해양파 관측자료에 기반한 유의파고 추정에 관한 고찰 (A study on the Estimation of Significant Wave Height based on Ocean Wave Observation Data)

  • 종래의 연안역의 활용을 위한 개발사업 뿐만 아니라 최근에는 해양레저스포츠 및 해양에너지의 개발 등을 통해 해양활용에 관한 다변화된 수요가 증가하고 있다. 안전하고 경제적인 해양의 활용을 위해 파랑특성의 파악은 매우 중요하다. 관측파랑데이터를 활용하여 종래의 연구들에서 제안된 불규칙한 해상상태를 대표하기 위한 파랑변수들을 도출하고 이들의 관계를 검토함으로서 실제 해양파의 특성을 확인하고자 한다.

표준.일정변형률속도 압밀시험을 이용한 해성점토.화강암질 풍화토의 압밀특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Consolidation Characteristics of remolding Marine Clay and Weathered Granite Soil by SCT and CRSC)

  • 재성형된 해성점토 시료를 연직·수평방향으로 채취하여 표준압밀시험(SCT)과 일정변형률속도 압밀시험(CRSC)을 실시하여 연약 해성점토지반에 대한 압밀정수들의 구성관계를 확인하였다. 또한, 불교란 교란 화강암질 풍화토의 표준·일정변형률속도 압밀시험을 통하여 화강암질 풍화토에 대한 압밀 정수들의 특성과 적용성을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 해성점토 시료의 연직·수평방향과 표준·일정변형률속도압밀시험 방법에 따라 선행압밀응력, 압축지수, 과잉간극수압, 간극수압비 등이 달리 산정됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 불교란·교란 화강암질 풍화토 시료에서도 해성점토와 유사하게 과압밑·정규압밀 구간에서 압밀정수들의 변화를 확인하였다.

해양범죄예방을 위한 언론보도의 개선방안 (Improvement of the Media Coverage for Marine Crime Prevention)

  • The media is an effective means of preventing crime. It can be known to members of the media presiding over the most widely and rapidly. Because of this, the mass media is a good way to prevent such crime. Related to general crime, marine crime will have unique characteristics and about Crimes reported by the media, it is also true. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, it is required that the more accurate present article must be published and reported. Secondly, for more accurate presentation of measure, there is a need to enhance professional training for reporters. Thirdly, the marine weather report is the most important political purpose of considering marine crime prevention. Forthly, marine crime is likely to be a lack of evidence. Therefore, in order to supplement the lack of evidence maritime security agency should be utilized for a news source.qualification Fifthly, the need for regular inspection of the articles is requested. Sixthly, for judicial control maintenance of the media related laws should be strengthened. Finally, the arbitration institution for media rights should be established under the Korea Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport. This is practical action for marine crime prevention.

수산.해운 전문계열 교사의 직무수행 영역에 관한 연구 (A Study on Duty Performance area of Fisheries & Shipping Business High School Teachers)

  • This study referred to relevant literatures, collected professional advice, created the sphere of duty with considering the characteristics of marine products-marine transportation education and teachers' specialty, and researched the feasibility of duty sphere classified from 2nd of September in 2008 to 20th of October in 2008 by selecting 80 professional teachers at random teachers who were working in 4 schools that had local 1. As the result of this study, it is proper to classify the sphere of marine products-marine transportation professional teachers into teaching-learning sphere, actual training guidance sphere, life guidance sphere, class management sphere, administrative performance sphere, specialty extension sphere, academic-industrial cooperation and community connection sphere. 2. For the contents of each sphere of marine products-marine transportation teachers' duty, it is proper to systematize teaching-learning field with 32 contents of duty, actual training guidance field with 21 contents of duty, life guidance sphere with 18 contents of duty, class management sphere with 12 contents of duty, administrative performance sphere with 18 contents of duty, specialty extension sphere with 15 contents of duty, academic-industrial cooperation and community connection sphere with 9 contents of duty respectively.

Bacterial Diversity of Culturable Isolates from Seawater and a Marine Coral, Plexauridae sp., near Mun-Sum, Cheju-Island

  • Fifty-eight strains showing different colony morphological characteristics on various media were isolated from marine coral (Plexauridae sp.) and ambient seawater near Mun-Sum, Cheju-Island in 1998. Bacterial diversity was studies by phylogenetic analysis of the partial 16S rRNA gene sequences. All isolates representing the bacterial domain included affiliates of the high G+C (59%) and los G+C (3%) subdivision of Gram positive bacteria, and the alpha (33%) and gamma (5%) subdivision of the Proteobacteria. The 16S rDNA sequence similarity of the isolates was in the 88.3 to 100% range (average, 95.6%) to reported sequence data. In the comparison of the isolates from marine coarl and ambient seawater, more diverse groups belonging to ${\alpha}$-Proteobacteria were preferentially obtained from seawater.

