As the participation in marine sports activities has increased according to the increased national income, changes in lifestyle, etc., this study explored various values and possibilities towards a sport for all, which are inherent in marine sports, through the literature research with respect to leisure activities, sport for all, and marine sports. As a result of study, marine sports include the functional values, such as leisure satisfaction and welfare function, as a tool to improve the quality of life, which the sport for all may have, and not only have a positive impact on individual lives, but further, can also contribute to raising the level of social well-being. Marine sports are directly experienced physical activities utilizing nature and importantly functioning in human beings' understanding nature; especially, it could be found that they have the high emotion-educational value which could make the right personality formed for the adolescents in modern society, whose unrealistic leisure activities account for the most part of their leisure time. These results suggest that marine sports contain sufficient positive values and possibilities as a sport for all, and the value as a sport for all could be realized which marine sports may have through active participation.

This study analyzes the operating conditions of domestic marinas in response to changes in coastal and marine leisure trends and demand for recreational boats, and suggests ways to improve services according to the types and functions of marinas. In order to popularize marine leisure and to foster coastal and marine tourism industry, the 'Act on the Development, Management, etc. of Marinas' was enacted in 2009 and 'The 1st Marina Basic Plan' was established, and more than 34 marinas are operated nationwide. In order for domestic marinas to be used as an infrastructure for marine leisure activities, measures for enhancing service functions should be prepared in accordance with the size and characteristics of marinas.

In this paper, we tackled the marine leisure business of the archipelago at the southwest sea area which has the natural advantage for marine leisure. We also discuss how to adapt the yacht business on the above area. At first, we will introduce the predominant case on the marine leisure business of the overseas. Next we will analyze the current situation of the domestic marine leisure and draw up a plan to solve its problem. Finally we apply an environment friendly marina establishment to the archipelago at the southwest sea area and evaluate its validity.

The purpose of the study is to explore leisure time use of older adults and find out relationships between active/passive leisure activities and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to prepare later life for homo hundred. The subjects were 336 adults aged 50 and over in Busan city, Korea. Results are as follows. First, the subjects spent more time in active leisure than passive. But ratio of passive leisure time is getting higher with age. Second, cognitive activities changed from reading, computing, internet to hobbies, card games with age. Third, participation of active leisure activities are related to age and socioeconomic backgrounds. From this study, lifelong education including leisure education should support older adults to redesign their later life for homo hundred. Second, leisure education should focus on increasing the ability of accepting and utilizing leisure opportunities for older adults. Third, the role of lifelong educator should be emphasized to involve education field more actively. Forth, lifelong education institutions should have the knowledge of the purposes and motivations of older adults who participate in order to provide proper programs continuously. The connection between lifelong education and leisure time use and activities would lead later life with the quality of life and active aging.

This paper deals with the development of structural test facility for the strength assessment of marine leisure boat built from carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) materials. The structural test facility consists of test jig, load application and control system, and data acquisition system. Test jig, and load application and control system are designed to accommodate various size and short span to depth ratios of single skin, top-hat stiffened and sandwich constructions in plated structural format such as square and rectangular shapes. A lateral pressure load, typical and important applied load condition to the plates of the hull structure for marine leisure boat, is simulated by employing a number of hydraulic cylinders operated automatically and manually. To examine and operate the structural test facility, five carbon/epoxy based FRP square plates having the test section area of $1m^2$, which are part of CFRP marine leisure boat hull, are prepared and they are subjected to monotonically increasing lateral pressure loads. In the test preparation, considering the symmetry of the plates geometry, various strain gauges and linear variable displacement transformer are used in conjunction with data acquisition system utilizing LabVIEW. From the test observation, the responses of the CFRP hull structure of marine leisure boat are understood by obtaining load to deflection and strain to load curves.

The motor boat which is the principal equipment of marine leisure depends heavily an imported motor boats in Korea But because the demand of marine leisure and motor boat increases, it is necessary to develope a cheap and safe domestic-manufactured motor boat. However the development of motor but for marine leisure is not performed at all in Korea in this paper, we consider the concept design of public motor but for marine leisure. The present status and possession prediction of leisure boat are investigated at first. And the benchmarking of the overseas motor bout for marine leisure is performed. And next the required performance, the range of principal dimension and the needed equipment of the public motor boat are investigated based on the benchmarking results of the overseas motor boat. Recently, the demand for marine leisure industry is rapidly increasing due to the five-day work week and the per capita income approaching US $ 30,000. In particular, the Republic of Korea is surrounded by the sea on three sides and is composed of 3,150 islands and coastline. As shipbuilding infrastructure is abundant and the government is expected to actively support policies as a new growth engine, leisure boat furniture industry is expected to grow rapidly along with leisure boat manufacturing. Therefore, in this paper, after understanding the leisure boat (yacht) and analyzing the requirements of yacht furniture, we proposed a beautiful yacht furniture design that is lightweight, durable and safe using a 120-foot super yacht that can best show the characteristics of yacht furniture using wood bending technology and color variation of woods.

The interest on the marine leisure sports is rapidly increasing with the advent of the five-day week and with increments of GNP. The self-governing bodies are trying to drag large investments into the marine leisures industry through international exhibitions and yacht rallies. Unfortunately, the demands in the domestic area don't increase differently from those demand patterns in the advanced countries. In this study, several suggestions for vitalizations on the marine leisure industry are made after surveying the recognition degree of the domestic people on the marine leisures and the current states of their spending on the marine leisures. As results, it has been shown that the policies based upon negative factors coming from negative understandings on the leisure activities should be largely revised. Further, it seems that the policies for the preparations of the laws and the regulations for the marine leisures as well as for the R&D policies should be taken systematically so that the infra structures are constructed while improving the negative understandings on the leisures. The fundamental databases investigated in this study will help the policy makers and the investors reduce the risks of the policy and the investments in the field of marine leisure sports.

This study was to describe the process on experiences of self-leading leisure activities and develop a substantive theory that explains lifestyle in middle-aged office workers. The participants were 12 persons who had participated in self-leading leisure activities. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and analyzed by grounded theory in Strauss and Corbin. Through analyzing process, 28 concepts, 14 subcategories, and seven categories were deduced. The periods of process were divided four stages, plateau, the phage of recognition in social duties, the phage of strengthen in competency, and the phage of reconstruct in successful lifestyle. The core category, 'disclosing of self-esteem' incorporated the relationship between and among all categories and explained the process. The findings indicate that self-leading leisure activities helped to their own health and developed their social activities. Therefore, we would consider in developing health promotion program about favoring leisure activities factors for the middle age office worker.

According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. We wish tc develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server (CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval component which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that. So, we wish to develop web retrieval agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.
