  • Spatial objects in the space II odd hale been changed bl eitber non-spiltial operations or spatial operations. For example, their states arc changed by the following operation: changing their owners, changing their owner's address, installing new constructions, changing precincts, splitting, and merging, The conventional geographic information system(GIS), however, did not also manage their histoncal information cecause it handles the snapshot image of spatial ohjects in the world. In this paper we therelore propose a spatiotemporal data model which is ahle to not un]y manage the historical information of spatial objects but also, support their historical intemlgation by extending a time dimension and a historical pointer for SDE(Spatial Database Engine) spatial data model. Finally, the proposed spatiotemporal data model using a layered time extension are going to contribute to manage the history of spatial objects in the world and retrieve them.

  • XML document repositary system(XDRS) should be able to manage vertical and horizontal versions of documents to store, update and manage XML documents without loss of information, However, most of existing XDRSs do not support a versioning method Although a few systems support versioning method. they only manage vertical versions of XML documents, While the vertical versioning preserves the update history of documents. the horizontal versioning branches a document to many other versions of documents so that users can easily create new documents from the original version and edit them to have different meanings. In this paper, we propose a new version numbering scheme to support both vertical and horizontal versioning efficiently. We also design a schema that supports versioning and preserves the paradigm of structure information.

  • In this study, a group of home bus system(HBS) is used to manage difference types of household appliances or many household appliance of the same type. The existing central controller is analyzed, and an independent control system is built to devise new methods to design the PC HBS. The newly designed system is installed in an air-conditioned building; the system can be monitored and controlled from a control room or from an office. By using the system, we can efficiently manage future energy needs and control large-scale integrated electronics and home automation system to an individual manage to build large is expected to contribute.

  • This study found that physical image affects behaviour of clothes, ready-to-wear satisfaction or dissatisfaction, weight control targeting the female university students. Results showed that people, who manage their appearance well, seeks esthetics and showing off, on the contrary, the person, who has not confidence of her body, pursues virtue. It was also found that people who have confidence in their body shape, and people who manage their appearance well are typically satisfied with ready-to-wear clothes, while people who are not satisfied with their appearance, do not like ready-to-wear clothes. People who are concerned with appearance and who manages their appearance well, are typically worried about obesity, and they manages their weight control carefully. However, people who have confidence in their bodies and who do not manage their weight do not pay attention to weight control. Consequently, fit was also found that people with more confidence tend to do more exercise and more frequently visit saunas. The less they don't satisfied with their body, the more fast, dietary treatment, or weight control with the other ways.

  • These days, in order to satisfy the complex and various demands of the customers, the telecommunication networks must provide rapid and flexible services, with the support of efficient service and network management systems. To satisfy these requirements, many objects for management have been released to manage network services and elements. But there are no efficient ways to manage these newly managed objects in object-oriented software. Therefore, we study several problems, when a subsystem using object-oriented technique is implemented. The first problem is that interface works between realized application programs using its technique. The second problem is that reusability of internal managed objects is difficult. In this paper, we will point out some problems and to solve these problems, we have proposed the Object Management System (OMS) architecture, which supports a transparent interface between object-oriented applications and the distributed data repositories. Also in order to manage efficient business objects stored in the different repositories, we suggest a method for integrating dynamic information resources in heterogeneous and distributed network environments. Finally, we applied OMS to TINA(Telecommunication Information Network Architecture) domain, implemented OMS, and verified it with SMV(Symbolic Model Verifier) which is model checking technology.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of fluid management in hemodialysis patients by describing how they manage fluid intake and what affects fluid management. Methods: Purposive sampling yielded 11 patients who have received hemodialysis for one year or longer in one general hospital. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analysed using Giorgi's phenomenological method. Data collection and analysis were performed concurrently. Results: The findings regarding how hemodialysis patients manage fluid intake were classified into four constituents: 'recognizing the need for fluid control', 'observing the status of fluid accumulation', 'controlling fluid intake and output', 'getting used to fluid management'. The factors that affect fluid management of hemodialysis patients were revealed as 'willpower', 'change in the mindset', 'support system', and 'emotional state'. Conclusion: The study results show that hemodialysis patients manage fluid intake through food and exercise as well as interpersonal relationships. These findings suggest that strategies in the development of nursing interventions for hemodialysis patients should be directed at assisting them in familiarization with fluid management based on an understanding of their sociocultural contexts.

  • Patients of mental disorder have more missing teeth than general population because of the difficulty of oral hygiene management. In addition, especially Down syndrome patients etc., congenital dental problems develop more frequently. Therefore, prosthetic rehabilitation treatments for missing teeth in mental disorder patients are required more urgently. In other words, a removable partial denture may be very difficult for such patients to wear and manage. So in this review article we reviewed implant therapeutic modes for mental disorder patients based on previous reports. It should be understood that implant treatments are not impossible for mental disorder patients, and if implants could be a good method that could provide them good quality care, so implant should be included in treatment plans before surgery. Before surgery it should be evaluated that patients ability to manage themselves their ability to manage themselves should be evaluated and also should be evaluated whether general anesthesia or sedative treatment is required for the treatment, and whether their cooperation is good enough.

  • Today, network is a fragile state in many threat attacks. Especially, the company serviced like internet or e-commerce is exposed to danger and targeted of attacker Therefore, it is realistic that the company use the security solution. It exist various security solution in our school network. For example, Firewall, IDS, VirusWall, VPN, etc. The administrator must manage various security solution. But it is inefficient. Therefore, we need the Management System to controll every security solution. In this paper, we deal with basic contents of security solution to manage the ESM and merits and demerits when use it. Also we suggest method that the Administrator can manage his network more efficiently and systematically by using the ESM in our school network.

  • In this paper, we propose a new XMDR-based data model to efficiently manage ontology schema structured in OWL format. The proposed model would be better equipped to manage the relationship between concepts, which is a problematic area in the existing MDR model. Moreover, we present an algorithm to manage ontology schema in the database. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, experiments were conducted to recreate OWL documents for the various expressive types of OWL ontology schema that are stored in the database. These experimental results demonstrated that the proposed model effectively managed the various types of OWL ontology schema.

  • Although Space Syntax is a well-known technique for spatial analysis, debates have taken place among some researchers because the Space Syntax discards geometric information as both shapes and sizes of spaces, and hence may cause some inconsistencies. Therefore, this study aims at developing methods to recognize and manage spatial shapes for more precise space syntax analysis. To reach this goal, this study employed both a graph theory and binary spatial partitioning (BSP) tree to recognize and manage spatial information. As a result, spatial shapes and sizes could be recognized by checking loops in graph converted from spatial shapes of built environment. Each spatial shape could be managed sequentially by BSP tree with hierarchical structure. Through such recognition and management processes, convex maps composed of the fattest and fewest convex spaces could be drawn. In conclusion, we hope that the methods developed here will be useful for urban planning to find appropriate purposes of spaces to satisfy the sustainability of built environment on the basis of the spatial and social relationships in urban spaces.
