  • A Teaching and Operating Expert System (TOES) was designed in order to perform a task effectively which is inaccessible to man. Once an error occurs in the middle of the task operation, the automatic mode is converted into a manual mode. After recovering the error by the manual mode, the manual mode should be converted into the automatic mode. It was necessary to improve the manual mode in order to increase the availability of a man-robot system, a part of the human interface technique. Therefore, the Error Recovery Expert System must be constructed and developed.

항공기의 고도, 속도 및 깊은 실속의 회복을 위한 자동회복장치 설계 및 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Validation of Automatic Pitch Rocker System for Altitude, Speed and Deep Stall Recovery)

  • Modem version of supersonic jet fighter aircraft must have been guaranteed appropriate controllability and stability in HAoA(High Angle of Attack). The HAoA flight control law have two parts, one is control law of departure prevention and the other is control law of departure recovery support. The control laws of departure prevention for advanced jet trainer consist of HAoA limiter, roll command limiter and rudder fader. The control laws of departure recovery support are consist of yaw-rate limiter and MPO(Manual Pitch Override) mode. The guideline of pitch rocking using MPO mode is simple, but operating skill of pitch rocking is very difficult by the pilot with inexperience of departure situation. Therefore, automatic deep stall recovery system is necessary. The system called the "Automatic Pitch Rocker System" or APRS, provided a pilot initiated automatic maneuver capable of an aircraft recoveries in situations of deep stall, speed and altitude. This paper addresses the design and validation for APRS to recovery of an deep stall without manual pitch rocking by the pilot. Also, this system is designed to recovery of speed, attitude and altitude after deep stall recovery using ATCS (Automatic Thrust Control System) and autopilot. Finally, this system is verified by real-time pilot evaluation using HQS (Handling Quality Simulator).

도수치료와 치료적 운동이 만성 요통의 여성 노인의 만성 통증과 신체 기능에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Manual Therapy and Theraputic Exercise on Chronic Pain and Body Function in Elder Women with Chronic Low Back Pain)

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise on pain and body function in elder women with chronic low back pain. Methods: The patients with chronic low back pain were randomly divided 2 group. The experiment group (n=11) was taken manual therapy and therapeutic exercise program. The control group (n=10) was taken physical therapy program(hot pack with 30 minutes and ICT with 15 minutes and ultra sound with 15 minutes). Both groups intervention performed 3 session during 6 weeks. We measured the quadruple visual analogue scale, flexibility, static balance, leg strength subject of symptom before and after experiment. The significant test pared t-test according to applying the manual therapy and therapeutic exercise group and control group between group used independent t-test. Results: Pain assessment in the experimental group was significantly different between time and group. Flexibility test groups were not significantly different between time and group. The static balance was not significantly different for the time. Strength tests were also not significantly different for the time. Conclusions: According to the results, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise group it was found to be helpful in pain, flexibility, static balance, not strength in elderly patients with chronic low back pain.

환축추 회전 아탈구 환자에 대한 도수치료 효과 (Effect of Manual Therapy on a Patient With Atlantoaxial Rotatory Subluxation)

  • Background: An 8-year-old girl had severe neck pain and stiffness after trauma. CT scan showed atlantoaxial rotatory subluxation (AARS). She had conservative treatment because she did not have neurological symptoms and spinal basilar artery dysfunction. Conservative therapy was halter traction twice for 4 weeks. However, pain and stiffness persisted. She had been recommended to have surgery from her physician, but she received manual therapy for non-surgical procedures. Methods: The joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, motor control exercise, and deep neck flexor (DNF) endurance exercise were applied as manual therapy and 10 session for 2weeks. Results: Clinical outcomes were measured at initial baseline, after 2 weeks, and after 6weeks. Active range of motion was completely restored after 6weeks and numeric pain rating scale was completely reduced after 2 weeks. The strength of neck flexor muscle recovered to normal after 2 weeks, and the DNF endurance was improved to 25 seconds after 2 weeks and to 42 seconds after 6weeks. Motor control capacity recovered to 30 ㎜Hg after 2 weeks. Conclusions: This case report describes the immediate and short-term clinical outcomes for a patient presenting with symptoms of neck pain following AARS. Clinical rationale and patient preference aided the decision to incorporate manual therapy as a treatment for this patient. Manual therapy has shown a successful recovery in AARS patients, more research is needed to validate the inference of this case report.

