Purpose This study suggests the development of forecasting model for local cable TV advertisement. In order to verify the expected effect of the suggestion, using the causal loop map of System Dynamics, the factors affecting the prospects of cable TV commercial market were divided into 5 groups. Then targeting 97 people involved in the cable TV commercial market in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, a survey was conducted on their perception of the current status of local advertisement market and future prospect. Design/methodology/approach The analysis of the collected data shows that workers in advertising and advertisers perceive the influence of cable TV as an advertising media to be high, while clearly understanding the problems of cable TV commercial market. Based on this the effects on the prospects of cable TV commercial market were analyzed and a forecasting method called Weighted Moving Average was applied. In order to improve accuracy of the added value of Weighted Moving Average, the 5 factors were divided into qualitative factors and quantitative factors, and using Multi-attribute Decision Making method, all the factors were normalized and weighting factors were deduced. The result of simulating the prospects of cable TV commercial market using Weighted Moving Average, both qualitative and quantitative factors showed downward turn in the market prospect for the following 10 years. Findings The result reflects generally negative perception of advertisement viewers about the prospects of cable TV commercial market. Compared to the previous studies on domestic cable TV commercials that focused on policy suggestions and surveys on perception of current status, this study has its significance in that it used scientific method and simulation for verification.

Seawater desalination has vest interest in terms of ultimate water resources for the countries suffering lack of water supply. Water demand is steadily increasing due to the population growth and industrialization in Asia. The objectives of this study are to prospect the desalination market in Asia countries including China, India and Singapore, and to propose possible strategies of getting through Asia water market. Water supply in China is increasing up to $5,322,060m^3$/d in 2015. Northeast coastal areas such as Tianjin, Shandong, Hubei, and Liaoning are expected rapid increase for water demand. The investment of water supply in India would be 1.74 billion dollars during 2006 to 2015. Chennai, Kutch, and Pondicherry have possibility in introducing seawater desalination plants. Singapore is focusing on water reuse, and operating three NEWater plants (water reuse plants). BOT with total solution providing financing, construction, operation etc. is an adequate strategy to getting through China water market, while desalination plant project connecting with power plant is desirable in India. The cooperative system with Korea and Singapore creates synergy effect regarding planning and operating experience of Singapore and EPC ability of Korea.

In the mobile communication service market, this study represents an attempt to forecast the subscribers of the IMT-2000 service market using the questionnaire of experts which is the qualitative technique is used. In this study, by using the substitution model of next generations among products in order to analyze the IMT-2000 demand of service, a demand was predicted. And by estimating the market demand prospect in which it becomes the important factor of the IMT-2000 service diffusion according to each bandwidth frequency the politically necessary approaching direction about the frequency was presented. It will be able to become the important part to not only the business carrier but also the policy maker to examine a prospect toward the subscriber of the IMT-2000 service. As a result, the market demand was exposed to be most big when the SKT 800MHz, and the KTF 800(900)MHz were used as the additional frequency. And it was likely to reach to the IMT-2000 number of subscribers to about 35.750 thousand peoples in the future at 2015.

Environments of electric power industries are fastly changing due to the WTO, opening of the capital market and free trade. Accordingly, it is very important to invest in technical developments for securing international competitive power. But our construction techniques in T/L are insufficient in comparing with the advanced countries. This paper suggests the status and prospect of construction techniques of domestic and foreign countries in T/L, including developing prospects of T/L constriction.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is aimed to examine the Free Trade Agreement and its General Agreement on Trade in Services, especially, the healthcare service and the prospect of the system. Methods: This study was based on fourteen literature reviews from 2001 to 2014. Results: Free Trade Agreement and the General Agreement on Trade in Services were examined and Japan, China, and the United States's examples were shown. Healthcare market opening issues are the tendency of this era with the concept of globalization. Conclusion: This study highlights the tendency of healthcare market opening with all the pros and cons. The healthcare system along with the medical and nursing fields need to modify their system based on the globalization.

Conversion of light energy to electrical energy by using a solar cell has long been considered as one of the option for an electrical energy supply in the future. In the past, commercial use was restricted largely to remote area applications where conventional electricity is expensive. Recently, the major application of the solar cells changed to become generation of residential electricity in urban areas where the electricity is already supplied by the conventional grid. This paper covers the current market and technology status of the solar cells and future prospect of their terrestrial applications. Reviewing market trend, this paper discusses high efficiency approach in silicon solar cells, low cost approach in silicon solar cells and finally covers future prospects of silicon solar cells.
