Recently, many researches have been conducted to develop 3D Indoor/Outdoor Spatial Data Models. The 3D data created based on these data models have complex data structures. In order to manage these data efficiently, it is better to use a DBMS. There have been many researches to maintain the 3D data in Geo-DBMS, such that Oosterom (2002) and Arens (2005) developed a method to store 3D Building model, geometric and topological data of coverage in DBMSa. In this study, we propose a method to store the CityGML data into the RDBMS, Oracle Spatial 11g.
A game engine should have the architecture that can manage various interactions between entities in a game for offering users various game experience. For this purpose, the game engine architecture based on message system is used. But only by this message based system, it is difficult to change game world continuously according to some storylines. The reason of this is event-driven system like message based system is appropriate for processing individual message but is not appropriate for processing more bigger logical work unit. For this purpose this paper proposes the storyline entity. The storyline entity has logical flows for a storyline and is called by engine continuously. By this proposed game engine architecture he or she can maintain free game experience by message based system and can add some progressing of storylines.
Metropolitan rapid transit system plays an essential role in the public transportation system of any large city, and its managing agency is usually charged with the responsibility of storing and managing the design drawings of the system. The drawings are important and historically valuable documents that must be kept permanently because they contain comprehensive data that is used to manage and maintain the system. However, no study has been performed in Korea on how well agencies are preserving and managing these records. Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation(SMRT) is the managing agency established by the city of Seoul to operate subway lines 5, 6, 7, and 8 more efficiently to serve its citizens. By the Act on Records Management in Public Institutions(ARMPI), SMRT should establish a records center to manage its records. Furthermore, all drawings produced by SMRT and other third party entities should be in compliance with the Act. However, SMRT, as a form of local public corporation, can establish a records center by its own way. Accordingly, the National Archives & Records Service(NARS) has very little control over SMRT. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to research and analyze the present state of storage and management of the drawings of metropolitan rapid transit in SMRT and is to find a desirable method of preservation and management for drawings of metropolitan rapid transit. In the process of the study, it was found that a records center is being considered to manage only general official documents and not to manage the drawings as required by ARMPI. SMRT does not have a records center, and the environment of management on the drawings is very poor. Although there is a plan to develop a new management system for the drawings, it will be non-compliant of ARMPI. What's happening at SMRT does not reflect the state of all other cities' metropolitan rapid transit records management systems, but the state of creation of records center of local public corporation is the almost same state as SMRT. There should be continuous education and many studies conducted in order to manage the drawings of metropolitan rapid transit efficiently by records management system. This study proposes a records center based on both professional records centers and union records centers. Although metropolitan rapid transit is constructed and managed by each local public corporation, the overall characteristics and processes of metropolitan rapid transit projects are similar in nature. In consideration of huge quantity, complexity and specialty of drawings produced and used during construction and operation of metropolitan rapid transit, and overlap of each local public corporation's effort and cost of the storage and management of the drawings, they need to be managed in a professional and united way. As an example of professional records center, there is the National Personnel Records Center(NPRC) in St. Louis, Missouri. NPRC is one of the National Archives and Records Administration's largest operations and a central repository of personnel-related records on former and present federal employees and the military. It provides extensive information to government agencies, military veterans, former federal employees, family members, as well as researchers and historians. As an example of union records center, there is the Chinese Union Dangansil. It was established by several institutions and organizations, so united management of records can be performed and human efforts and facilities can be saved. We should establish a professional and united records center which manages drawings of metropolitan rapid transit and provides service to researchers and the public as well as members of the related institutions. This study can be an impetus to improve interest on management of not only drawings of metropolitan rapid transit but also drawings of various public facilities.
All measures related to the safety of the casino facilities guarantee safety of facilities that are targets of security guards, protect lives and properties, minimize risks of artificial and natural disaster and crimes. To resolve these social issues, casinos have adopted limited entrance system. To support this system, new forms of machine security systems such as video automatic recognition system of fingerprint pattern recognition system should be adopted too. In addition, security guards in casino facilities need to instill themselves with a sense of ownership as well as a strong sense of mission to do the best for customer security and to protect the company assets and employees and manage accidents that could occur without notice. Security guards should do their best to enable manage accidents that could occur without notice. Security guards should do their best to enable tourists who are on the rise due to increase in advanced country-style tourism and leisurely activities to get the utmost satisfaction from the casinos, and as a leader of private security company, establish the foundation for security based on the characteristics of security in Korea.

