Pointing out the reality of criticism done mostly on Carlyle s original structure and rhetoric in his Sartor Resartus, this research paper focuses on Carlyle s dualistic philosophy revealed in the work, limiting its focus mostly to the dualistic theme of descendentalism and transcendentalism. The essence of Caryle s descendentalism is his irony and satire on human civilization, not for criticism itself, like other satirists, but rather out of his deep, secret humanism behind his mask. Roughly the two objects of his social criticism in the contemporary, descendentalisitc world, are mechanism and materialism in a variety of new ideologies. To diagnose the Zeitgeist and disillusion man living in contemporary civilization, Carlyle in this work uses a very original metaphor, the clothes-symbol. According to Carlyle, human history and progress can be said to be originated from man s adventitious invention of clothes that was not for biological need or social decency, but for decoration, the instinct of which implies man s innate vanity and desire. Interestingly enough here, however, Carlyle uses the same metaphor of clothes for his vision of transcendence, the world of Everlasting Yea. Man is also God s apparel and Matter is that of Spirit. Carlyle s Everlasting Yea world stresses especially the two attitudes, belief in God and love of man, which have been recently jeopardized in the socalled descendentalistic world. But Carlyle s transcendental and religious vision in Sartor Resartus is, as critics also have agreed, a unique and mysterious vision as something different from orthodox Christianity or other Victorian ideologies, as more like an amalgamation among Calvinism, Romanticism, Platonism and German Idealism. All in all, reading Sartor Resartus is still a valuable experience of an idiosyncratically original vision along with his warning against dehumanizing forces lurking in the name of civilization and with his ultimate eulogy on man, proving descendentalism as just part of transcendentalism, although the reader from time to time can be embarrassed by his male-centered, politically conservative, and individual-oriented dynamism.

Social phobia is a symptom that is characterized as a feeling anxiety and fear in front of others in social situations. The patient of our hospital is 34-years-old man who has symptoms such as avoiding other people, being flushed of his face and trembling of his hands when he meets other person. Thus, he has been treated by applying acupuncture treatment, taking herb medicine, and Giungoroen & Kyungjapyungji of the oriental psychotherapy. In 3 months, his condition of this disease got improved. This case suggested one approach for the treatment of this disease and we consider that the oriental psychotherapy such as Giungoroen and Kyungjapyungji is useful in treatment of this disease.

According to the development of the economy and to the improvement in life quality, it is increased for the desire for the comfortable circumstance in the underground subway station. And recently, an accident, fire, suicide and so on have been risen. An advanced countries have introduced PSD, and they satisfies with the effect of PSD. The optimum design standard to set up PSD have to satisfy the by train wind beyond the maximum static pressure. This paper includes the maximum static pressure what can be applied to the PSD installation design.

One of the most important problems faced by software developers and users is the prediction of the size of programming system and its development effort. This article define the identical characteristics for structured specification which is consisted of Data Flow Diagram, Data Dictionary and Mini Specification and apply quantitative estimation factor of structured specification to program code metrics, Moreover, concerning DFD which is made up of component element of structured specification executed quantitative estimation experiment. In the result, we propose man/month prediction model of lower progression with production on analysis phase of upper progression.

The new piston prover was developed and the flow measurement uncertainty of this piston prover was evaluated according to ISO/IEC 17025. The laser interferometer was employed to measure accurately the testing time. Uncertainty was calculated with evaluation of various uncertainty factors affected in flow measurement. The expanded uncertainty(U) of the piston Over was $1.3{\times}10^{-3}$ (at the confidence level of $95\%$). This evaluation example will be useful in flow measurement uncertainty determination of other gas flow measurement system.