소형 공조용 증발기의 특성 해석 (Analysis of Characteristics on Small Air-Conditioning Type Evaporator)

  • When investigating optimum design of the evaporator in the refrigeration and heat pump systems, there is still lack of data for the dynamic characteristics of the evaporator, This is due to the fact that the static characteristics in the evaporator are absolutely difficult to measure and are burdened with uncertainties. In this study, the simulation works for static characteristics in the evaporator of small air conditioner are carried out to obtain the data of dynamic characteristics. In the simulation, the test evaporator is divided by two-phase evaporating region and single-phase heating region. The major parameters are refrigerant flow rate, heat transfer coefficient of air, air velocity and air temperature. The results show that the calculation method for tube length is an easy-to-use to model analysis of static characteristics and to determine state of refrigerant in the evaporator. The effects of the four parameters on the length of evaporating completed point and heat flow rate to the evaporator are clarified.

청소년의 휴대전화 의존도 및 이용 목적에 따른 심리적 특성 (The Difference of Psychological Characteristics According to Cell Phone Dependency and Use Purpose in Cell Phone Users of Adolescences)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in psychological characteristics according to cell phone dependency and use purpose in cell phone users of adolescences. Psychological characteristics of adolescents were consisted of attention aggression, somatic symptoms, social withdrawal, depression variables. The subjects were 2,158 cell phone owned second graders of middle school. A data of the Korean Child-Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) was employed for the this study. Dependency and use purpose of cell phone were classified by cluster analysis into four groups with similar characteristics : 'high dependency-multipurpose', 'low dependency-social', 'low dependency-unsocial' 'middle dependency-peer interaction' groups. Major findings were that: the group differences in psychological characteristics were statistically significant. The 'low dependency-social' group showed highest on adjustments, and the other groups were maladaptive. Finally, implications for future research were discussed.

  • The Wells turbine has hysteresis characteristics in a reciprocating flow. In this paper, in order to understand unsteady flow characteristics of the Wells turbine, a sinusoidal flow condition is simulated. The flow conditions and hysteresis characteristics, including blade thickness, are investigated over a period of time. The pressure distributions along the blade surface are investigated at mid-span to clarify the cause of the hysteresis. The result has shown that the hysteresis characteristics become more pronounced as blade thickness becomes larger. The occurrence of these characteristics depends on the varying behavior of wakes between an accelerating flow and a develerating flow.

가다랑어 및 황다랑어 알의 식품성분 특성 (Food Component Characteristics of Skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) and Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares) Roes)

  • For the effective utilization of tuna processing byproducts such as roes of skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) and yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacores) as a food resource, the roes of skipjack and yellowfin tuna were examined on food component characteristics and also compared to those of Alaska pollack (Theragra chalcogramma). The concentrations of heavy metal in both roe of the skipjack and yellowfin tuna were below the reported safety limits, therefore, these roes appeared to be safe as a raw material for food resource. The contents of crude protein were 21.4% in the skipjack tuna roe and 21.5% in the yellow fin tuna roe, which showed to be the major component in tuna roes. The prominent amino acids of total amino acids were aspartic acid, glutamic acid, leucine and lysine, and these amino acids were comprise to be 38.4-41.2% of total amino acid in both tuna roes. The total lipid content were 2.1 % in the skipjack tuna roe and 2.0% in the yellofin tuna roe. The major component of total lipid was found to be triglyceride in both tuna roes (skipjack tuna roe, 93.3%; yellow fin tuna roe, 92.0%), which was high in the compositions of 16:0, l8:1n-9, and 22:6n-3. The content of DHA in total lipid of the tuna roes (skipjack tuna roe, 29.9%; yellowfin tuna roe, 36.3%) were higher than that of Alaska pollack roe (18.1%). Based on the results of the proximate composition, mineral, amino acid and lipid characteristic, roes of skipjack tuna and yellowfin tuna showed potential as a raw material for food.

음향 자료를 이용한 하계 여수 바다목장 해역에서 어군의 시·공간 분포와 특징 (The Characteristics and Spatio-temporal Distribution of Fish Schools during Summer in the Marine Ranching Area (MRA) of Yeosu using Acoustic Data)

  • This study assessed dominant fish species, and the characteristics and spatio-temporal distribution of fish schools using acoustic and catch data in the marine ranching area (MRA) of Yeosu in July and August 2013. Acoustic data were collected using a 200-kHz dual beam transducer, and catch data were analyzed through auction data generated by a set net installed in the MRA. More fish schools were detected by acoustic methods in July than in August. The temporal distribution of fish schools differed between July and August, but, many schools demonstrated a high mean volume scattering strength (SV) around artificial reefs. Additionally, the characteristics of fish schools detected by echograms and the species caught by set nets differed between July and August. The dominant fish species were Engraulis japonicus, Pampus argenteus, Scomberomorus niphonius, and Pampus echinogaster in July, and approximately 85% of the catch in August consisted of Scomberomorus niphonius. Therefore, hydro-acoustic tools are useful for estimating fish school characteristics in large areas over a short period. To determine species, it is important to conduct net sampling surveys during the acoustic surveys. However, if a database of fish school characteristics organized by species is constructed through continuous study, it could be possible to identify fish species through acoustic methods alone.
