Background : The system for collecting and managing the terminologies of Korean oriental medicine is essential to facilitate researches of developing intelligent information architecture based on ontology. Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to develop system for collecting and managing system for terminologies of Korean oriental medicine. Methods : First we defined roles of users used in this system, and define the system workflow based on them. Then we developed web-based collecting and managing system in which multiuser can work simultaneously, and it is compose of relational database system. Results : The terminologies of Korean Oriental Medicine can be efficiently collected, purified, inspected, and utilized by using proposed system. Conclusions : The system, proposed in this paper, can be used the whole field of oriental medicines for basic technology and has great contributions to make intelligent information architecture of oriental medicine based on ontology concept.

This study investigates how green infrastructure, including natural and open space such as forests, rivers, parks, and streets, could effectively counteract climate change in terms of mitigation and adaption, respectively. As a result, green infrastructure, such as forests, parks, vegetable gardens, roof gardens, pedestrian walkways, bike lanes, etc, could effectively mitigate climate change: 1) Carbon storage and sequestration; 2) Fossil fuel substitution; 3) Material substitution; 4) Food production 5) Reducing the need to travel by car. Secondly, green infrastructure, such as rivers, tree-lined streets, farmland, wetlands, dunes, wind ways, etc, could adapt to climate change: 1) Managing high temperatures; 2) Managing water supply; 3) Managing ravine flooding; 4) Managing costal flooding; 5) Managing surface water; 6) Reducing soil erosion; 7) Helping other species to adapt.

There exists vast amount of information in the military, both at the personal level and at the national security level. Cryptographic algorithms can present a solution to managing this information safely. We suggest searchable encryption algorithms for efficiently managing military data, which should be treated securely in an online environment. Furthermore, we investigate algorithms that are effective for managing military data under various conditions.

Environmental management systems offer a set of management tools and principles that can help integrate environmental concerns into daily business practices. Such systems have been in existence since the 1980's. This research identifies the firm's implementation of environmental management that is the most and least popular for managing the environmental management such as 3R's, EM, EMS, environmental awareness. This article investigates the differences of managing to environmental issues of firms between Korea and U.S. The research results suggest that the U.S. firms control of 3R's, EM and EMS better than Korea's, while Korean firms have higher environmental awareness than U.S. firms.

Current landscape management is focused towards managing uniformly, such as setting a limit on building's height and managing by putting first priority on building. For this reason, broader impact of landscape has not been studies thoroughly, and it was considered to be an important factor of not being able to operate diverse and active landscape management. Accordingly, the objective of this particular research to establish concrete and diverse device for managing landscape by adapting Map Algebra and Spatial Statistics, as one of the means of efficient landscape management, and applying the effectiveness of each landscape element in numerical value. Furthermore, this research was done in order to make a spatial estimation possible for resources to be located in compliance with each facility or landscape condition of individual region.

In International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS), companies have difficulties in managing efficiently own accounting rules and demonstrating the adequacy of accounting processes with the conventional accounting system. BRMS(Business Rule Management System) provides methods for managing, processing, and monitoring these accounting rules according to accounting principles and situation. This paper proposed the BRMS-based financial programming framework for managing and processing the accounting principles and the own accounting rules.

This paper presents an integrated object-oriented database approach for managing the evolution of products in agile manufacturing environments, Schema evolution modification facilities are provided to support full potential versioning of type definitions. All of the possible versions for a composite product are not explicitly represented to avoid version proliferation. However, valid configurations of any composite products can be provided to comply with customer demands, The attributes of composite products are classified in order to provide well-defined representation scheme for composite products and to be exploited in version control. The attributes are partitioned into composite-related and non composite-related categories. Composite-related attributes consist of subproducts and description ones. Subproducts attributes represent physical constituents of a composite product. Description attributes represent external features, assembling, and correspondence property. Interface attributes are introduced for managing configurability and version propagation. Version derivations due to the changes to the interface attributes are propagated toward the product composition hierarchy, The validity of configurations of composite products is checked by using configurability maps. Instance objects which represent the actual product instances are stored and manipulated in the database in order to support traceability during product life cycle.

The purposes of this study was : 1) to describe the theoretical background of Clean-up Time Movement managing visitors' depreciative behavior ; 2) to test the effectiveness of a mass communication program, Clean-up Time Movement in National Park. This study employed a field experimental design (Multiple time-series design) in Naejangsan National Park. This study evaluated the differential effectiveness of the self-developed Clean-up Time Movement Program to reduce littering behavior between Control groups (Those who not received Clean-up Time Program) and Treatment groups (Those who received Clean-up Time Program) by weighting trash gathered in a litter box and scattered around picnic ground. The results showed that the Clean-up Time Movement Program was more effective to reduce the total trash and the trash degree per a person in Treatment groups than Control groups. It seemed to effective in managing depreciative behavior through the mass communication program in National Park.

BADA-IV/XML is a system designed specifically for managing XML. Documents and is essential to various electronic document applications as a fundamental system. BADA-IV/XML supports all of aspects of data model, querying and manipulation operations for managing XML documents. This paper provides an overview of these aspects of the BADA-IV/XML, as well as defines schema classes for stroing, querying and maintaining hierarchical semantics of multimedia documents and structural semantics of complex documents linked with each other, Also a multimedia document query language is designed and implemented to support essential operations for efficient searching and managing multimedia documents. Finally, some simulation results show the performance of the paged VF(Virtual Fragmentation) model and the search model using element's identifier as compared with a general model.
