FPL형광램프 대체형 LED램프의 조도특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optical Characteristics of LED Lamp as Alternative Type of FPL Lamp)

  • As lamps using LEDs are developed actively, also there have been large request for LED lamps that can replace traditional lamps like fluorescent lamps and metal halide lamps. But so far there are no proper standards that manufacturer can use and test their lamps. As a result of this, manufacturers are not only unable to develop LED lamps but also sell it even though they have technology. In this study, It is proposed that proper test method by investigating compatibility between all-type control gear and LED lamps by analyzing control gear for fluorescent lamp such as magnetic or electronic ballast that is currently used in the market.

Vibration control of mechanical systems using semi-active MR-damper

  • The concept of structural vibration control is to absorb vibration energy of the structure by introducing auxiliary devices. Various types of structural vibration control theories and devices have been recently developed and introduced into mechanical systems. One of such devices is damper employing controllable fluids such as ElectroRheological (ER) or MagnetoRheological (MR) fluids. MagnetoRheological (MR) materials are suspensions of fine magnetizable ferromagnetic particles in a non-magnetic medium exhibiting controllable rheological behaviour in the presence of an applied magnetic field. This paper presents the modelling of an MRfluid damper. The damper model is developed based on Newtonian shear flow and Bingham plastic shear flow models. The geometric parameters are varied to get the optimised damper characteristics. The numerical analysis is carried out to estimate the damping coefficient and damping force. The analytical results are compared with the experimental results. The results confirm that MR damper is one of the most promising new semi-active devices for structural vibration control.

Posterior Shoulder Instability in the Patients with Bilateral Congenital Absence of Long Head of Biceps Tendon: A Case Report

  • Rare cases of a congenital absence of the long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT) have been reported, and its incidence is unknown. In a literature review of the congenital absence of the LHBT, only 1 case was associated with posterior shoulder instability and severe posterior glenoid dysplasia. This paper reports the first case of a patient with a bilateral congenital absence of the LHBT with posterior shoulder instability without glenoid dysplasia or posterior glenoid tilt. The patient experienced a traffic accident while holding the gear stick with his right hand. After the accident, a posteroinferior labral tear with paralabral cysts was detected on the magnetic resonance images. The congenital absence of the LHBT was assumed to have affected the posterior instability that possibly increased the susceptibility to a subsequent traumatic posterior inferior labral tear. This case was identified as a posterior inferior tear caused by a traumatic 'gear stick injury'.

마그네틱 기어의 토크리플 개선을 위한 폴피스 형상 연구 (An Study on Pole Piece Shape for Improving Torque Ripple of Magnetic Gears)

  • 마그네틱 기어는 기계적인 접촉 없이 회전 기계의 입력측과 출력측이 자기적으로 결합되어 동력을 전달한다. 마그네틱 기어는 내측회전자, 외측회전자, 폴피스로 구성되어 있으며, 동력전달 시 두 회전체와 폴피스 사이의 자기저항 차이로 토크리플이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 토크리플은 회전기계의 소음과 진동의 원인이 되기 때문에 최소화하는 방안이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 토크리플 저감 방안으로 폴피스의 각진 모서리를 깎아 필렛을 적용한 형상을 제안하였다. 2D 유한요소해석법을 활용하여 필렛 파라미터 변화에 따른 마그네틱 기어의 토크리플을 비교 및 분석하고 토크리플이 우수한 폴피스 형상을 모색하였다.

주낙 어구의 자동화 -전자식 낚시 분리장치에 관한 연구- I- (Automation of Longline -Magnetic Splitting Machine for Hooks- I-)

