포스트모던 사회의 패션에 표현된 옵아트 (Op-Art in Fashion of Post-Modern Society)

  • OP-Art was not appreciated by painters and art critics. and according1y has been forgotten in art history. But recently Op-Art is revitalized in fashion and is in its palmy days. This study intends to re-assess the value of Op-Art, by reviewing its influence on fashion design in the post-modern society To this purpose, conceptual characteristics of Op-Art was analyzed. And then, on the bases of these characteristics, the figural characteristics and the meaning of Op-Art in fashion design of post-modern society was re-explained. Op-Art is characterized as an art of flatness of picture plane which uses repetition of simple forms and colors. It is also based on trick of visual perception. Finally. it creates an impression which is flickering or vibrating by means of optical illusion. These characteristics give birth to some features such as simplicity. anonymity and mobility in the Op-Art fashion. The meanings of Op-Art in fashion design in post-modern society are as follows. First, repetition of simple units employed in Op-Art produces feeling of simplicity. which makes the Op-Art fashion works perceived as polysemy. In other words, the feeling of simplicity can be interpreted In diverse perspectives within the social context of our society. The material civilization and technology civilization, which causes the alienation and standardization of man. can be the backgrounds of the Op-Art fashion. Second, Op-Art is an art based on perspectives of spectators. Anonymity in the Op-Art fashion enhances participation of spectators. which gives Op-Art a sense of affinity. Third, through the feeling of mobility created by optical illusion techniques. the Op-Art fashion expresses the opposition to the ideal body image made by power group. In post-modern society, Op-Art in fashion gives new meaning to art. Op-Art in fashion proposes new roles of artist and spectators, and new concepts of art related with roles of human beings. Through general sensibility of men, Op-art in fashion can express new recognition of the post-modern society.

연소실 직접분사식 성층급기 가솔린기관 개발에 관한 연구 - 연료분사압력과 부하변동에 따른 연소특성 해석 - (A Study on Stratified Charge GDI Engine Development - Combustion Analysis according to the Variations of Injection Pressure and Load -)

  • In general, DI gasoline engine has the advantages of higher power output, higher thermal efficiency, higher EGR tolerance and lower emissions due to the operation characteristics of increased volumetric efficiency, compression ratio and ultra-lean combustion scheme. In order to apply the concept of stratified charge into direct injection gasoline engine, some kinds of methodologies have been adapted in various papers. In this study, a reflector was adapted around the injector nozzle to apply the concept of stratified charge combustion which leads the air-fuel mixture to be rich near spark plug. Therefore, the mixture near the spark plug is locally rich to ignite while the lean mixture is wholly introduced into the combustion chamber. The characteristics of combustion is analyzed with the variations of fuel injection pressure and load in a stratified -charge direct injection single cylinder gasoline engine. The obtained results are summarized as follows ; 1. The MBT spark timing approached to TDC with the increase of load on account of the increase of evaporation energy, but has little relation with fuel injection pressure. 2. The stratification effects are apparent with the increase of injection pressure. It is considered by the development of secondary diffusive combustion and the increase of heat release of same region, but proceed rapidly than diesel engine. Especially, in the case of high pressure injection (l70bar) and high load (3.0kgf m), the diffusive combustion parts are developed excessively and results in the decrease of peak pressure than in the case of middle load. 3. The index of engine stability, COVimep value, is drastically decreased with the increase of load. 4. To get better performance of DI gasoline engine development, staged optimizaion must be needed such as injection pressure, reflector, intake swirl, injection timing, chamber shape, ignition system and so on. In this study, the I50bar injection pressure is appeared as the optimum.