자동차 수동 조작에 걸리는 시간 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Time Prediction with Hand Control in Vehicle)

  • Consumers turn away their face from a vehicle that doesn't satisfy their sensibility and is designed without consideration of driver's performance. In terms of driver's performance, the manual motor processor carries out the primary interactions between driver and vehicle. Therefore, in this paper, time prediction model is studied that is an important part when drivers manipulate the manual control during driving. Experiments were executed for 20 subjects using two kinds of vehicles and regressed to Fitts' Law. The noise filtering method was suggested for the performance times of manipulating the manual control. Especially, it was shown that Fitts' Law derived by an approximation of Shannon's theorem can predict drivers performance time more appropriately than other methods.

  • 본 논문은 교통을 수동 조작하는점에 대한 사람들의 반응을 분석하기 위해서 퍼지측도와 퍼지적분의 응용에 관련된 것이다. 이같은 목적을 위해 수동 교통조작에 대한 설문조사가 이루어지고 데이터는 전문가와 비전문가를 사이에 두고 이루어져 있다. 사람들의 반응의 기본구조를 파악하기 위해 요소분석을 수행하였다. 전문가와 비전문가 그굽들사이의 설문조사의 반응에 대한 태도가 퍼지측도분석에 의한 계층적 구저로서 잘 설명되어진다.

  • Gabion can be used for the purpose of preventing overflow of river and side loss of road. However the manufacturing process of the gabion is manually controlled especially to the joining process at the terminal part of gabion with small diameter wire. In this paper automatic feeding guide system was designed and fabricated to make automation. The fabricated system was tested in the factory level. Pneumatic system was considered as the main idea of the feeding system. 3/2-way and 5/2-way manual control valve, eight double-acting cylinders were used. Based on the theoretical simulation and actual test the fabricated system was well controlled. The system was applied to the patent.

근막이완술과 Mulligan 기법이 경부성 두통환자의 통증과 기능회복에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Myofacial Release and Mulligan Technique on Pain and Disability for Cervicogenic Headache Patients)

  • Background: Headaches arising from cervical musculoskeletal disorders are common. Conservative therapies are recommended as the choice of first treatment. Evidence to the effects of manual therapy is inconclusive and available only during the short term. There is no evidence to exercise, and no study has investigated the effect of combined therapies for cervicogenic headache. Methods: In this study, 30 participants who met the diagnostic criteria for cervicogenic headache were randomized into two groups: experimental group and control group. The experimental group was performed myofascial release (MFR), Mulligan technique and self stretching exercises. The control group was performed electrical therapy and self stretching exercises. Assessments were performed to 30 participants before and after 4 weeks therapy. The components of assessments were headache intensity(HI), headcahe duration (HD), neck pain (NP) and neck disability index (NDI). Results: After 4 weeks therapy, HI, HD, neck pain and NDI were significantly reduced in both groups (p<.01). The HI, HD, neck pain and NDI were significantly reduced in experimental group more than in the control group (p<.01). Conclusions: Manual therapy could reduce the symptoms of cervicogenic headache.

추나 치료가 성인 소화기계 질환에 미치는 영향에 대한 문헌 고찰 (Review of Chuna Manual Therapy for Adult Digestive System Disease)

  • Objectives : To determine the effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy(CMT) for Adult Visceral Diseases. Methods : To find evidence of CMT for adult digestive system disease, we used 9 electronic databases(Pubmed, CAJ, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, KISS, KISTI, NDSL, RISS) up to April 2018. We reviewed randomized control trials(RCTs) using Chuna for Digestive system disease. To assess the methodological quality of each RCT, we used the Cochrane risk of bias tool. Results : We identified 11 RCTs about irritable bowel syndrome, chronic ulcerative colitis, gastritis, gastroptosis, spleen entropathy, gastrointestinal dysfunction after stroke in 356 studies. All studies used total efficiency rate for main outcome. In all studies, CMT was effective for digestive system disease. Conclusions : CMT was effective for Digestive system disease. Risk of bias was high and the difference between the experimental group and the control group was not great. Considering that there were no reports of side effects, it seems possible to apply CMT to the treatment of adult digestive system disease.
