대용량 프리폴리머 중합공정의 영향인자 평가 및 예측모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effect of Process Parameters and Development of Prediction Model for Prepolymer Mass Production)

  • Synthetic products such as casting tape and splints are rapidly replacing conventional plaster casts to treat orthopedic patients. Most synthetic products are produced through a polymerization process with related chemical agents. In this study, the effect of the process parameters on the residual NCO content within a prepolymer for casting tape and the hardening temperature for casting tape were experimentally evaluated. In order to verify the effects of the process parameters, an experimental method was adopted. From an S/N ratio analysis, optimal parameter combinations were determined to produce a pre-polymer with a suitable residual NCO content and alower hardening temperature. Prediction models for the NCO content and the hardening temperature were developed and confirmed.

  • A Tool wear monitoring system is indispensable for better machining productivity with guarantee of machining safety by informing the tool changing time in automated and unmanned CNC machining. Different from monitoring using other signals, the monitoring of spindle current has been used without requiring additional sensors on machine tools. For the reliable tool wear monitoring, current signal only of tool wear should be extracted from other parameters to avoid exhaustive analyses on signals in which all parameters are fused. In this paper, influences of force components of parameters on measured spindle current are investigated and a hybrid approach to cutting force regulation is employed for tool wear signal extraction in the spindle current. Finally, wear levels are verified with experimental results by means of real-time feedrate aspects changed to regulate the force component of tool wear.

  • The fractal dimension aims to quantitatively define the irregular characteristics of the shape in nature. It can be useful in describing morphological characteristics of various wear particles. This paper was undertaken to diagnose failure condition for sliding members in lubrication using fractal dimension. The experiments were undertaken to analyze the shape of wear particles and to diagnose failure condition for sliding members in lubrication using the image processing and the fractal parameters. It was possible to diagnose wear mechanism, friction, and damage state of machines through analysis of shape characteristics for wear particle in driven condition using fractal parameters.

  • This paper presents the application of computer vision for the purpose of determining the position of the unknown object in the plane. The presented control method is to estimate the six view parameters representing the relationship between the image plane coordinates and the real physical coordinates. The estimation of six parameters is indispensable for transforming the 2-dimensional camera coordinates to the 3-dimensional spatial coordinates. Then, the position of unknown point is estimated based on the estimated parameters depending on the cameras. The suitability of this control scheme is demonstrated experimentally by determining position of the unknown object in the plane.

인공신경망에 의한 기계구동계의 작동상태 예지 및 판정 (Forceseeability and Decision for Moving Condition of the Machine Driving System by Artificial Neural Network)

  • The morpholgies of the wear particles are directly indicative of wear processes occuring in machinery and their severity. The neural network was applied to identify wear debris generated from the machine driving system. The four parameters(50% volumetric diameter, aspect, roundness and reflectivity) of wear debris are used as inputs to the network and learned the friction condition of five values(material 3, applied load 1, sliding distance 1). It is shown that identification results depend on the ranges of these shape parameters learned. The three kinds of the wear debris had a different patter characteristic and recognized the friction condition and materials very well by artificial neural network. We discussed how the network determines differencee in wear debris feature, and this approach can be applied to foreseeability and decisio for moving condition of the Machine driving system.

  • Since introducing the "Theory of Constraints" by Goldratt, its effect was verified by lots of scholars, men of enterprise. These days it is also introducing and studying in this country with good results. The objective of this study is to show how to determine the constraint resources on DBR scheduling. Actually, previous studies based on the line which just think a load/capacity rate on doing scheduling. This study will show a scheduling method which reflects multi-parameters. It could be a standard to reflect real manufacturing surroundings. On calculating a priority of each resources, we classified factors with subjective and objective factors. And we propose a decision model to incorporate values assigned by a group of experts on different factors to select a critical resource. On deploying this model, SN ratio of Taguchi method for each of subjective and objective factors will be used. And we propose a procedure which is organized with 7 steps. To understand the logic, a numerical manufacturing simulation will be presented. This method is a incorporating decision model on determining the constraint on multi parameters with experts.h experts.

마이크로 머시닝에서의 공구 정렬과 가공정밀도 (Tool Alignment and Machining Accuracy in Micro End Milling)

  • A micro end mill is one of the precise tools used in machining ultra-precision products such as microchannel and micropatterned mold. To achieve the required precision of these products, several studies investigated the cutting force, burr formation, and burr generation mechanism of micro end mills; however, there are few studies on the alignment of micro tools, which is the foundation of machining. Hence, in this investigation, relation expressions were derived to determine the relation between the misalignment parameters and the machining accuracy. At the same time, the effect of the machining parameters was analyzed using a multiple linear regression analysis and the analysis of variance. The results indicate that the tilting angle of a micro tool has more influence on the machining accuracy than other parameters.

제조공정자동화를 위한 다관절 아암의 정밀위치제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Precise Position Control of Articulated Arm for Manufacturing Process Automation)

  • This paper presents a new approach to control the position of robot arm in workspace a robot manipulator under unknown system parameters and bounded disturbance inputs. To control the motion of the manipulator, an inverse dynamics control scheme was applied. Since parameters of the robot arm such as mass and inertia are not perfectly known, the difference between the actual and estimated parameters was considered as a external disturbance force. To identify the known parameters, an improved robust control algorithm is directly derived from the Lyapunov's Second Method. A robust control algorithm is devised to counteract the bounded disturbance inputs such as contact forces and disturbing forces coming from the difference between the actual and the estimated system parameters. Numerical examples are shown using SCARA arm with four joints.

Taguchi 방법을 이용한 STD61의 표면거칠기에 대한 볼 엔드 밀링 파라미터 최적화 (The Optimization of Ball End-Milling Parameters on the Surface Roughness of STD61 Steel using the Taguchi Method)

  • When considering the proper function and life cycle length of a product, its surface finish plays an important role. This experimental study was carried out to understand the effect of input factors on surface roughness and how it can be minimized by controlling the input parameters. This experimental work was performed by machining the surface of STD 61 blocks with a surface inclined at $30^{\circ}$ by ball end-milling and optimizing the input parameters using the Taguchi technique. Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratio and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were applied to find the significance of the input parameters. The optimum level of input parameters to minimize surface roughness was obtained.

지오컴포지트의 공정인자와 물성의 최적화 분석 (Optimization Analysis between Processing Parameters and Physical Properties of Geocomposites)

  • 열융착법을 이용하여 보강과 배수기능을 가진 니들펀치 및 스펀본딩 부직포의 지오컴포지트를 제조하였다. 이 다층 부직포의 물성(인장, 인열 및 파영강도, 투수도 등)은 열융착법을 사용하여 제조될 경우 온도, 압력, 접착시간 등의 공정인자에 좌우된다. 따라서, 열융착법으로 제조된 지오컴포지트의 공정인자와 물성의 최적화는 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 인공신경망(ANN)을 사용하여 지오컴포지트의 제조공정 최적화를 위한 알고리즘이 개발되었다. 지오컴포지트의 공정인자를 변화시켜 부직포 성능변화를 예측하기 위한 신경망 모사가 적용되었으며, 분석결과에 대한 제조방법의 효과를 조사하였다.
