Strategies for Deriving Strategic Products to Enter the Dementia Industry on SMEs-Focused on AHP Analysis

  • Many SMEs are interested in entering the dementia industry as the national dementia responsibility system begins in earnest. However, it is ambiguous about which technology and field to enter, and accordingly, it is impossible to make a quick judgment and misses the time to enter the market. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a simple but clear information to many SMEs in this situation, which products and related technologies will be able to help product development and market entry in the dementia prevention and diagnosis technology market more easily. In this regard, I would like to suggest the direction through hierarchical analysis (AHP) through conducting with a group of experts who can make professional judgments about the development of dementia medical technology, including the four-year university senior welfare department, nurses, directors and directors of long-term care institutions, medical device workers and experts' opinions on what sectors SMEs can most effectively apply to product development to enter the dementia market.

  • The demise of the native franchise markets and the emergence of competitive markets in electricity generation service is substantially altering the way that operation and planning activity is conducted and is making it increasingly difficult for market participants such as generation firms to prospect the future electricity markets. Traditional generation expansion planning (GEP) problems which centrally determine the least-cost capacity addition plan that meets forecasted demand within pre-specified reliability criteria over a planning horizon (typically 10 to 20 years) is becoming no more valid in competitive market environments. Therefore, it requires to develop a new methodology for generation investments, which is applicable to the changed electric industry business environments and is able to address the post-privatization situation where individual generation firms seek to maximize their return on generation investments against uncertain market revenues. This paper formulates a new generation expansion planning problem and solve it in a market-oriented manner.

고등어 외해가두리양식의 경제성 분석 (An Economic Feasibility Study of Mackerel Offshore Aquaculture Production System)

  • This study aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production performance in Jeju region, Korea. Based on the collected biological, costs and market price data, farming revenue and expenses during the farming period were evaluated, and the net present value and the internal rate of return of a 10-year cash inflow and cash outflow were estimated to determine the economic feasibility of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production system. Model results indicated that the Mackerel offshore aquaculture production performance would have high profitability under the current production and market situation. This is because of the relatively high survival rate, relatively low feed conversion ratio and good market prices. However, sensitivity analyses of main important biological and economic variables showed that the economic viability of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production system would be highly vulnerable to production and market condition changes.

  • Many foreign enterprises have begun to pay attention to China market recently, and enter this big market successively. Thus, it is very essential and valuable to understand China internet market well, especially the internet shopping mall market, and to find out the best strategy to build the internet shopping mall in China. The purpose of this comparative study is; (a) to compare with college students consumer's attitude and intention to use internet shopping, (b) to understand the use status of China internet shopping and the purchase situation of Chinese consumer, (c) basing on existing research, to master consumers' consideration items while making the purchase decision, and also master the advantages and disadvantages of internet shopping which consumers realized.

A Comparative Study on the Adoption of Mobile Devices

  • The global market for mobile phone business is already matured. Accordingly, the repurchasing issue for the mobile phone is being weighted drastically by the marketers. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationships among seven crucial factors, and also examines the differences between Korean and Indonesian markets concerning the relationships of these key success factors. This research classifies these two markets as a matured market and an emerging market respectively. The structural model is tested with the data from each of the sub-samples. The analysis of the multi-group structural equation model (MSEM) showed that compared to Korean, Indonesian had more emphasized on extra-functions for the mobile phone as well as giving more influence on satisfaction from brand image. Due to the different market situation and users, the lessons to which product features must be more emphasized could be obtained for the product managers in the industry.

불완전시장 하에서의 옵션가격의 결정 (Valuation of Options in Incomplete Markets)

  • The purpose of this paper is studying the valuation of option prices in Incomplete markets. A market is said to be incomplete if the given traded assets are insufficient to hedge a contingent claim. This situation occurs, for example, when the underlying stock process follows jump-diffusion processes. Due to the jump part, it is impossible to construct a hedging portfolio with stocks and riskless assets. Contrary to the case of a complete market in which only one equivalent martingale measure exists, there are infinite numbers of equivalent martingale measures in an incomplete market. Our research here is focusing on risk minimizing hedging strategy and its associated minimal martingale measure under the jump-diffusion processes. Based on this risk minimizing hedging strategy, we characterize the dynamics of a risky asset and derive the valuation formula for an option price. The main contribution of this paper is to obtain an analytical formula for a European option price under the jump-diffusion processes using the minimal martingale measure.