참여수학을 통한 수학교육 활성화를 위한 모델 개발 (The Development of a Model for Enhancement of Mathematics Education Using Participatory Mathematics)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학생들이 주어진 수학을 피동적으로 사용하는 기존의 입장을 넘어 수학적인 개념을 실생활에 적용하고 참여하는 수학적인 경험을 통하여 수학의 힘을 체험하도록 하는 모델을 적용하여 보다 발전된 모델을 만드는데 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 실생활에 적용할 수 있는 소재를 가지고 서울 시내 초등학교 6학년 2개 반을 선정하여 60차시의 수학 수업을 한 후 교사 및 학생들의 반응을 분석하였다. 처음에 학생들은 익숙하지 않은 수업의 방식에 쉽게 적응하지 못했으나 몇 차시의 수업을 하고 난 후에는 매우 적극적인 참여를 하였으며, 수학이 이상생활에 적용되고 수학이 생활을 바꾸어 나갈 수 있음을 체험하며 수학적인 힘을 경험하며 이를 흥미를 가지고 활발히 수학 학습에 임하였다. 이 모델은 전통적인 수업의 보완적인 학습으로 일반 학급에서도 한 학기에 몇 번이라도 적용하여 학생들로 하여금 단순히 주어진 수차의 연습에서 벗어나 보다 적극적인 참여자로 그리고 사회를 바꾸어 나가는데 수학을 사용하는 시민으로 살아가도록 할 필요가 있다.

섬광의 복사온도 측정 장치의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Implementation of a Radiative Temperature Measurement System for a Flash Light)

  • 섬광의 복사온도를 측정 할 수 있는 장치를 설계하고 제작하였다. 본 논문에서는 중 원적외선 영역에서 광원의 스펙트럼 복사휘도(spectral radiance)를 측정하여 두 영역의 복사휘도 비로부터 섬광의 복사온도를 구할 수 있는 장치를 설계 및 제작하였다. 중 원적외선 영역에서 파장에 따른 복사휘도를 측정하기 위하여 광학적 대역 투과필터로 입사광을 파장에 따라 분할하고 각각의 파장으로 분할된 광을 동시에 적외선 검출기로 검출하여 입력광의 파장에 따른 복사휘도를 측정하였다. 제작된 장비로 섬광의 온도를 측정한 결과 1393K와 1455K의 온도를 얻었다. 제작된 복사온도 측정 장치는 섬광의 광원 정보를 파악하는데 중요하게 활용될 수 있으며, 섬광의 효과를 위한 M&S에 활용될 수 있다.

InGaN/Sapphire LED에서 기판 제거 유무와 칩 마운트 타입이 광출력 특성에 미치는 영향 (Analysis of the Effect of the Substrate Removal and Chip-Mount Type on Light Output Characteristics in InGaN/Sapphire LEDs)

  • InGaN/Sapphire LED에서 기판 제거와 패키지 방식이 광출력 특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. Sapphire 기판의 제거는 반도체 접합에서 발생된 열의 방출에 도움이 되지만, 반대로 광추출효율이 손상되는 문제점이 수반된다. Sapphire 기판이 제거된 칩을 열전도율이 좋은 금속의 마운트 위에 부착하면, 최대 구동전류는 현저히 증가하고 광출력도 상당히 증가됨으로써, 광추출효율이 손상되는 문제점이 어느 정도 보상된다. 하지만, sapphire 기판이 제거된 칩을 상대적으로 열전도율이 낮은 유전체의 마운트 위에 부착하는 경우에는, 거의 모든 입력전류 범위에서 sapphire 기판이 남아 있는 일반형 칩보다 낮은 광출력을 나타낸다. 따라서, 작은 광출력이 요구되는 응용분야에서는 사용된 칩 마운트의 종류에 무관하게, 일반형 칩이 sapphire 기판이 제거된 칩 보다 유리한 것으로 분석된다.

Yield Performance and Nutritional Quality of 'Agakong' Soybean Harvested in Drained-Paddy and Upland Fields

  • The study was conducted to evaluate the performance of the popular isoflavone-rich soybean 'agakong' in upland and in drained-paddy fields. Analysis revealed no significant variation in terms of plant height, number of seeds per pod, number of nodes, and 100-seed weight between the two cropping system. Number of pods was significantly higher in paddy field(234.2kg 10a$^{-1}$) compared to those harvested in the upland field, which was later manifested on the yield where paddy soybeans obtained 278.1kg 10a$^{-1}$ whereas upland only obtained 179.3kg 10a$^{-1}$. This observed difference in yield was attributed to the observed higher amount of N in the paddy soil (0.907%) as compared to the upland soil (0.458%). In terms of nutritional content, protein and phytic acid contents were the only parameters that showed significant differences while oil, sugar, reducing power and fatty acids were all comparable in paddy and filed condition. Protein content was higher in upland soil (47.4%) than that of the paddy (44.9%) soil. On the opposite, phytic acid was higher in paddy (2.90%) than in upland (1.09%). This study showed that the yield of soybean is generally a factor of soil N, drained-paddy field production of soybean is comparable to upland-filed production with the benefit of increasing phytic acid content while maintaining its nutritional value.

