대형 부유식 파력-해상풍력 복합발전 구조물의 극한환경 운동 성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Dynamic Performance of Large Floating Wave-Offshore Hybrid Power Generation Platform in Extreme Conditions)

  • 본 연구에서는 대형 부유식 파력-해상풍력 복합발전 구조물의 극한환경 운동 성능에 관한 실험적 연구를 다루고 있다. 대형 부유식 복합발전 구조물에 대한 운동 성능을 평가하기 위하여 1/50 축척비의 모형을 제작하였다. 그리고 설계된 계류선의 사양에 부합하는 계류선 모형을 제작하였고 자유감쇠시험 및 static pull-out 시험을 통하여 검증하였다. 주어진 구조물의 수심을 만족하기 위하여 계류선 테이블을 도입하고 환경조건에 계류판에 따른 환경조건을 확인하였다. 모형시험에서 규칙파 중 운동응답을 확인하고 파랑, 조류, 바람의 복합환경 하중을 적용하여 극한환경 운동성능을 해석하였다. 최대 운동 및, 가속도를 계측하여 운동 안전성을 판단하였고 최대 변위와 계류 하중도 선급기준에 따라 판단하였다. 이로부터 복합발전 구조물의 운동 특성에 대하여 토의하였다.

Systematic comparisons among OpenFAST, Charm3D-FAST simulations and DeepCWind model test for 5 MW OC4 semisubmersible offshore wind turbine

  • Reliable prediction of the motion of FOWT (floating offshore wind turbine) and associated mooring line tension is important in both design and operation/monitoring processes. In the present study, a 5MW OC4 semisubmersible wind turbine is numerically modeled, simulated, and analyzed by the open-source numerical tool, OpenFAST and in-house numerical tool, Charm3D-FAST. Another commercial-level program FASTv8-OrcaFlex is also introduced for comparison for selected cases. The three simulation programs solve the same turbine-floater-mooring coupled dynamics in time domain while there exist minor differences in the details of the program. Both the motions and mooring-line tensions are calculated and compared with the DeepCWind 1/50 scale model-testing results. The system identification between the numerical and physical models is checked through the static-offset test and free-decay test. Then the system motions and mooring tensions are systematically compared among the simulated results and measured values. Reasonably good agreements between the simulation and measurement are demonstrated for (i) white-noise random waves, (ii) typical random waves, and (iii) typical random waves with steady wind. Based on the comparison between numerical results and experimental data, the relative importance and role of the differences in the numerical methodologies of those three programs can be observed and interpreted. These comparative-study results may provide a certain confidence level and some insight of potential variability in motion and tension predictions for future FOWT designs and applications.

한국연안의 해상교통류분석(I) (Macroscopic Analysis of Traffic Flow in the Korean Coastal Waterway)

