Nuclear power plants (NPPs) will be highly connected network enabled systems in the future. Using the network and web enabled tools, NPPs will be remotely monitored by operators at any time from any place connected to the network via a general web browser. However, there will be two major issues associated with this implementation. The first is the security issue. Only the authorized persons need to be allowed to access the plant since NPP is a safety-critical system. However, the web technology is open to the public. The second is the network disturbance issue. If operators can not access the plant due to network disturbances, the plant will come into the out-of-control situation. Therefore, in this work, we performed a conceptual design of a web-based remote monitoring and control system (RMCS) considering these issues.

Laser heat source was used for automotive interior and exterior parts to reduce weights. Typically, 900's nm wavelength of laser has been widely used for polymer joining, however, the transmittance of the laser beam thorough clear polymers such as PMMA or PC has been an issue to overcome. To solve this issue, 1,940nm laser was applied on the clear polymer for the better absorption and 900nm laser beam was used for main laser for the joining. Conventional Gaussian or Elliptical heat source approximation has limitation in polymer which had deeper skin depth where major laser beam absorbs. To accurately simulate the physical laser beam absorption and joining optical properties were experimentally measured for the computer FEM simulation. The simulation results showed close correlation between theoretical and experimental results. The developed laser process is expected to increase productivity and gap closing which can cause failure of joining in laser material processing.

There are so many related policies to design and construct building mechanical system. Therefore, preferentially in this study, purposes and major contents of related laws are summarized briefly. Subsequently, some points at issue and ways to improve laws and codes for energy conservation are suggested. From the results of this study, some points at issue are as follows : (1) Inconvenience in the application due to dispersion of similar codes. (2) Lack of systems and tools to verify and to evaluate the effect of energy conservation by any policy (3) Lack of the incentive Policy for Participator to conserve of energy.

The aging of society is not only Korea's challenge but also a global issue. This leads to an increase in the number of elderly drivers who are much more prone to major traffic accidents. Therefore, we need a system to test aged drivers' driving abilities. As part of efforts to establish such a system, researchers of KoROAD. have conducted a study on the correlation between aging and driving abilities by analyzing old drivers' reaction time. The study shows that there was a sharp increase in reaction time for drivers aged 65 and over. The current reaction time of 2.5 secs for the 85 percent of eligible drivers needs to be revised upward in aging societies. From now on, we need to come up with the traffic safety measures that can deal with the issue of drivers of old age.

To have a complete and comprehensive understanding of the research subject and to form an integrated legal framework for it, I have sought comprehensively to cover the major written literature on the issue under consideration. I also benefitted from a wide range of research and academic studies pertaining to the same topic, although that literature did not specifically address the issue of consumer rights in electronic contracting in the Saudi e-commerce system. Rather, it addressed only the civil and criminal protection of the consumer in e-commerce. I have divided the reviewed literature into two sections according to the sources.

In recent years, the competition for employment among college students has become more intense. It is also the time when strong personal beliefs and will to develop careers are required for successful employment through stable major study. Therefore, in this study, we tried to find out the effect on major attitude and employment efficacy according to the level of aviation safety perception, which is an important issue in the aviation industry. For analysis, survey is conducted targeting college students majoring in aviation service who are enrolled in universities in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong area. To verify the hypotheses of the study, demographic characteristics are identified based on questionnaires, reliability and validity of measurement items are verified, and structural equation model analysis is performed to verify the hypotheses. The analysis results are as follows. First, it is found that safety knowledge and safety consciousness, which are sub-factors of aviation safety perception of college students majoring in aviation service, have a positive (+) effect on subject recognition, learning process recognition, and career recognition of major recognition. Second, subject recognition, learning process recognition, and career recognition, which are sub-factors of major recognition, are found to have a positive effect on major commitment. Third, it is found that major commitment have a positive (+) effect on employment efficacy. Based on the research results, practical support plans and strategies for effective major study and successful employment are presented.

