Special objectives were: to analyze dietitians' special considerations for menu planning in the view of nutrition, recipients' food preferences, and foodservice management; and to interprete menus by food groups and food costs. An open-ended questionnaire was developed and sent to 55 dietitians of welfare institutions for mental-disorders by a fax. Dietitians were asked to write their special considerations for menu planning relating to the nutrition, recipients, and menu management. A total of 46 dietitians responded to the questionnaires. Also, 32 weekly menus were sent to analyze in this study. Results of this study showed that dietitians considered specially energy, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and fats for recipients's health conditions and daily RDA. However, dietitians wanted more information about right menu plan manuals for psychiatric patients. Analysis of weekly menus showed that milk and milk products were th most insufficient serving food group in these institutions. Also, snacks (p<0.05)and milk products (p<0.05) serving was significantly affected by higher food costs. The results implicated that future research on menu development should be necessary for nutritional balanced meal services in welfare institutions.
This study identifies visible/invisible factors and analyzes facilities, structure, and visible perceptive contents in the aspects of operation and efficiency with a focus on the interfaces between interior design of the subway and users. More specifically, it diagnoses the requirements and empirically presents improvements. In addition, this study aims to diagnose the interfaces between trains and users by reinterpreting and evaluating factors from the perspectives of users, and to elicit the universal interface and an objective form of conceptual, structural, and formative relations in regard to the conditions required to the design. As the interior design in the subway trains is for the public reflecting the value, consciousness, and behaviors of users, it should be approached through the application of the concept of universal design that considers the potential needs and psychological satisfaction of users. In arranging the indoor of the vehicles, the conditions for the facilities should be specified through the interdisciplinary approach from professional fields including ergonomics and psychology, the path of flow should be induced through the use of space and the analysis of passengers' behaviors, an integrated planning should be re-established, and continuous evaluations of basic guidelines, manuals, and requirements should be made.
In this study, It is assumed that customers are both usage unit of spare parts and stores of displaying and selling the goods that are installation unit of having the spare parts. The demand pattern through the effective order of spare parts and issue list in installation unit is investigated based on the assumption. Current ASL (Authorized Stockage List) selection of the army has been conducted in the way of using the analysis result of real usage experiences on spare parts used during the Korea War. For this study, ASL selection criteria and procedures based on army regulations and field manuals are specified. Since the traditional method does not presents the association analysis on spare parts used for the current equipment operating and does not have the clear criterion and analysis system about the ASL selection, in order to solve these problems, it was carried out that the association rule is employed for analyzing relationship between the effective order and issue list of the spare parts in point of the spare parts between usage unit and occurring month about purchase spare parts based on the star-schema table. Finally the new ASL selection way using the analysis result is proposed.
