동태적 역량을 고려한 2단계 성과측정시스템 설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of Two-Stage Performance Measurement System Considering Dynamic Capabilities)

  • The dynamic capabilities of sensing market signals, creating new opportunities and reconfiguring resources and capabilities to new opportunities in a rapidly changing economic environment determines the competitiveness of the enterprise to create added value and survival. This study conceptualized a two-stage performance measurement framework based on the casual model of resource (input)-process-performance (output). We have developed a 'Process capability index' that reflect the dynamic capabilities factors as a key intermediary product linking resource inputs and performance outputs in enterprise performance measurement. The process capability index consists of four elements : manpower (level of human resource), operation productivity, structure and risk management. The DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model was applied to the developed performance indicators to analyze the branch office performance of a telecom company. Process capability efficiency (stage 1) uses resource inputs to reach a certain level of process capabilities. In performance result efficiency (stage 2), the process capabilities are used to generate sales revenues and subscribers. The two-stage DEA model derives intermediate output values that optimize the individual stages simultaneously. Some branch offices in the telecom company have focused on process capability efficiency or some other branch offices focused on performance result efficiency. Positioning map using two-stage efficiency decomposition and benchmarking can help identify the sources of inefficiencies and visualize strategic directions for performance optimization. Applications of two-stage DEA in conjunction with the case study that are meaningfully used in performance measurement areas have been scarce. In particular, this paper has the contribution to present a new performance measurement model considering the organization theory, the dynamic capabilities.

공공기관 고객만족지수(PCSI) 모형을 적용한 도서관 고객만족도 측정 (Measuring Library User Satisfaction using the Public-service Customer Satisfaction Index (PCSI))

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 공공기관 고객만족 조사에 보편적으로 활용되고 있는 "공공기관 고객만족지수(Public-service Customer Satisfaction Index, PCSI)모형"을 도서관에 적용하여 측정함으로써 고객만족 결과를 조직의 성과평가에 활용할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국회도서관을 대상으로 하여 PCSI 기반의 고객만족도 조사 모형을 설계하고 국회도서관 이용자 341명으로부터 수집한 설문조사를 통해 모형을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 국회도서관이 이용자에게 제공하는 각종 서비스의 품질은 고객만족의 원인이 되고, 고객만족은 또 조직성과에 직접적으로 영향을 미치고 있으며 서비스의 환경품질과 사회품질요인이 고객만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 선행요인모형, 만족모형, 성과모형 모든 영역에서 외부이용자가 내부이용자에 비해 높은 점수를 보였고 PCSI의 고객만족모형을 통해 산출된 고객만족 점수는 80.4로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고객만족을 통해 조직의 성과를 측정하는 이론적 체계를 확보하는 동시에, 이용자 관점에서 성과목표 달성 정도를 측정하는 성과관리 도구로 활용할 수 있다.

  • 현대 기업에 있어서 기업 내외부에 발생하는 상호작용에 대한 객관적이며 계량화된 성과측정 방법론에 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 이러한 현상의 원인은 기업에 대한 객관적인 평가를 통한 기업의 현재가치와 현재의 에너지 상태를 가늠하여 미래 지향적인 전략의 수립과 실천의 중요성이 있기 때문이다. 이에 따라 최근 들어 부각되고 있는 객관적 성과측정 방법론인 BSC(Balance Scorecard)를 사용한 성과지표로써의 KPI 선정이 매우 중요시되고 있다. 기존 KPI에 대한 많은 연구들이 여러 산업 군에서 이루어져 있지만, SI 기업에 대한 KPI 연구는 미비한 실정이었다. 본 연구에서는 SI 기업에 적용될 수 있는 KPI를 발굴하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. SI 기업들의 일반적인 전략에 따른 KPI 설계체계에 대한 연구와 조직군별 평가지표 개발에 따른 방법론과 평가지표개발에 대한 연구를 진행 하였으며, 아울러 각각의 평가지표에 따른 가중치 적용 방법론을 제시하였다.

센스형성과 센스전달의 과정으로서 인적자원관리 실행 (Human Resource Management Implementation as a Process of Sensemaking and Sensegiving)

  • Organization's innovation capability is strongly tied to its intellectual capital or knowledge utilization. Employees play a key role in generation of intellectual capital and utilization of knowledge in a firm. Thus, the importance of human resource management (HRM) system for enhancing competency of employees and facilitating knowledge sharing between employees is getting its significance. In this paper, we highlighted the effect of HRM implementation to explain the reason of performance differences among firms, adopting the same ideal HRM system. The successful implementation of HRM system as well as the contents of HRM system was critical to enhance firm performance through HRM system. To investigate the effect of HRM implementation on firm performance, we proposed the three components of HRM implementation (i.e.; TMT philosophy, HR department capability and communication) in perspective of sense making and sense giving theory. Then, we analyzed the moderating effect of HRM implementation on the high commitment HRM - firm performance relationship. Empirical results showed that each component of HRM implementation positively strengthened the relationship between high commitment HRM and firm performance. In addition, the composite index of HRM implementation calculated by average value of three components revealed more significant moderating effect between the two. Furthermore, We discussed the academical and practical implications, and suggested future research directions.

