초고속자기부상열차 절대위치검지시스템 인식구조 설계 및 분석 (The Design and Analysis of Recognition Structure for Absolute Train Positioning System of High-speed Maglev Train System)

  • 현재 초고속 자기부상열차시스템에 적용하고 있는 위치검지기술은 불연속적으로 열차위치를 파악하는 절대위치검지기술과 연속적으로 열차의 위치를 파악하는 상대위치검지기술로 구분된다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 초고속자기부상열차인 독일 Transrapid에 적용된 절대위치검지장치의 구조와 수치모델을 분석하고, Transrapid에 적용된 절대위치검지장치와 유사한 구조를 가지는 절대위치검지장치의 인식구조별 모델을 설계하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 설계한 모델의 적합성을 검증하고 최적의 절대위치검지장치 구조를 제안한다.

  • To investigate the adequacy of maglev train system to future urban transport environments, first we derived minimum necessity requirements of the new-transit system by analyzing the issues in the urban transit management and new needs of transportation customers. Then the conformity of Maglev train to the requirements was examined. With respect to this adequacy analysis, policy directions and agenda of the making practical use of urban transit Maglev system' is proposed.

  • From the past, maglev technique study(mainly for transportation like maglev) has been done. In the domestic, urban maglev train is practical steps now. High-speed maglev train(550km/h) development comes complete, followed by Japan. This year, system of High-speed maglev train(550km/h) is expected to be verified. This paper simulate FEM model for EMS(Electro-Magnetic Suspension) maglev system and verify tendency of reducing disturbance.

Discrete event simulation of Maglev transport considering traffic waves

  • A magnetically levitated vehicle (Maglev) system is under commercialization as a new transportation system in Korea. The Maglev is operated by an unmanned automatic control system. Therefore, the plan of train operation should be carefully established and validated in advance. In general, when making a train operation plan, statistically predicted traffic data is used. However, a traffic wave often occurs in real train service, and demand-driven simulation technology is required to review a train operation plan and service quality considering traffic waves. We propose a method and model to simulate Maglev operation considering continuous demand changes. For this purpose, we employed a discrete event model that is suitable for modeling the behavior of railway passenger transportation. We modeled the system hierarchically using discrete event system specification (DEVS) formalism. In addition, through implementation and an experiment using the DEVSim++ simulation environment, we tested the feasibility of the proposed model. Our experimental results also verified that our demand-driven simulation technology can be used for a priori review of train operation plans and strategies.

동적영향변수를 통한 자기부상열차용 철도교의 해석적 연구 (Analytical Study of Railroad Bridge for Maglev Propulsion Train with Dynamical Influence Variable)

  • 자기부상열차는 비접촉자기부상과 안내 및 추진 시스템을 이용하므로 안전한 고속주행이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 진동이 적으므로 주행안정성에도 탁월하다. 최근 우리나라도 자기부상열차개발을 국가성장산업으로 지정하면서 자기부상열차의 시범제작과 시범운행을 시도하였으며 이에 대한 연구와 투자가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 고속주행으로 발생하는 각 모듈의 동적 응답의 상호관계를 분석하는 것이 연구목적이므로 주행속도, 노면조도, 현가장치의 물성치, 교량거더의 강성비 등 동적효과에 영향을 주는 주요변수들의 변화에 따라 동적응답들의 상호관계를 연구범위로 선택하였다. 따라서 콘크리트 박스거더교를 교량모델로 선택하였고 국내 생산중인 부상열차와 레일형식을 각각 이동열차하중과 가이드웨이 해석모델로 선택하였다. 해석결과 처짐 제한을 2000분의 L로 제시한 단면을 가진 자기부상열차용 교량의 고유진동수는 일반교량에 비해 높다는 것을 알 수 있다. 일반교량구조에서와 같이 자기부상열차용 철도교도 이동속도에 따른 거더의 동적응답은 속도에 비례하여 크게 증가함을 알 수 있다. 설계기준은 이동속도와 관계없이 10%의 충격계수로 동적효과를 나타내므로 설계기준의 값과 적용범위는 검증이 요구된다. 거더의 동적응답은 시속 240km/h에서 극대 값을 가지며 이후 속도증가에 따라 비례하여 증가함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 해석결과들은 자기부상열차용 철도교 설계에 적용할 수 있으며 설계기준을 확인하거나 검증할 때 기본 자료를 제공해 줄 수 있다.

  • Through Korean Urban Maglev Program started in 2006, an urban maglev train was developed and the demonstration line is under construction as of now in 2011. The target speed of the developed maglev train is 110km/h, and the core technologies for super speed maglev trains over 500km/h are being studied. The propulsion and levitation systems of the super speed maglev train under consideration consist of linear synchronous motors (LSM) and levitation electromagnets which also act as a mover of LSM. In addition, guidance electromagnets are used to ensure stable running on curved tracks during super speed operation. The levitation and guidance control is focused on in this paper. For experimental purpose, a small maglev train is being manufactured, and its levitation and guidance controller is studied. The main task of the controller is to maintain the gap between the corresponding electromagnet and the guideway constantly. In general, measurements of the gap, acceleration and current and so on are utilized, and the gap control is implemented independently for each electromagnet. In this paper, the levitation and guidance system is modelled considering mechanical interactions, and the levitation and guidance controller is proposed based on this model. The developed controller is verified by various simulations using MATLAB/Simulink.

  • The light-rail system which is recently being built in Korea is a train control system based on driverless operation, and the train control system for urban maglev train under construction at the moment in Youngjong-Do, Incheon is pushed ahead based on driverless operation. In this paper, it compares train operation cases with manned operation and unmanned operation to examine system requirements for unmanned driving on train and detects system requirements of automatic train operation device for unmanned operation by analyzing unmanned operation cases which are currently operating or planed project and also introduces automatic train operation of urban maglev train and verifies whether the system for unmanned driving meets the requirements.

  • In the case of long-stator linear drives, unlike rotative drives for which speed or position sensors are a single unit attached to the shaft, these sensors extend along the guideway. The position signal transmitted from maglev vehicle can't meet the need of the real-time propulsion control. In this paper the position estimator for propulsion inverter driving long stator linear synchronous motor (LSLSM) in high speed maglev train is proposed. In order to get the higher resolution of the position information transmitted from vehicle, Full order state observer is proposed for position estimator.

  • In general, railway system uses wheels so detecting speed by tachometer. However, LRT(Light Rail Transits) stands out recently as alternatives transportation, and besides of that Maglev trains are emerged as an alternative means of transportation. Maglev operates above certain heights caused inability of the measurement by tachometer which used to detect speed of wheels. Velocity Detection Signal Device of Train Control System applied in "Train Control System Project of Pilot Line Construction for Urban MAGLEV Train" which is prepared ahead of opening in 2013. This paper, therefore, explains the function and operation principal of Velocity Detection Signal Device, and suggests installation method of velocity detection loop installed around the track.

초고속 자기부상열차용 LSM 설계 및 추력 측정 시험 (Design and Thrust Force Measurement of LSM for High-Speed Maglev Train)

  • This paper deals with design and thrust force measurement of EMS type LSM for propulsion of the high-speed maglev train. The load of maglev train is calculated, and the design equations of the LSM are presented, and the LSM which is suitable for the operation of short-distance test track is designed. In addition, the finite element analysis is performed to confirm the back-EMF and thrust force characteristics of the LSM designed model. A short length LSM prototype model is manufactured. Finally, the thrust force of the LSM is measured by the method applying dc current to the stator winding instead of three-phase ac current. And the validity of the design and analysis is verified by this measurement.
