Schedule management of construction work is important in order to complete construction projects within a given period of time. Many efforts have been made and many tools have been developed in order to manage construction projects by a smart device such as smart phones and smart pads. This research proposed a basic design to manage construction schedules via a smart device using Flash. The interactive and graphic property of Flash enables a field manager to manage schedules easily and efficiently. A basic structure was designed for a user to be able to make and change a schedule by touching the smart device's screen. And a prototype was implemented by Adobe Flash/Flex Builder, it is applied to a sample network in a smart phone.

Various project delivery methods have been utilized by owners over the years to maximize project performance. The design-build delivery method is being increasingly used due to the advantages it can offer to an engineering construction industry. Numerous studies have advocated the use of design/build over the traditional design/bid/build delivery approach. This study represents comprehensive analysis of 40 projects from the construction industry and shows that design/build method may not provide all the benefits to project performance. This study found timesaving was a definitive advantage of design/build project delivery, but the positive effects of cost changes was not convincing. Based on the results of the study, the project management expertise and experience of the contractor may have a greater impact on project performance outcomes than focusing on project delivery strategy only.

It is very important for weapon systems to manage the logistic support for the better combat readiness. Therefore, in this paper we review the issues of logistic support and suggest alternatives to effectively manage the logistic support for weapon systems by using performance based logistics, especially during operations and support phase.

As technologies are developed and systems are complicated, hazards embedded in the system are also increasing. proving safety and managing the safety is more scientific and organizational domain so that safety management system is pursuing to be active formation detecting the factors of hazard and managing them beyond passive-way. In the future, in order to establish and manage national safety management system, it is important to have effective system and manage it and also more important that all the people related to target system has to change their recognition and to play roles in it.

To supply the materials the right time, and the right place, it is required some information maintenance system to manage this procedure effectively. In this paper, we represent the standard products classification for EMU and the materials maintenance information system to manage the parts used EMU maintenance efficiently. The standard material classification is matched to G2B code made by the Supply Administration. The implemented material information system can perform various functions such as the inquiry of the number of stocks, the demand of the materials, and etc.

Culture contents are in our life with various parts. There are much try and research managing and keeping the culture contents with growing of information technique. Digital archive was proposed the technique that is able to distribute and manage the contents. This paper proposed the web based digital archive for culture contents. Each of archive were sorted art, architecture, science technology and etc, and made the structure that can total manage.

Community-based precision farming is a new concept of agricultural systems, which leads to organize groups of wise farmers and technology platforms in Japan. The wisdom farmers create a rational farming system to manage hierarchical variability: variability in farmers' community as well as variability of within-field and between-field. The technology platform develops and provides three key-technologies: mapping technology, variable-rate technology, and decision support systems available for rural constraints. Advancement of bio-production robots leads precision farming to the next level, where two technological innovations: how to produce and manage information-oriented fields and information-added products, can be attained.

In Cognitive Radio network, spectrum selection scheme is one of a important part to manage idle spectrums efficiently. However, in CR networks, they have to adopt time-varying channel availability to minimize the interference to primary users (PU), and be able to manage spectrum resources efficiently. In this paper, we proposed a modified PF scheduler which can be appropriate to schedule downlink CR users and channels, by considering the fairness and the throughput as well as the primary user characteristics of each channel.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the development direction for vendor management in plant construction. Therefore this research has proposed the integration management of vendor and information standardization. This research has proposed that plant industry association manage the basic information of vendor. And each company manage the performance evaluation of vendor's firm. Expecially, vendor management system should be developed by ISO information system.

It is important to manage an educational facility used by many students. The office of education has responsibility to manage public school facilities instead of most elementary, middle, and high schools. Some school or university outsources facility management and maintenance. An international school in Jeju is established by BTL (Build-Transfer-Lease) that includes construction and maintenance. This research objective is to analyze the case of facility management in the international school, and to provide improved method for school maintenance.