관리도 성능평가모형을 통한 관리한계선 갱신주기 탐지기법 (Update Cycle Detection Method of Control Limits using Control Chart Performance Evaluation Model)

  • Statistical process control (SPC) is an important technique for monitoring and managing the manufacturing process. In spite of its easiness and effectiveness, some problematic sides of application exist such that the SPC techniques are hardly reflect the changes of the process conditions. Especially, update of control limits at the right time plays an important role in acquiring a reasonable performance of control charts. Therefore, we propose the control chart performance evaluation index (CPEI) based on count data model to monitor and manage the performance of control charts. The CPEI could indicate the degree of control chart performance and be helpful to detect the proper update cycle of control limits in real time. Experiments using real manufacturing data show that the proper update intervals are made by proposed method.

요양병원 간호사의 공감능력과 치매 환자 통증에 대한 태도 및 통증관리 수행도 (Geriatric Hospital Nurses' Empathy, Attitude and Pain Management for Patients with Dementia)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify nurses' empathy, attitude and pain management for patients with dementia and the factors associated with their performance of pain management. Methods: The study design was a cross-sectional survey. The participants in the study were 114 nurses working at 12 geriatric hospitals. This study utilized the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), which measures four empathy factors. Nurses' attitudes toward pain and performance of pain management, and general and pain related characteristics were measured by self-administered questionnaires. Results: Barriers to pain management for patients with dementia were absence of guidelines, prejudice of pain in dementia, and lack of time and knowledge deficit. There was a significant positive correlation between empathic concern and attitudes, perspective-taking of empathy and pain management. There was also a correlation between empathy and pain management. Stepwise linear regression analysis indicated that the significant factors affecting the performance of pain management included perspective-taking of empathy, use of pain management in dementia guideline and attitudes toward pain. These factors explained 24.0% of variance. Conclusion: The findings from this study suggest that empathy and positive attitude are the important provider attributes which needs to be enhanced by educational programs. It is also necessary to develop and disseminate guidelines for a dementia specific pain management.

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of the construction work of apartment buildings. The construction work operation was divided into five major tasks, which include: Schedule Control (P'1 - P5) Construction Management (C'1 - C'5), Environmental Management (E'1 - E'3), and Quality Management. Finally, this study derived major construction execution tasks through correlation between construction work and the original index and t-test.

Design and evaluation of a fuzzy cooperative caching scheme for MANETs

  • Caching of frequently accessed data in multi-hop ad hoc environment is a technique that can improve data access performance and availability. Cooperative caching, which allows sharing and coordination of cached data among several clients, can further en-hance the potential of caching techniques. In this paper, we propose a fuzzy cooperative caching scheme in mobile ad hoc networks. The cache management of the proposed caching scheme not only uses adaptively CacheData or CachePath based on data sim-ilarity and data utility, but also uses the replacement manager based on data pro t. Also, the proposed caching scheme uses a prefetch manager. When the TTL of the cached data expires, the prefetch manager evaluates the popularity index of the data. If the popularity index is larger than a threshold, the data is prefetched. Otherwise, its space is released. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated analytically and is compared to that of other cooperative caching schemes.

시설물 안전 및 유지관리 성과 평가에 관한 연구 - 시설물 안전등급 변화를 중심으로 - (A Study on Performance Evaluation of Infrastructure Safety and Maintenance)

  • 최근 인프라 투자는 신규 건설 중심에서 기 시공된 시설의 효율적인 운영과 유지관리로 패러다임이 전환되고 있다. 이와 함께 시설물 노후화에 따른 안전에 대한 국민적 관심이 증폭되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국시설안전공단의 시설물관리종합정보시스템에 등록되어 있는 1994년부터 2014년까지의 시설물 유지관리 관련 데이터를 바탕으로 점검진단지수와 보수보강지수 등의 정량적 분석 방법론을 적용하여 유지관리 활동의 성과를 평가하였다. 또한 과거에 비해 현재 시설물의 안전도가 어느 정도 향상되었는지 안전등급 데이터를 토대로 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 우리나라 시설물의 안전성은 과거 대비 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났으며 안전성이 향상된 요인으로는 정기적인 안전점검과 그에 따른 보수 보강 활동의 결과로 추정해 볼 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 도출 된 결과는 향후 시설물의 유지관리 정책 및 전략 수립에서 기초적 자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

NHPCI 지표를 활용한 공용성 추정과 수명 산정 (Estimation of Performance and Pavement Life using National Highway Pavement Condition Index)

  • PURPOSES: The new methodology is proposed for estimation of long-term performance and pavement life based on the national highway database in Daejeon area. Furthermore, this study tried to verify the applicability of performance estimation using NHPCI (National Highway Pavement Condition Index) on tendency of pavement deterioration as time goes by under Korean road environments. METHODS: Reliability theories are applied to estimate the mean life and to determine the appropriate distribution using 3 levels of traffic loads (high, medium, low) based on maintenance and rehabilitation history data for 15 years. RESULTS: As a result, Lognormal distribution is suitable for explanation of pavement lifetime in Daejeon area regardless of traffic loads. In addition, we found that the results of mean life and maintenance timing based on NHPCI for the pavement sections of 3 levels of traffic loads are available. CONCLUSIONS: Based on this study, it was found that mean life of high, medium and low levels of traffic loads are about 8.1 years, 12.2 years and 12.7 years, respectively. Higher level of traffic loads shorten the pavement mean life.
