가동자석형 LDM의 제작 및 정특성 해석 (Design and Static Characteristic Exeperiment of a Moving Magnet Type LDM)

  • In the industrial field the necessity of the linear motion is increasing. We selected a moving magnet coreless type LDM, which have the advantages, such as long stoke, brushless, no cogging force. Actually, the design is accomplished using FEM analysis for the basic configuration of a magnetic circuit, and characteristic equations for coil design. In the course of design, we have estimated airgap flux density and thrust. We fabricated coreless type LDM and experimented static test. We compared measurement values with FEM analysis values.

  • The lift and drag forces on various magnet moving with a velocity is developed above a closed loop coil. These forces are affect by resistance and inductance of circuit, velocity of magnet. To obtain strong magnetic flux density, the magnet is replaced by Halbach array. This paper presents analysis of force between linear motion Halbach array and a closed loop having the constant resistance and inductance as a various speed.

  • The paper is described about the statatic and dynamic characteristics analysis of Transverse Swithed Reluctance Motor(TSRM). To investigate the nonlinearity of magnetic circuit, parameters of the modeling are computed by the finite element method as functions of input current and angular displacement. The current, torque, back EMF and output power wave of TSRM are simulated from the motion equation by MATLAB/Simulink.

  • The 4-poles LHSM with transverse bar track was designed on the base of the performance equations and the equivalent circuit model. However, the magnetic shape factors, such as Carter's and Green's coefficients, $B_{min}/B_{max}$ and leakage factors, were important in the design and analysis of LHSM. Consequently, these coefficients were computed from the analytical expressions and examined from FEM analysis in detail.

  • Disk type single-phase switched reluctance motor which has an advantage of simple robust construction, simple control circuity, and low manufacturing cost has a specific property of axial flux machine and radial flux machine simultaneously. So, this DSPSRM has a complicated magnetic circuit and it is difficult to analyze characteristics of DSPSRM for design. In this paper, we used to analyze the effects of radial flux and axial flux simultaneously by 3D-finite element method. From the results of 3-D FEM, we obtained the approximated torque characteristics of DSPSRM. It's analysis results can be used in optimal design of DSPSRM considering the saturation.

  • This paper presents the reasonable design parameters of a switched reluctance motor to drive a hybrid electric vehicle by using the equivalent magnetic circuit method. The designed motor can be redesigned by using finite element analysis as a variation of the parameter for the purpose of improving performance. This paper shows that a flat-topped current of a phase can be made from a change of the lamination stack length for high average torque and a lower torque ripple. The change of current falling time as a variation of turn-off angle was shown by finite element analysis. The core loss and copper loss were described. The torque of the redesigned motor is suitable for low and high speed ranges to drive a HEV. which is verified by the speed-torque curve.

  • This paper presents a charcteristcic analysis switched reluctance motor (SRM) considering hard chopping and DC link voltage ripple by using time-stepped voltage source finite element method in which the magnetic field is combined with drive circuit. We also examine the influence of freewheeling diodes and DC link voltage ripple on the performance of the SRM such as torque ripples and radial force on the surface of the teeth The freewheeling diodes and DC link voltage ripples must be taken into account in predicted the performance of SRM

  • Superconducting transmission power cable is one of interesting parts in power application using high temperature superconducting wire. One of important parameters in high-temperature superconducting (HTSC) cable design is transport current distribution because it is related with current transmission capacity and ac loss. In this paper, the transport current and magnetic field distributions at conducting layers were investigated through the analysis of the equivalent circuit for HTSC power cable with shield layer. The transport current distribution due to the pitch length and winding direction was improved in case of HTSC power cable with shield layer.

  • Recently, the Single phase SRM has been researched and developed in many appliances with various types. This paper presents a theoretical representation of the phase inductance of a single phase SRM, as function of position and current, taking into account the non-linearity of the magnetic circuit. The method is based on the Fourier series expansion. the theoretical expressions for the calculation of instantaneous phase inductance, flux linkage, coenergy and electromagnetic torque as a function of rotor position and winding currents are derived. And it is compared with the results of the finite element analysis.

  • The claw-pole PM(Permanent Magnet) stepping motor has the advantage of the positioning machine because of a relatively little step angle, facility of control, and detent torque characteristics. Although the research about this motor has been progressed, it was difficult to analyze because of three-dimensional magnetic circuit. This paper proposed a design method of the claw-pole PM stepping motor using 3D-FEA. We established design variables that have an important effect upon the characteristics of the motor, and then peformed analysis of the static and the dynamic characteristics. We also manufactured the test products and practiced the performance tests for verification of the analysis results.
