  • Based on theories and case analysis, the present research concerns the deduction of useful results about the basic stage for setting up a planar plan for children's play therapy facility, which cures children's psychological problems such as social maladaptation by means of play rather than language. The case analysis was sub-categorized into movement in each area, relative position among areas, and the size of each room. Detailed investigations were made concerning: First, Adjacent areas of each area. Second, Movement plan, which was sub-categorized into the movement of therapists and that of the children receiving therapy and guardians; area was sub-categorized into management area, therapy area and service area. Third, the size of each area measured was calculated to be expressed as the percentage of the total size. The result is as follows: (1) As for adjacent areas, in some cases management area and service area were adjacent, with isolated therapy area; whereas in the other cases, service area and information area, which is a part of management area, were placed along the doorway, with therapy area between them and therapist area, which is the other part of management area, behind them. (2) As for movement, the movement of therapists and that of children receiving therapy were same; whereas the movement of guardians was allowed only up to the middle part of the therapy facilities, and there was almost no entry of guardians into the play therapy rooms located in the inner parts. This is because they do not show the details of their therapy for children to guardians. (3) As for size, the area of independent facilities were similar; whereas institutional facilities in general had larger waiting room and unlike independent facilities, were of diverse size.

  • The study examined evaluated the sanitation management state of the high school foodservice operations, as measured by temperature, humidity and airborne bacteria concentration in functional areas and further identified their relationships. Data were collected from 26 high school foodservices in Gyeonggi Province. Statistical analyses were conducted with the SPSS program using descriptive analysis and spearman's correlation. The sanitation management performances in high school foodservice scored 86.85 out of 100 points and showed higher scores in the dimensions of preparation and storing management (17.85/20 points), operation management (17.78/20 points), and cooking utensil management (17.62/20 points), while the dimensions of cross contamination management as well as personal hygiene management needed action plans for prompt improvement. The airborne bacteria concentration was highest in the dining area (179.2 CFU/plate), and requiring action plans for improvement. The relative humidity in functional areas ranged from 66.5% in the receiving area to 74.4% (dish-washing area) and the temperature of the preparation area showed an average of $25.1^{\circ}C$ with the highest of $35.4^{\circ}C$ in the dish-washing area. In terms of the relationships among airborne bacteria, temperature, and humidity, the concentration of airborne bacteria was negatively correlated with and temperature in the dish-washing area (r= -0.693, P<0.05), and no other significances were shown in the other areas.

  • In personal communication systems location management of mobile terminals is required to connect incoming calls to the mobile terminals. Investigation of effective location update and paging strategies is important to reduce the cost of location management. In this study, we propose a paging strategy considering the mobile terminals' residence patterns. The first paging area is characterized by the set of cells in the location area where mobile terminals usually stay for a significant period of time. The rest of cells in the location area are included into the second paging area. To reduce the paging cost the first paging area is decided by reflecting various residence patterns of mobile terminals. For an incoming call, the sequential paging is performed in the order of the paging area. Thus the paging cost is greatly reduced, especially when the called mobile terminal is located in the first paging area. The proposed strategy is expected to be more effective than an existing strategy that uses the anchor cell in the location area.

We propose the decision criterion of the first paging area by comparing the cost against zone-based strategy. For an incoming call. we perform the sequential paging by the order of the first paging area and the rest of cells in the location area called by the second paging area. Thus the paging cost is greatly reduced, especially when the called mobile terminal is located in the first paging area. • In this study, the characteristics and the status of disaster management in rural area were analyzed. Through this study, we tried to find ways to cooperate with public and private organizations to manage disaster in rural areas. In order to understand the current state of disaster management in rural areas, we surveyed the residents and disaster management officials of local governments. As a result of the survey, both public servants and residents answered that it is difficult for residents to participate in disaster management. This is due to lack of time due to agriculture as the main business. The SWOT analysis and strategy of rural disaster management were derived through the analysis of these surveys. In addition, five types of disaster management network and two types of operation were proposed. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the management plan of the rural disaster management public-private network in the rural area. Further research is needed in depth on each of the operational measures in the future.

  • This study is intend to evaluate natural conservation value, and to suggest natural park plan based on conservation value evaluation. In this study evaluation items are selected through related studies about ecological conservation evaluation, and evaluation items in this study can be classified into 2 aspects, ecological environment and topographic environment. After each evaluation items are overlaid with GIS program, management levels are derived from comprehensive overlaid maps of each evaluation items. Management areas can be classified into 5 levels; Critical Conservation Area, Conservation Area, Restoration Area, Passive Usable Area, Active Development Area and Settlement Area. So management areas can be matched each management levels to land use of natural park, that is district of preservation, district of natural environment, district of settlements and district of mass facilities. This study have good enough to evaluate ecological value for natural park plan, but, it is difficult to evaluate conservation value only with maps of each evaluation items, so it needs supplementary field survey for precise conservation value evaluation.
