  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the utilization level of forecasting methods in contract foodservice management companies. Questionnaires were distributed and collected from 30 foodservice management companies contracted with universities and 49 university foodservices in Seoul and Kyungki area. Statistical data analysis was performed using SPSS/WIN 10.0 based on the production records of Yonsei University foodservices and the weather reports from a meteorological observatory. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The objectives of the fore-casting systems were identified as saving costs through eliminating the leftover, meeting the customer demands, and improving efficiency in food preparation.2) All of the university foodservices were already performing the forecasting methods but in foodservice management companies as a whole,89.7 percents were applying the method and only 55.2 percents had the separate forecasting department. 3) A large number of foodservice staffs in the head office (65.5%) answered that they often utilized intuitive estimates based on the past experiences and records for forecasting while 65.3% managing staffs in the university foodservices answered the same.4) Both in the head office and university foodservices, actual number of meals served were recorded. In the head office, mostly estimated numbers and actual numbers of meals were recorded while estimated, prepared, and actual numbers of meals served were recorded for most of the cases in university foodservices. 5) The primary factors considered for forecasting were the actual production records for the last month, the customer preference for the selected menu items, and the specific day of the week.

  • The Records Centers' key institution is that ensure the continuity of custodys until records produced by the Office are transferred to the Archives. The transfer of records is the main works that the records center carries out annually. The introduction of the business management system in 2008 established electronic prodcuction and management of records. And Non-digital records have been registered and managed electronicallly on the system. This study analyzed the transfer procedure of non-digital records and the Transfer List between 2017 and 2019 by the Hamyang Office of Education Records Center. This study proposed improvement of transfer works by idnetifing and measuring the status of electronic management of non-digital records.

  • With the renewed definition of "office". it's function and role has been reduced. Therefore. home oofices are beginning to draw people's attention. Office within the home is called SOHO (Small Office Home Office). SOHO has become possible with the development of information and telecommunication network technology. Recently. companies are adopting the SOHO system along with the trends of business restructuring. The SOHO offers workers to enjoy more flexible work time and enhance concentration thus improving jop efficiency. Companies will be able to cut down on fixed expenses and increase productivity. In addition. such working conditions will contribute to relieve traffic and environmental problems and furthermore it will make it possible to take advantage of potential workforce of women. the elderly and the handicapped. "Home Office" is expected to be one of the prevailing work system in the near future. Therefore. it is all the more important to study design problems including space design and furniture arrangement in order to improve work efficiency and provide a creative working environment. Moreover. architects and interior designers as well as experts on related fields such as information network. telecommunications. management and employment should continue to carry out joint researches for reasonable home office furniture and environment design.nd environment design.

  • Under the changes of administrative systems and office automation, 'the national record management system' had been reformed until 'Record Management Act' was enacted in 1999. Between 1984 and 1992, the national record management system was reformed in process of overcoming national crises and carrying out office automation. As a result, the system was absorbed into 'Governmental Document Regulations', 'Official Document Management Regulations' and 'Governmental Document Regulations'. In addition, 'government document classification scheme' and 'Record schedule' were unified into 'Official Document Classification and Record schedule'.

  • Box-office prediction is important to movie stakeholders. It is necessary to accurately predict box-office and select important variables. In this paper, we propose a multivariate time series classification and important variable selection method to improve accuracy of predicting the box-office. As a research method, we collected daily data from KOBIS and NAVER for South Korean movies, selected important variables using Random Forest and predicted multivariate time series using Deep Learning. Based on the Korean screen quota system, Deep Learning was used to compare the accuracy of box-office predictions on the 73rd day from movie release with the important variables and entire variables, and the results was tested whether they are statistically significant. As a Deep Learning model, Multi-Layer Perceptron, Fully Convolutional Neural Networks, and Residual Network were used. Among the Deep Learning models, the model using important variables and Residual Network had the highest prediction accuracy at 93%.

  • The pulsed photoangiolytic 532-nm potassium-titanyl-phosphate (KTP) laser has emerged in recent years as an efficacious treatment modality for vocal fold lesions. It also has broadened the indications for other laryngeal laser surgery. Features of KTP laser that it is a fiber-based delivery system and its energy is selectively absorbed by oxyhemoglobin make it suitable for office-based laryngeal procedures. An office-based KTP laser surgery provides an alternative management option for benign laryngeal diseases and can be performed comfortably under flexible endoscopic guidance which is placed through the nose of a fully awake patient. Office-based laryngeal surgery with a KTP laser can alleviate the need for general anesthesia. However, there are some limitations to apply due to reduced visual precision and the fact that the vocal folds are moving during procedures. Clinicians should carefully weigh the advantages and disadvantages of office-based procedures before a treatment option is selected. Patient selection and standardized laser energy parameters may help in decreasing complications and improving the treatment results.

  • The prediction of box office performance in performing arts institutions is an important issue in the performing arts industry and institutions. For this, traditional prediction methodology and data mining methodology using standardized data such as cast members, performance venues, and ticket prices have been proposed. However, although it is evident that audiences tend to seek out their intentions by the performance guide poster, few attempts were made to predict box office performance by analyzing poster images. Hence, the purpose of this study is to propose a deep learning application method that can predict box office success through performance-related poster images. Prediction was performed using deep learning algorithms such as Pure CNN, VGG-16, Inception-v3, and ResNet50 using poster images published on the KOPIS as learning data set. In addition, an ensemble with traditional regression analysis methodology was also attempted. As a result, it showed high discrimination performance exceeding 85% of box office prediction accuracy. This study is the first attempt to predict box office success using image data in the performing arts field, and the method proposed in this study can be applied to the areas of poster-based advertisements such as institutional promotions and corporate product advertisements.

  • Purpose: Health management programs should provide comprehensive health services for students and staffs at schools. Health management programs are critical for helping students become adults with physically, mentally, and socially good health conditions. The aim of this study was to identify the past and present history of health management programs and health laws to help schools develop future health plans. Methods: This study was conducted by analyzing reference data collected using data from Ministry of Education and Science Technology, Korean Educational Development Institute, Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and National Statistical Office as well as legal documents from the Legislative Office related to school health from 2001 to 2010. Results: Health management programs in schools included three sections: disease prevention and control, physical examinations, and prevention of communicable diseases. Disease prevention and controls consisted of obesity control, drug abuse prevention and control, and management of students' mental health. Various strategies and services were developed to improve health status of students for 10 years from 2001 to 2010. School health laws and systems have been established for disease prevention, physical examinations and communicable disease control as well, to improve students' health as well. Conclusion: The history of health management programs has a number of implications to help design future plans for school health programs and services for students and staffs.
