IML 필름 성형공법 제품의 구조해석을 통한 품질개선 (Quality Improvement of IML Film Injection Molding Method through Structural Analysis)

  • The customer demand for diverse colors in home appliances has increased. However, this has led to issues for manufacturers, such as ensuring cost effectiveness and high-level quality control. To resolve these issues, production engineers utilize computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools for injection-molding processes and assess the suitability of process parameters for products manufactured using the in-mold labeling method. CAE can solve various problems in manufacturing processes, thereby increasing production efficiency and decreasing manufacturing cost. In addition, it can be used analyze customer complaints related to surface defects, such as part differences and irregular spacing between parts, and ultimately reduce product returns. In this study, CAE was used to solve quality problems and implement the most economical manufacturing process.

  • This study deals with the characteristic of refrigerant for heat-treatment deformation control of SCM415 steel. The control of heat-treatment deformation must need the progress of production parts for an industry machine. Most of the deformation is occurred on unequal cooling. The unequal cooling is occurred by a property of quenching refrigeration. When a heated metal is deposited in the refrigeration, the cooling speed is so slow in early period of cooling because of occurring a steam-curtain. After more cooling, the steam-curtain is destroyed. In this progress, the cooling speed is very fast. The object of this study is to control the deformation of heat-treatment for the part of the industry machine by improving the conditions of quenching. The cooling curves and cooling rates of water, oil and polymer solution are obtained and illustrated. From the characteristics of the quenching refrigerant, the effects of heat-treatments on the thermal deformation and fatigue strength are also investigated.

차량용 와이어링 하네스 개선을 위한 브릿지 커넥터 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of Bridge Connector Development on Wiring Harness Improvement in Vehicles)

  • Recently a large number of electronic control devices are abruptly increasing in vehicles as the electronic industry advances. Also the number of wiring harnesses and complexity of wiring is proportionally increased to the devices. A newly developed connector named bridge connector is introduced in this study for the purpose of the wiring structure changes. A wiring structure among distributed control systems by using serial communication is proposed with the bridge connector in this paper. The bridge connector contains a auto-recovery fuse made by PTC thermistor material for the protection of the over-currents on local control devices. The auto-recovery function of the fuse is needed for the maintenance free system in the distributed controls. The PTC fuse characteristics organized in this study is tested and the results are showed in detail for the real application.

  • The technical development of electric vehicles has been actively proceeding because of the reduction of oil resources and need for eco-friendly vehicle technology. In particular, an electronic control unit is an important element in the technology of electric vehicles due to the motor drive system. This paper concerns an experimental study on the thermal analysis of the steering control ECU structure for an electric vehicle. The ECU unit is designed for eight heat sinks for the thermal analysis of the ECU structure. The thermal analysis characteristics of the ECU structure are evaluated by the temperature distribution, heat flow, von Mises stress, total translation, and external surface temperature measurement of the ECU unit.

  • The intensity of sunlight becomes lower when weather conditions change, which affects whether a solar-electric vehicle can be driven on a shady road. The power delivered by solar cells can be vary depending on the amount of shade. As a result, the battery system is often used to compensate for variations in the power delivered by solar cells. Therefore, studies of power control systems for solar-electric vehicles are required. In this paper, mathematical models for such a power control system are studied and important variables are considered. Simulation and test results show that the mathematical model and actual designs developed here would be effective when used with solar-electric vehicles.

  • This paper describes the design of a remote control device that can control the ON/OFF state of multiple air compressors using wireless communication. The main remote controller and air compressor remote controller were designed using a microprocessor (ATmega128), and the circuit diagram was configured to wirelessly communicate using A Zigbee module between the two remote controllers. The result of the measurement of wireless communication distance between the two remote controllers was more than 1.1 km.

  • The DC motor has the strong characteristics in the speed response, the system parameter variations and the external influence and is used as the speed controller with its good starting torque in the distributing industry. However development of the Microprocessor which is for high speed switching program can make better control system. This paper introduce to design of the high-effective DC motor controller that is using Software Bang-Bang Program of Fuzzy algorithm and to verity a PI controller and a Fuzzy controller.

  • Studies on the optimizations of machining processes use two different methods. The first is feed control in real-time by spindle load in a machine tool. The second is feed scheduling in NC code control by material removal rate using a CAD/CAM system. Each approach possesses its respective merits and issues compared to the other. That is, each method can be complementary to the other. The purpose of the study is to improve the productivity of the bulkhead, an aircraft Duralumin structure. In this paper, acceleration or deceleration of cutting tool by spindle load data is achieved using adaptive feed control macro programming in a machine tool.

  • This paper presents a new precision moving instrument for the displacement and direction control using the uni-morph type PZT actuator. The instrument is composed of the two-body and a link. The body has the uni-morph type PZT actuator, which make the vibration. Movement of simple moving instrument is generally analyzed by the theory of center-of-gravity moment. However the analysis of the instrument in this paper is focused the resonance of instrument. Resonance of the body is originated a uni-morph type PZT actuator that is vibrated by voltage and frequency. The basic performances of one body instrument are analyzed by the FEM analysis. And experiments are also performed to confirm the linear movement of the instrument and direction control. it is proper a voltage control than a frequency control for the direction changing. And Moving velocity is 0.032m/s.

다단제어 가동보의 구조성능 평가를 위한 해석적 연구 (An Aanalytical Study of Structural Performance Evaluation for Multi-stage Control Movable Weir)

  • Movable weirs with multi-stage control are necessary in many Korean rivers to actively control the water storage level. A mesh dependency test was performed to determine the appropriate number of meshes for structural analysis of movable weirs. The standing angles of movable weirs were set to 60°, 45°, 30°, and 15° for stress analysis. The standing angle of 0° was excluded from the analysis because it was unloaded. Changes in the standing angle led to changes in the water depth, maximum pressure, maximum strain, and maximum stress. The maximum average stress and the structural safety of the multi-stage control movable weir were computed and tested using the Ansys FEA software package.