  • 현재 주낙 어업은 주로 수동식 조업에 의존하고 있어서 많은 인력과 시간을 소비하고, 어업생산성이 낮은 실정으로 어구의 자동화가 절실히 요망된다. 본 실험에서는 양승과정을 자동화시키기 위해서 전자석을 사용한 낚시 분리 장치(hook separator)를 제작하고, 명태 낚시와 광어 낚시로 구성한 주낙어구에 대하여 낚시 분리성능을 실험하여 양호한 결과를 얻었으며, 아울러 양승속도에 따른 자속밀도와 분리율의 관계를 고찰하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 낚시 분리 장치의 분리율은 양승속도가 24m/min일 때 482gauss의 자속밀도에서 명태 낚시가 $94.2\%$, 광어 낚시가 $96.2\%$였다. 2. 모릿줄과 아릿줄의 엉킴에 의한 낚시의 탈락은 평균 $6\%$ 정도였고, 양승속도가 증가될수록 자속밀도가 낮을수록 증가되었다. 3. 양승속도가 증가됨에 따라 낚시 분리에 필요한 자속밀도도 증가하였다. 엉킴에 의한 탈락을 제외할 때 양승속도(V)와 자속밀도(M.F.D)와의 관계는 $M.F.D={\alpha}V^{\beta}+{\gamma}$로 표현되었다. 여기서 ${\alpha}=0.5,\;{\beta}=2,\;{\gamma}=225$(명태 낚시), 210(광어 낚시)였다.

In-wheel Motor Design for an Electric Scooter

  • The aim of this paper is to provide an optimal design of in-wheel motor for an electric scooter (E-scooter) considering economical production. The preliminary development in-wheel motor, which has a direct-driven outer rotor type attached to the E-scooter's rear wheel without any gear, is introduced first. The objective of the optimal design of this in-wheel motor is to improve the output characteristics of the motor and to have a stator form to facilitate automatic winding. Response surface methodology was used for the optimal design and 2-dimensional finite element method was used for electro-magnetic field analysis. Experimental results showed that the designed and fabricated in-wheel motor could satisfy the required specifications in terms of speed, power, efficiency, and cogging torque.

자동조타로써 항행하는 선박의 추진 에너지 손실량 평가법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction Method of Propulsive Energy Loss Related to Automatic Steering of Ships)

  • When an automatic course keeping is introduced, as is quite popular in modern navigation, the closed-loop control system consists of autopilot device, power unit, steering gear, ship dynamics, and magnetic or gyrocompass. We derive mathematical models of each element of the automatic steering system. We provide a method of theoretical analysis on the propulsive energy loss related to automatic steering of ships in the open seas, taking account of the on-off(non-linear) characteristics of power unit. Also we paid attention to non-linear element installed in autopilot device, which is normally called weather adjuster. Next we make numerical calculation of the effects of autopilot control constants on the propulsive energy loss for two kinds of ship, a fishing boat and an ore carrier. Realistic sea and wind disturbances are employed in the calculation.

  • Because linear motor directly drives linear motion, it does not need conversion equipment such as belt and gear. Especially linear pulse motor provide more precise positioning and large force of linear pulse motors. As current manufacture technic of linear pulse motor is much to be desired at home. This motor lay out to make use of computer aided design program, In this paper the experimental motor is 2-phases 4-poles hybrid pulse motor which has teeth per pole Simulation program is divided its function into 4 parts - air gap permeance analysis, permanent magnet & non-linear core operating point determine, winding configuration, leakage flux analysis. It is possible to make motor static and magnetic characteristics for this simulation program. Also, by varying input parameters of the program, experimental motor is to be compared to motor characteristics.

세관 내 R-22 의 증발 전열 특성에 관한 연구 (Evaporating heat transfer characteristics of R-22 in small diameter tubes)

  • Evaporating heat transfer characteristics of R-22 were measured inside smooth horizontal copper tubes with inner diameters of 3.36 mm and 5.35 mm respectively. The experiments were conducted in the closed loop which was driven by a magnetic gear pump. Experiments were performed for the following range of variables ; mass velocity of refrigerants (200 to 400 $kg/m^2$ .s) saturation temperature ($0^{\circ}C, \; 5^{\circC$}) and quality (0 to 1.0) The main results obtained are as follows : Evaporating heat transfer coefficients in the small diameter tubes (ID<7 mm) were observed to be strongly affected by a variety of diameters and to differ from those in the large diameter tubes. The heat transfer coefficients of the small diameter tubes are higher than those of the large diameter tubes. Comparing the heat transfer coefficients between experimental results and some well-known previous predictions (Shah's correlation Gungor-Winterton's and Kandlikar's correlation) it was very difficult to apply those to small diameter tubes.
