This report represents analysis of the maritime casualty in terms of Bridge Resource Management. We evaluate the attitudes and knowledge of bridge officer regarding human factors issues that have been identified as causal to mishaps in high-risk situations. So to reduce human errors our goal is to establish effective officer resource management (ORM) program which is based on all subjects for cadets in IMO model course. In harmonization with STCW(The International Convention on Standards of training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers), as the result, the curriculumss in the maritime education institutions is surveyed to improve our education system and then reduce the human errors by mariners at sea.

Saigon Port within the port system of the Vietnam Maritime sector is one of the port having highest throughput and productivity in the country. The marine traffic of Saigon water ways is the heaviest in Vietnam and the number of marine accidents in this area are much higher than the others area in Vietnam. In order to reduce the risk of the accident in Saigon fairway, this paper concentrates on marine accident frequency in this area. The marine traffic and the marine accident were analyzed to find out the probability of vessel collision and the marine traffic risk. It follows that the main shipping route through Saigon fairway has the high risk of ship-ship collision.

As the importance of maritime communication in a cross-cultural onboard working environment grows, the importance of developing systematic supporting aids both for learning and teaching maritime English has been emphasized. Given that English communication proficiency is one of the most critical factors in determining a seafarer's competency, a systemic supporting system for enhancing maritime English communication capabilities is essential not only for them to professionally carry out and conduct assigned duties onboard, but also for them to navigate success in their lives through increased labour mobility both at sea and onshore. The APEC Seafarers Excellence Network initiates the production of Maritime English Communication Packages for seafarers in APEC regions, under the leadership of the Republic of Korea. This paper introduces the design of APEC SEN Maritime English Communication Packages, which include textbooks, audio-lingual materials, online/mobile life-long learning platform and testing aids, ultimately for upand re-skilling of seafarers to increase their employability, mobility and preparedness for the future shipping industry where globalisation is expected to further accelerate.

In Korea Maritime University facilities, environment, education and awareness about the Green Campus has been studied in the field. Based on this, domestic and foreign universities and the benchmarking of the environmental characteristics of our university campus environment, the composition of the plan were considered. In this study, based on what our universities have links with the community on what was discussed a lot about. In our university campus tour aimed at young people plan green, and sustainable management measures have been studied.

본 연구에서는 요트 산업을 목포시에 적용하기 위하여 목포 시민들을 대상으로 설문 조사하고 시민들의 의식을 분석하였다. 특히 요트 산업 적용에 에 필요한 해양관광, 관광객 확보 방안, 요트산업, 마리나 시설의 위치 등에 관하여 설문하고 그 결과들을 분석하여 마리나입지 선정에 반영하였다.
