Single Sensor를 이용한 3상 슬롯리스 PM BLDC 전동기의 속도제어 (Speed Control of Three Phase Slotless PM BLDC Motor Using Single Sensor)

  • 슬롯리스 PM BLDC 전동기는 고속도, 고출력의 특징을 가지고 있어서 산업 및 공장자동화 기기분야에서 폭넓게 사용되고 있다. PM BLDC 전동기를 구동하려면 회전자 위치를 검출하는 센서가 필수적으로 요구된다. 홀 센서는 회전자의 위치를 판별하기 위한 것으로서 3상 PM BLDC 전동기의 경우 3개의 센서를 이용하는 것이 일반적인 방법으로 사용되어지고 있다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 기존의 회전자 위치 검출 시 1개의 홀 센서를 사용하여 기존의 방법과 동일한 성능을 가질 수 있음을 증명하였다. 그 결과 기존의 방법과 동일한 성능을 갖으며 저가격, 보호회로의 역할, 회로의 부피 감소의 효과를 얻을 수 있었으며 이를 시뮬레이션과 실험으로 증명하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 차축의 회전에 따른 자속밀도의 변화를 감지하여 속도를 검출하는 능동형 차륜 속도센서를 제작 및 실험하였다. 제작된 센서는 능동형 차속센서로서 홀 센서, 외장형 magnet와 케이블 연결부를 하우징한 모형 구조로 제작 실험하였다. 기존의 차속센서 부품의 특성을 분석하여 시제품과 비교하였다. 본 연구에서 제작된 차속센서는 12Km/h 이하의 최소감지스피드, $80^{\circ}C$ 이하의 작동온도, 49%~51%의 듀티사이클 동작 특성을 보였다.

저온초전도전원장치의 시스템 특성해석 및 요소실험 (Characteristic Analysis and Experiments on Components of Low-Tc Power Supply)

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis and experiments on components of low-Tc(LTS) power supply. A LTS power supply consists of two exciters, a rotor, a stator, and an LTS magnet. The power supply has eight rotating poles, which make rotational magnetic flux. These flux penetrate superconducting sheets and cause currents which charge an LTS load. In this experiment, a 25.8mH LTS magnet was used, and rotor revolutions from 30 to 300rpm were used. In order to measure the pumping-current with respect to the magnet flux changes, a hall sensor was installed at the center of the LTS magnet. The experimental observations have been compared with the theoretical predictions. In this experiment, the pumping-current has reached about 372A.

홀센서 집게형 맥진기 요골동맥파에 FFT를 적용한 호흡수 추출 연구 (Extraction of Respiratory Rate by using FFT for Radial Artery Pulse Waves Acquisited by Clip-type Pulsimeter with a Hall Sensor)

  • 영구자석과 반도체 홀센서가 구비된 집게형 맥진기로 얻은 맥진파형에 고속 푸리에변환(FFT)을 적용하여 생체신호인 호흡수를 추출하였다. 추출된 호흡수는 맥진파형의 형태가 항상 변화하는 요인에 의존하는 심장의 운동에 대한 오차까지 고려하였다. 인위적인 호흡수 템포 15, 20, 30, 40, 50에 각각 측정한 맥진파형의 FFT 스펙트럼에서 피크값과 일치하는 주파수 0.125 Hz, 0.16 Hz, 0.25 Hz, 0.33 Hz, 0.41 Hz와 일치하였다. 100 s, 200 s, 300 s 동안 얻은 맥진파형 데이터에서 호흡성분 추출 알고리즘을 적용한 결과, 시간이 긴 300 s에서 FFT 스펙트럼 피크가 가장 크게 뾰쪽해지는 결과를 얻었다. 집게형 맥진기가 인체의 물리적인 영향을 주는 호흡수를 추출해 내는데 유용한 기기임을 확인하였다.

  • This paper deals with charging and persistent-current mode operating characteristics of BSCCO magnet load using high-temperature superconducting (HTS) power supply. The HTS power supply consists of two heater-triggered switches, an iron-core transformer with the primary copper winding and the secondary BSCCO solenoid, and a BSCCO magnet load. The magnet load was fabricated by double pancake winding and its inductance is about 21 mH. A hall sensor was installed at the middle of the magnet load to measure the current in the load. In order to investigate the efficient pumping characteristics, operating tests of heater-triggered switch with respect to dc heater current were carried out, and the electromagnet current was determined by considering saturation characteristics of its iron core. The saturation characteristics of charged current in the magnet load were observed with respect to various pumping periods: 12 s, 14 s, 24 s and 32 s. After charging the magnet load, the persistent current was measured. The operating characteristics of the persistent current mode were mainly determined by joint resistance and magnet load.