Recently the dramatical development of domestic spatial information technology and the successful construction of Korea NGIS(Nation Geographic Information System) have been the foundation of the scientific national territory utilization and management. However, there still exists the original problems to construct the thematic maps for supporting the various administrative services because administrative officials tend to depend on paper maps and inventories to generate spatial information, process, upgrade and manage. In this situation, there is a greater need to develop GIS system for the effective construction of various thematic maps. In this study, the satellite image based high accurate e-thematic construction and management system was developed to support the forest administrative service such as generating user based forest thematic maps, modifying them, analyzing and outputting through GIS, GPS and satellite images. For the case study, the previous forest paper map of Jeju Island was converted in format of raster and vector data using satellite images to maintain more exact location information so that this system helps to manage domestic spatial information scientifically and effectively within shorter time then support the standard for domestic spatial information. Moreover, this system plays the role of DSS(Decision Supporting System) for forest administrative affairs by integrating the attribute data, managing the GPS data and linking the multimedia data. For this, the additional main objective of this study was acquired powerful GIS component, which is called as e-mapping component, so that it could be regarded as enabling interoperability and reusability within this application. For the future works, the essential element idea and technology in this study could be applied very usefully to other official works such as constructing thematic maps and supporting the desired affairs.

Rapid urbanization is being portrayed around the world au causing difficulty to manage public hygiene and maintain public order. Common problems often detected in urban areas including traffic congestion and the deterioration of the ecological environment are also being exacerbated. Despite all the effort being made by the government and local governments to manage urban facilities, urban residents are subjected to various levels of difficulty, due to the number of facilities to be managed exceeding the number of management personnel and the lack of an adequate management system. The aim of this study is to propose a management method using smart phones to improve the maintenance efficiency of urban facilities. First, the one-stop maintenance of urban facilities, including facilities information management, maintenance management and history management, is made possible by using smart phones to collect and transfer pictures and the locations of the urban facilities. Second, maintenance management is based on the location and picture information of the subject, not the location of the smart phones, which enables a prompt understanding of and actions to be taken for the facility. This method is especially effective as the smart phone application sends the facility status information directly to the maintenance personnel. Third, all of the information and figures relating to the facilities is managed using a database, resulting in the easy utilization of the history management and data. Fourth, all of the urban residents have access to this information via smart phone applications and, therefore, expanding the role of the facility maintenance personnel is made possible without any additional investment in infrastructure. Lastly, the location-based information enables the management of roads, trees and trails.

In order to drive a hybrid propulsion device which combines an engine and an electric propulsion unit, battery packs that contain dozens of unit cells consisting of a lithium-based battery are used to maintain the power source. Therefore, it is necessary to more strictly manage a number of battery cells at any given time. In order to manage battery cells, generally voltage, current, and temperature data under load condition are monitored from a personal computer. Other important elements required to analyze the condition of the battery are the internal resistances that are used to judge its state-of-health (SOH) and the open-circuit voltage (OCV) that is used to check the battery charging state. However, in principle, the internal resistances cannot be measured during operation because the parallel equivalent circuit is composed of internal loss resistances and capacitance. In most energy storage systems, battery management system (BMS) operations are carried out by using data such as voltage, current, and temperature. However, during operation, in the case of unexpected battery cell failure, the output voltage of the power supply can be changed and propulsion of the hybrid vehicle and vessel can be difficult. This paper covers the implementation of a high safety battery management system (HSBMS) that can estimate the OCV while the device is being driven. If a battery cell fails unexpectedly, a DC power supply with lithium iron phosphate can keep providing the load with a constant output voltage using the remainder of the batteries, and it is also possible to estimate the internal resistance.