  • Generally, the development of shipping is characterized by the amount of traffic flow (traffic volume) and seaborne cargo in the sea. Movement of ships is an essential element of constructing the traffic flow which is represented the dynamic movement of ships in the sea, but on the other band the numbers of arriving and departing the port is the basic factor consisting of the static movement of ships. The amount of cargoes by coastal vessels and ocean trade vessels have increased tremendously with the great growth of the Korean economy these days. This increase of the seaborne cargoes has made the Korean coastal traffic flow so congested that this can be a cause of large pollution as well as great marine casualities such as a loss of human lives and properties . And also the future coastal traffic is expected to increase considerably according to our economic development and high dependence upon foreign trade. Under the circumstance, to devise the safety of coastal traffic flow and to take a proper step of a efficient navigation, there is a necessity for analyzing and surveying the coastal traffic trend and the characteristics of cargo movement. In order to grasp the dynamic movement of ships in the Korean coast, O/D analysis is executed. This paper aims to secure the basic data necessary for a comprehensive plan and estimation of vessel traffic management system for the enhancement of safety, order and efficiency of vessel traffic in the Korean coast. The analyzed results of the traffic flow and seaborne cargoes of the Korean coast are summarized as follows : 1) The congestion by the vessels occurred around the ports such as-in proportion of ship's number (proportion of tonnage) -Incheon 18.5%(14.8%), Pohang 5.9% (9.9%), Samil 5.2%(8.3%), Mokpo 8.6%(0.8%), Pusan 13.5%(36.4%), Ulsan 9.1%(16.2%). 2) It is found that the area adjacent to Incheon, Pusan, Ulsan, Channel of Hanryu and South-western area are heavily congested. 3) It is confirmed thatthe area adjacent to Incheon, Pusan, Ulsan, Channel of Hanryu and South-western area are heavily congested. 3) It is confirmed that the coastal vessels are main elements constituting the coastal traffic and that there are much traffic flow among five ports as following through the precise O/D analysis of ship's coastal movement. Incheon-Samil, Ulsan, Pusan, Jeju Pusan -Samil, Ulsan, Incheon, Jeju Pohang -Samil, Inchoen, Jeju Pohang -Samil, Incheon, Jeju Ulsan -Samil, Incheon, Jeju Samil -Ulsan, Pusan, Incheon 4) The amount of cargoes to abroad are in proportion about 81% of total and the amount of coastal cargoes are about 19%. Of those, cargoes in and out to Japan are about 26% and to South-east Asia are about 27%. 5) The chief items of foreign cargoes are oil(38.33%), iron ore(13.98%), bituminoous coal(12.74%), grain(8.02%), lumber(6.45%) in the import cargoes and steel material(21.96%), cement(17.16%), oil(6.81%), fertilizer(3.80%) in the export cargoes. 6) The 80.5% of total export cargoes and 92.4% of total import cargoes are flowed in five main ports. 7) The chief items of coastal cargoes are oil (42.45%), cement(16.86%), steel material (6.49%), anthracite(6.31%), mineral product(4.3%), grain, and fertilizer. Almost 92.24% of total import and export oil cargoes in Korea is loaded and unloaded at the port of Samil & Ulsan.

국내 퇴적 지반의 전단파 속도 평가를 위한 탄성파 피에조콘 관입 시험의 종합적 활용 (Synthetic Application of Seismic Piezo-cone Penetration Test for Evaluating Shear Wave Velocity in Korean Soil Deposits)

  • 탄성파 피에조콘 관입 시험(Seismic Piezo-Cone Penetration Test, SCPTu)은 동적 및 정적 물성과 같은 지반의 공학적 특성 평가에 가장 유용한 조사 기법 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 국내 지반에 대한 실질적 활용 연구로서, 국내 대표적 퇴적 지층 발달 지역인 부산과 인천을 대상으로 각각 두 부지와 네 부지에서 SCPTu를 수행하였다. 현장에서 SCPTu로부터 획득한 파형 신호에 대해 교차법을 이용한 신호 판독을 실시하여 깊이별 전단파의 초기 도달 시점 및 그에 따른 깊이별 도달 시차를 결정하였다. 이를 토대로 Snell의 법칙에 근간한 굴절 전파 경로법을 이용하여 전단파 속도$(V_S)$의 깊이별 분포를 도출하였다. 결정된 깊이별 $V_S$ 분포를 콘 선단 저항력$(q_t)$과 비교해 본 결과, 깊이에 따른 두 값의 경향이 유사하게 나타났다. 일반적인 CPTu 자료의 지진공학적 활용을 목적으로 SCPTu로부터 측정된 결과를 토대로 $V_S$와 콘 관입 특성값의 상관관계를 분석 도출하였다. 다중 회귀 분석을 수행하여 전단파 속도와 콘 관입 특성값 중 네 가지의 독립변수인 콘 관입 저항력$(q_t)$, 주면 마찰력$(f_s)$, 유효상재응력$(\sigma'_{v0})$ 및 간극수압계수$(B_q)$ 간의 상호 관련성을 정량적으로 평가하였으며, 특히 흙 분류 지수인 $I_c$값에 의하여 객관적으로 구분된 사질토 및 점토와 전체 토사에 대한 변수별 경험적 상관식을 제안하였다. SCPTu의 하향식 탄성파 시험과 일반적인 CPTu의 대상 변형률 수준이 다름에도 불구하고 본 연구에서 도출 제안된 $V_S$와 CPTu 특성값의 상관관계는 국내 일부 퇴적 지반에 대한 $V_S$의 예비적 평가에 매우 유용하였으며, 기존 해외 연구의 상관관계에 비해서도 높은 상관성을 보였다.