  • In this paper, we present a global localization and position error compensation method in a known indoor environment using magnet hall sensors. In previous our researches, it was possible to compensate the pose errors of $x_e$, $y_e$, ${\theta}_e$ correctly on the surface of indoor environment with magnets sets by regularly arrange the magnets sets of identical pattern. To improve the proposed method, new strategy that can realize the global localization by changing arrangement of magnet pole is presented in this paper. Total six patterns of the magnets set form the unique landmarks. Therefore, the virtual map can be built by using the six landmarks randomly. The robots search a pattern of magnets set by rotating, and obtain the current global pose information by comparing the measured neighboring patterns with the map information that is saved in advance. We provide experimental results to show the effectiveness of the proposed method for a differential drive wheeled mobile robot.

스위칭 위치에 따른 2상 BLDC 모터의 특성변화 (Performance Variation with Switching Position of 2-Phase BLDC Motor)

  • Recently, the 2-phase brushless DC motor has been used in electric home appliance for low price and low energy consumption. In this paper, we analyzed a 2-phase BLDC motor using time-step finite element method. And the validity of analysis is confirmed by measuring the flux distribution on the surface of permanent magnet and back-EMF. As well, we have calculated the dynamic characteristics of target motor considering the Hall sensor position. So, we have found the optimum switching position, and improved performance of 2-phase BLDC motor.

Position Recognition System for Autonomous Vehicle Using the Symmetric Magnetic Field

  • The autonomous driving method using magnetic sensors recognizes the position by measuring magnetic fields in autonomous robots or vehicles after installing magnetic markers in a moving path. The Position estimate method using magnetic sensors has an advantage of being affected less by variation of driving environment such as oil, water and dust due to the use of magnetic field. It also has the advantages that we can use the magnet as an indicator and there is no consideration for power and communication environment. In this paper, we propose an efficient sensor system for an autonomous driving vehicle supplemented for existing disadvantage. In order to efficiently eliminate geomagnetism, we analyze the components of the horizontal and vertical magnetic field. We propose an algorithm for position estimation and geomagnetic elimination to ease analysis, and also propose an initialization method for sensor applied in the vehicle. We measured and analyzed the developed system in various environments, and we verify the advantages of proposed methods.

  • Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research(KSTAR) device is composed of 30 superconducting magnets, magnet structure, vacuum vessel, cryostat, current feeder system, and etc. KSTAR device is operated in the cryogenic temperature and high magnetic field. We install about 800 sensors - temperature sensors, stain gages, displacement gages, hall sensors - to monitor the thermal, mechanical, electrical status of KSTAR during operation. As a tremendous numbers of sensors should be installed for monitoring the KSTAR device, the method of effective installation was developed. The sensor test was successfully carried out to check its reliability and its reproduction in the cryogenic temperature. The sensor signal is processed by PXI-based DAQ system and communicated with central control system via machine network and is shown by Operator Interface(OPI) display in the main control room. In order to safely operate the device, any violations of mechanical & superconductive characteristic of the device components were informed to its operation system & operator. If the monitored values exceed the pre-set values, the protective action should be taken against the possible damage. In this paper, the system composition, operation criteria, operation result were presented.

초전도자석 충전용 고온초전도전원장치의 특성해석 (Analysis of the Operational Characteristic of a High-Tc Superconducting Power Supply for Charging of the Superconducting Magnet)

  • This paper presents the design and fabrication of a high-Tc superconducting (HTS) power supply for charging of the HTS magnet load, and its characteristics have been analyzed through experiments. HTS power supply consists of two heaters, an electromagnet, a Bi-2223 solenoid and a Bi-2223 pancake magnet load. In this experiment, 331 mH electromagnet and 0.8 A dc heater current were used, and 8.5 sec and 17 sec were used for pumping period. Mechanism of the superconducting switch is used for heater-trigger. In order to measure the pumping-current with respect to the magnet flux changes, hall sensor was installed at the center of the Bi-2223 pancake load. The experimental observations have been compared with the theoretical predictions. In this experiment, the pumping-current has reached about 1.2 A. In computer simulation, the maximum pumping-current of the system has been predicted to be about 2.7 A.
