적 다양하게 제공되고 있으나 그 외의 분야에서는 아직까지 깊이있는 서비스로 발전하지 못하였다. 이는 그동안의 환경적 요인이나 정책 등의 여러 가지 이유에서 기인한 것으로 보여진다. 그러나, 최근에는 시장이 변화하고 이에 따른 표준 인프라스트럭쳐 구축에 대한 논의가 이루어지면서 전력부가서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 이에 대한 연구도 더욱 활발해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 이와 같은 국내 시장의 환경 변화와 전력부가서비스의 발전 현황, 선진 시장의 부가서비스 현황을 분석하고, 실제적인 수용가의 수요 조사 결과를 바탕으로 하여, 국내의 환경 하에서 전력부가서비스 모델의 선정과 구축이 성공적으로 이루어질 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Analysis of Chinese Vegetable Industry's International Competitiveness (중국 채소산업의 경쟁력 분석)

  • This study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the changing vegetable sector of Chinese agriculture and to analyse the competitiveness of Chinese vegetable production. China now produces more than 60% of the world's vegetable supply and that 150 million people are engaged in vegetable production, processing and marketing since the reform of vegetable industry structure started in the late 1980s. As a labour abundant industry, China also features more comparative advantages in the vegetable trade. Although China's vegetable exports still accounts for only 1% of total production, the 5 million tons of export in 2003 makes China one of the largest vegetable players in the international markets. When estimating competitiveness of China's vegetable industry, China's producers' prices for vegetables are founded to be only from 10%~40% of what they are in Korea, while most of China's vegetables have also strong competitiveness in quality. As China joined the WTO in 2001 and expects to increase market share in vegetable trade, the development strategy for Korea's vegetable industry are suggested as follows; 1) focusing on the technology for the growth of vegetable productivity, 2) developing the higher value added vegetable industry through processing, 3) expanding the exported area and leading vegetable varieties.

The Comparative study on Game Contents Costing by Single Game Element and Multi Game Elements (다중게임요소와 단일게임요소에 의한 게임콘텐츠 원가산정 방법에 관한 비교연구)

  • Last decade, IT industry in Korea has been developed greatly. The game industry as an international leader has given good value added to its country. Game industry is one of the speedy improved one and it showed over 20% of growth rate from 2002. Most distressings in Game industry, there are no established costing system in spite that there should be in emerging market. In 2004, Game Contents Costing Model using Mission and Event was developed and also the study of Game Elements weight was done in 2005. The cost of Game Contents can be calculated by GEP and its unit price. The study of Game Contents Sizing Model was done in 2005. The costing of Game Contents by single Game Element which represents software which is one of 3 Game Elements-plan, graphic and software-and it is counted by mission and event. If the software element only can not well represent Game Contents volume, we can include plan and graphic elements for Game Contents costing. And we can say above two methods as a costing model of Game Contents. In this paper, these models were tested empirically and proved as usable.

  • Global economy these days is characterized with an unlimited competition due to Globalization and Information Age. Expansion of E-business accelerates informationized and globalized society and also intensifies market competition. As a result, global economy gradually develops to knowledge-based economy, and Business Service Industry becomes essential to the production increase in the manufacturing industry as well as its high added value comes into the spotlight as one of rapidly growing business industry. Business Service Industry has not yet been academically established, however, it may be defined as the industry of which production is a mediating service in the production process rather than in the final consumption. The export of the manufacturing industry has traditionally played mainstream role in Korea where economic development has been centered on the manufacturing export. However, as with increasing emphasis on the role of service sector and highly developed industrial field in the national economy, not only the relationships between manufacturing industry and service industry becomes rapidly more involved, but also the importance of highly competitive service industry becomes emphasized in accordance with open global economy after WTO system takes off. Now it is time we come to the realization that service is in the center of national competitive power as a result of global door open in all service industry.

South Korea as a Global Sourcing Site for Textile and Apparel Produce (글로벌 소싱 기지로서의 한국 섬유.의류산업의 현황)

  • Korea is facing great threat from other countries as a major global sourcing site for textile and apparel products. The threat has been augmented by changes in external environment such as advents of Trading Blocs and Free Trade Area(FTA) as well as internal environment such as hikes in labor cost and lack of flexibility in accommodating international buyers' needs. This study analyzed international buyers' sourcing activities in Korea for the purpose of developing strategies to enhance competitiveness of the Korean textile and apparel industries in the global market. The data used in this study were gathered by surveying 52 non-Korean textile and apparel product buyers with cooperation of the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI). The data were analyzed by mean, frequency, Pearson correlation coefficient, and x$^2$ analysis. The results indicated that Korea is still attractive to many international buyers especially to those who have been engaged in global sourcing for longer periods of time with bigger purchasing budgets. However, in order to expand and solidify their customer bases, Korean companies should focus more on developing competitively priced value added products a step ahead of their foreign competitors, diversifying their marketing channels including internet.