In Korea, safety accidents are continuously occurring due to the aging of underground facilities and lack of systematic management. Moreover, although the underground space is continuously being developed, the current status information is not clearly recorded and managed, so there is a limit to the systematic management of underground facilities. Therefore, this study developed an augmented reality-based system that can effectively maintain and manage underground facilities that are difficult to manage because they are located underground. In order to develop an augmented reality-based underground facility management system, three essential requirements, 'precise localization', 'use of BIM information', and 'ensure usability' were derived and reflected in the system. By utilizing Broadcast-RTK, the positional precision was secured to cm level, and the configuration and attribute information of the BIM was converted into the IFC format to construct a system that could be implemented in augmented reality. It developed an application that can optimize usability. Finally, through simulation, the configuration and attribute information of structures and mechanical systems constituting underground facilities were implemented in augmented reality. In addition, it was confirmed that the accurate and highly consistent augmented reality system works even in harsh environment (near high-rise building).

This study reviews the scientific management theories and discusses those theories within the food service industry. By providing the principles and the practical implications of the theories on the food service industry, this study tries to identify their philosophies and usefulness to the industry so that the managers in the industry use them in their dylmanic operations. In the fastly changing modern globalized world, we now face a situation where it's becoming more and more difficult to mange a restaurant business. In order to build a food industry business that can maintain a continuous development in today's business environment, one will have to apply the professional management theory in a cost-reduce strategy. It is more important though to have managers, organization members, in short, any person who can work to be motivated in accomplishing these two major issues-income increase and cost reduction. In this erawhere it's getting so difficult for researches on possible strategies for these business managers to overcome their difficulties. It is for certain that in the upcoming second millenium the travel and tourism industry will be one of the world's biggest industry worldwide. Korea's hotel industry has developed since the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and has shown great amount of competition within the same business. Thus managers have become acquainted with the "know-how" strategy and the practical and scientific managemnet theories were introduced. This helped not only to increase income but also to maximize profit. However, rather than concentration on the "Hard-ware" aspect "Soft-ware" related professional management strategies were developed along with professionalism and human service were emphazied. As such, the actual cost of food and beverages are for the hotel industry business managers the biggest shortterm expense item. Due to the natural state of food items, there is a great chance of "Loss" in preservance, and this is the reason it is complicated to effectively maintain food. As a consequence, very often, the failure to managea hotel or restaurant depends on the capability of the food and beverage preservance mangement: on how they are able to manage effectively the original price of food and beverage. Finally, the main problem of the original price management of food and beverage in Korean hotels are: a) No fixation of set price b) The difficulty to calculate the price difference between a set price and an original price. c) Lack of professinalism in managing the food and beverage original price. d) Lack of perception of the highest ranking management personnels. Most of the North Korean defectors are the socially disadvantaged, and formed the lowest class in South Korean society. Their main objectives are to achieve economic wealth. In this process, North Korean defectors have often committed the crime or have been criminal victims. The purpose of this study was to propose the effective preventive measures after analyzing the actual situation of North Korean defectors in criminal behaviors and criminal damages. This research has studied of the literature on the criminal behavior and the criminal damage by North Korean defectors, utilized the relevant statistical data, cited the news for the relevant cases, and proposed the effective preventive measures of criminal behaviors and criminal damages of North Korean defectors by doing in-depth interviews with personal protection officer First, in order to prevent criminal activity by North Korean defectors, we should uplift the identity as the members of Korean society, systemize the initial adapt education, enlarge the employment protection and the resettlement helper system, manage North Korean defectors according to adaptive type, develop the network, establish the management department for the defectors, strengthen the training of prison inmates, and strengthen the management of unprotected people. Next, in order to prevent the criminal damages of North Korean refugees, we should manage vulnerable North Korean defectors effectively, maintain the liaison between the personal protection officer and North Korean defector, arrange the personal safety measures in advance when traveling abroad, enhance the legal education for usual living in Korean society, and perform the re-education for the female socialization.