  • Many corporations will get much mote benefits if they investigate the model deciding to purchasing mobile phone in that cell phone of our country has about 20% of market share in the world market. Considering this situation to divide cell phone market between CDMA and GSM in world market, it is not easy to make cell phone to satisfy the suitable method which each country wants. Through this study, we anticipate that it will offer the measuring method about consumer purchasing decision of each country. The research is to study how it is Effected by any factor when comsumer selects product and make research model. Based on the research model, we is to make a question. The research Is to complete the theoretical system on the basis of records about the cell phone and to study the improvement strategic using AHP and Conjoint Analysis which analyzes the consuming trend to customer's cell phone.

태양광 수직통합화가 사업가치에 미치는 영향: 효율성 및 유연성 (Vertical Integration of Solar business and its Value Analysis: Efficiency or Flexibility)

  • Why solar companies preferred vertical integration of whole value chain? Major solar companies have built internally strong vertical integration of entire PV value chain. We raise a question whether such integration increases the corporate value and whether market situation affects the result. To test these questions, we conducted multi-variant analysis where characteristic factors mainly affect the corporate value measured in terms of Tobin'Q, based on the financial and non-financial data of PV companies listed in US stock market between 2005 and 2010. We hypothesize that since integration increases the overall efficiency but decreases the flexibility to adjust to various market situation, the combined effect of the efficiency gain and the flexibility loss ultimately determines the sign of integration effect on the corporate vale. We infer that the combined effect will be influenced heavily by business cycle, as in boom market (Seller's market) the efficiency gain may be larger than the flexibility loss and vice versa in bust market. We test whether the sign of combined effect changes after the year of 2009 and which factors influence most the sign. Year of 2009 is known as the year when market shifted from Seller's to Buyer's market. We show that 1) integration increases corporate value in general but after 2009 integration significantly decreases the value, 2) the ratios such as Production/Total Cost, Cash turnover period chosen for reversal of the flexibility measure are negatively affect Tobin's Q and especially stronger after 2009. This shows the flexibility improves corporate value and stronger in the recess period (Buyer's market). These results imply that solar company should set up integration strategy considering the tradeoff between efficiency and flexibility and the impact of the business cycle on both factors. Strategy only based on the price competitiveness determined in boom time can bring undesirable outcomes to the company. In addition, Strategic alliances in some value chains as a flexible bondage should be taken in account as complementary choice to the rigid integration.

고령화 사회와 노동시장 (Aging Society and Labor Market)

  • 한국에서의 고령화는 아직 걱정할 단계는 아니지만 고령화의 속도가 지나치게 빠르게 진행된다는데 문제가 있다. 인구의 절대규모는 2030년의 52,160 천명에서 정점을 이루다가 감소하여 2050년에는 2005년 수준인 48,121천명으로 감소하며, 핵심근로계층인 25-54세의 인구는 저출산과 고령화로 인하여 이미 2012년부터 감소하는 것으로 예측되었다. 고령화는 불가피하게 노동력의 부족을 초래하게 되며, 이는 한 번도 경험해보지 못한 상황에서 정책 수단들을 세워나가야 한다. 본 논문에서는 몇 가지의 대안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 인구규모 자체의 감소를 예방하기 위한 것으로 국가 지원의 보육체계를 포함하는 출산장려정책을 제시하였으며, 둘째, 노동력 절대규모의 감소라는 현실적 상황에서 고용률로 측정된 노동시장의 참여를 증대시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 정년 연장형의 임금피크제를 포함하는 고령자 및 출산의 기회비용을 낮추어 여성의 노동시장 참여를 촉진하는 방안을 제시하였다. 결론적으로 고령화는 피할 수 없는 상황이며, 지속가능한 균형성장이라는 틀에서 문제해결에 접근해야 한다.

  • This study is to analyse marketing and industrial structure of meat processing industry and to examine it's current situation related to agriculture. For this purpose 1. This paper surveys the history of meat processing industry, and analyses current situation of meat processing industry, based upon economic statistic data. 2. For the research of marketing structure of meat processing products, this paper not only ciassifies into three catagories; the supply of raw meat, main marketing organization, and path, but measures magnitude of Marketing Bill and Farmer's Share practically through statistic data and an on-the-spot survey. 3. This study also attempt to explain the relation of meat processing industry and the other industry and role of meat processing industry is Korean economy by the use of input-output table. The results of the study are as follows; 1. The meat processing industry in Korea produces low quality, and expensive raw meat with limited quality, inefficiency of marketing structure, and unrelated livestock and meat processing industry. 2. Korea market structure of meat processing products has been changed into oligopoly from monopoly by a new corporation entered into monopoly and the size of meat processing market firms has been normalized. 3. Meat processing industry is very important considering with its high back-linkage-effect. In order to develop meat processing industry and marketing, it is essential that operation of intergrated meat market center, meat market center should be efficiently operated. The efficient utilization of domestic resource for raw meat and development of processing technique have to be required, by means of the governmental support.