과산화수소 적용 TIM의 LED 패키지 열특성 개선효과 (Improved Thermal Resistance of an LED Package Interfaced with an Epoxy Composite of Diamond Powder Suspended in H2O2)

  • 고출력 LED 소자의 활용이 많아지면서, 온도상승 문제를 극복하고 신뢰성을 향상해야 하는 요구가 높아짐에 따라 광원 패키지의 방열이 매우 중요해졌다. 패키지에 칩을 접합하는 열전달 물질(TIM, Thermal Interface Material)은 열전도도가 높은 물질과 폴리머를 혼합하여 재료 자체의 열전달 특성을 향상시키는 방안이 사용되어 왔으나, 실제 패키지의 열 특성은 칩 부착계면의 높은 열저항으로 인해 기대에 미치지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 diamond 분말과 epoxy의 혼합으로 열 특성을 개선함에 있어서, 과산화수소를 적용하면서도 기포를 효율적으로 제거하여, 각 계면의 친화성을 높이고 전체 점도를 낮추어 diamond 분말의 분산을 촉진하고, 결과적으로 대부분의 경우에 전체 열 저항을 약 30% 이상 개선하였다.

A Capillary Electrochromatographic Microchip Packed with Self-Assembly Colloidal Carboxylic Silica Beads

  • An electrochromatographic microchip with carboxyl-group-derivatized mono-disperse silica packing was prepared from the corresponding colloidal silica solution by utilizing capillary action and self-assembly behavior. The silica beads in water were primed by the capillary action toward the ends of cross-patterned microchannel on a cyclic olefinic copolymer (COC) substrate. Slow evaporation of water at the front of packing promoted the self-assembled packing of the beads. After thermally binding a cover plate on the chip substrate, reservoirs for sample solutions were fabricated at the ends of the microchannel. The packing at the entrances of the microchannel was silver coated to fix utilizing an electroless silver-plating technique to prevent the erosion of the packed structure caused by the sudden switching of a high voltage DC power source. The electrochromatographic behavior of the microchip was explored and compared to that of the microchip with bare silica packing in basic borate buffer. Electrophoretic migration of Rhodamine B was dominant in the microchip with the carboxyl-derivatized silica packing that resulted in a migration approximated twice as fast, while the reversible adsorption was dominant in the bare silica-packed microchip. Not only the faster migration rates of the negatively charged FITC-derivatives of amino acids but also the different migration due to the charge interaction at the packing surface were observed. The electrochromatographic characteristics were studied in detail and compared with those of the bare silica packed microchip in terms of the packing material, the separation potential, pH of the running buffer, and also the separation channel length.

여성건강과 성 (Women's Health and Sexuality)

  • The purpose of this study is to describe how what influence sexuality has on women's health. Sex is determined by the sex chromosome: but sociocultural norms have much influence on the sex role of a woman or man. Women's sexuality has had a negative impact on them in a male-dominated society, which destroyed women's health, put women in a powerless position and forced them to live as dependent persons. Sociocultural perception of the sex role has not been very open, and very strict rules have controlled those perceptions; but currently these perceptions have been changing dramatically. Especially, women's sex role has changed, bringing about many problems: the number of women engaging in premarital sex, the number of unwed mothers, the number of pregnancies without marriage, the divorce rate, and the number of dysfunctional families have all increased. Those kinds of problems have negative effects on women, children and members of the whole family. Sexually transmitted disease because of free sex is a serious health issue for women: the number of women with AIDS has increased rapidly. Another big issue is sexual abuse, which is insulting to women, decreases women's self-esteem, increases depression, puts women in a powerless position and eventually causes women to get sick. Male-preference (among newborns) ideology raises health issues for women, such as artificial abortion. In the area of sex differentiation, therefore, we have to change people's thinking from male-preference ideology to equal sex preference. Finally, we have to use a holistic approach for women's health and increase awareness of the fact that the sex role and women's health are very important for the family, society and nation. Women's health is the nation's power.