빅데이터 관련 기술의 발전으로 공공 보건 분야 등을 필두로 데이터에 기반한 정책을 결정하는 체계적인 방법론에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 데이터를 기반으로 국가, 사회의 주요 이슈를 지능적으로 탐지하기 위해서 도메인 전문가와의 협업을 통해 이슈 탐지 모델을 개발하는 방법을 제안한다. 우선, '해외 발생 감염병 국내 유입' 이슈를 대상으로 이슈에 영향을 주는 요인을 도출하고, 영향 요인을 대표하는 변수 들을 설정한다. 다음으로 시스템 다이내믹스 기법을 이용하여 각 영향요인 간의 인과 분석을 통해 인과지도를 구성하여 영향력 높은 주요 요인들을 찾아낸다. 이 과정에서는 데이터 분석가와 감염병 도메인의 전문가와의 협업을 통해 실증적인 모델링을 진행한다. 이러한 도메인 지식 기반 이슈 탐지 모델을 기반으로 하여 상시 모니터링이 가능한 이슈 탐지 체계가 구축되면 더욱 효과적인 정책 의사 결정이 가능할 것이다.

시민성이 성숙 단계에 이르는 대학생들은 과학기술과 관련된 사회적 쟁점에서 시민 참여의 중요성을 인식하고, 시민의 권리와 책임을 의미 있게 활용할 수 있는 능력을 갖추고 있을 필요가 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 과학기술 시민 참여에 대한 대학생들의 인식과 실천역량에 대한 실태를 파악하기 위해 경기도에 위치한 D 대학교에 재학중인 예 체능 계열(33명), 인문 사회 계열(62명), 이공계열(67명)의 대학생들을 대상으로, 시민 참여 중심의 과학기술과 사회의 상호작용, 책임 있는 의사결정능력, 과학기술쟁점 효능감에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 과학기술과 사회의 상호작용에 대한 대학생들의 전반적인 인식 수준은 예 체능 계열, 인문 사회 계열, 이공계열의 순서로 높게 나타났지만, 그 점수가 모두 평균에 미치지 못하였다. 따라서 현재 대학생들은 전공 계열에 상관없이 과학기술과 사회의 관계에 대한 깊이 있는 이해가 부족한 상태임을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 과학기술과 사회 간의 관계에서 시민 참여에 대한 대학생들의 인식도 전공 계열에 상관없이 전체적으로 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 책임 있는 의사결정능력에서 대학생들은 개인의 신념과 공동체의 복지를 고려하여 최선의 대안을 선택하고, 실천 전략을 수립하는데 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 과학기술쟁점 효능감에서 과학기술관련 지식과 기능 및 행위 능력에 대한 대학생들의 자신감도 전공계열에 상관없이 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

Purpose - This study investigates the determinants that affect the number of IT Incident tickets of an IT Service Provider ("ITSP") to logistics industry in order to improve its management process by reducing the incident tickets. Research design, data, and Methodology - This study uses weekly data of IT incident tickets from September 2012 to June 2015. Correlation and regression analyses are conducted. Six identified determinants i.e., IT Change, User Errors, Shipment Volume, Network, Hardware and Software Issues are used as the explanatory variables. Results - Our findings show as following. First, our analysis indicates that IT Change is not a significant determinant as opposed to what commonly believed by many as the most important factor. Second, Software issue is the highest contributor to the Major IT incident tickets, followed by User Error, Network and Hardware issues. Third, it seems there is lead-lag relationship between IT Change and Major IT Incidents tickets as indicated by earlier studies. Fourth, the relationship between IT Change and Major IT tickets is also affected by shipment volume. Conclusions - As policy recommendation, all identified determinants should be treated according to priority. In addition, improving the way IT Changes are implemented will definitely reduce the IT incident tickets.

We proposed eight dimensions and their constituents of product advantage in the last issue. In this study, using the dimensions and constituents, gap analyses are conducted on some product categories(; desktop computer, PCS terminal, and washing machine) in order to know what dimensions or constituents are major areas to be improved. For the purpose of strategic use of the dimensions of product advantage, Kano analyses are also applied. Based on the results of the gap analyses and Kano analyses, the future directions of new products development for the selected products are suggested.
