삼치어종의 동태적 최적어업관리 (The Dynamic Optimal Fisheries Management for Spanish Mackerel)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다수어업에 의해 어획되는 삼치어종에 대해 잉여생산모형을 이용하여 최대지속적어획량(YMSY) 및 최대지속적어획노력량(FMSY)을 추정한 후 현재 가치 해밀토니안 기법을 적용하여 삼치어종을 어획하는 다수어업의 이윤 극대화를 위한 최적어업관리 수준과 민감도 분석을 통한 삼치어종의 제도적 접근 방안을 제공함에 있다. 분석 내용으로, 우선, 다수어업의 어획노력량을 Gavaris의 일반선형모형을 적용하여 하나의 단위로 표준화한 후, 다양한 잉여생산모형 중 CYP 모형을 채택하여 정태적 자원평가를 시도하였다. 다음으로, 생물·기술적 계수와 경제적 매개변수를 가지고 현재가치 해밀토니안 기법을 이용하여 어업 이윤을 극대화하는 동태적 최적 수준을 추정하였다. 분석 결과, 우선, MSY 수준과 이윤이 극대화되는 수준에서 우리나라 삼치자원은 남획되고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 다음으로, 경제적 주요 변수인 생산가격과 단위당 어업비용 변화에 따른 민감도 분석을 시도해본 결과, 생산가격 및 어업비용이 변화할 때 삼치어종의 자원량이 민감하게 반응하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 실제 삼치어종에 대한 어획노력량이 과도하게 투입되고 있어, 동 자원의 남획으로 인해 삼치어종을 어획하는 쌍끌이대형저인망어업, 대형선망어업, 대형트롤어업의 경영에도 비효율성을 야기하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구에서는 우리나라 연근해 수산자원의 회복과 TAC 총량규제의 정부 정책의 확대에 맞추어 삼치어종도 TAC 대상 품종에 포함하여 체계적으로 자원을 관리해 나가길 제안하였다.

부산물을 이용한 꽃게 통발용 미끼의 유인 효과 (Attracting effect of baits used the by-product for swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus pots)

  • In order to develop the substitutive materials for natural baits of swimming crab pots, the attracting effects of swimming crab such as the preference of baits which were made of the by-products of marine and stock raising through the water tank experiments and fishing experiments. On the investigation of mean entrapped catch number to the pot by the baits after putting the 4 kinds of baits, mackerel(M), mackerel with grinded mackerel s internals($MM_I$), mackerel with tuna s internals$MM_I$) and makerel with grinded krill(MK) each in one pot by turns, $MM_I$ and MK were entrapped mean 3.9(13.0%) and they were a little more comparing to M, and $MT_I$ is least with mean 2.1(7.0%)(F=12.913, P < 0.05). Otherwise, on the preference investigation of swimming crabs by the baits after putting the 4 kinds of baits in the 4 pots each, M was entrapped mean 3.0(10%), but $MM_I$, $MT_I$ and MK were mean 1.2(4.0%), 1.0(3.3%) and 1.5(5.0%) each and they were only 30-50% of M(F=13.398, P < 0.05). On the preference investigation of swimming crabs by the 5 kinds of baits, mackerel(M), and krill(K), manila clam($M_C$), pig s fat($P_F$) and chicken s head($C_H$) which were used in substitutive baits, M was entrapped mean 3.2(10.7%), but K was about 50% of catch of M with mean 1.6(5.3%), and $M_C$, $P_F$ and $C_H$ were very few with mean 0.1-0.2(0.3-0.7%)(F=89.186, P < 0.05). On the preference investigation of swimming crabs by the pots which were put each the 3 kinds of baits, original krill(K), grinded krill with gluten and soybean oil cake($K_GGS$) and grinded krill with gluten, soybean oil cake and glycine($K_GGSG_L$) in the blue fluorescent hexahedral plastic bait cages(BF), and which were put the mackerel(M) in the non-fluorescent hexahedral red plastic bait cage($RF_N$), it was entrapped mean 3.0(10.0%) in the pot which was put the mackerel in the $RF_N$, and the same level in the pots which were put the K and $K_GGSG_L$ in the BF, but it was mean 2.0(6.7%) in the pots which was put the $K_GGS$ in BF and it was decreased by 30% of catch comparing to $RF_N$(F=3.750, P < 0.05). On the preference investigation of swimming crab by the pots which was put grinded tuna with gluten, soybean oil cake and glycine($T_IGSG_L$) in the blue fluorescent hexahedral plastic bait cage(BF), and which was put mackerel(M) in the nonfluorescent hexahedral red plastic bait cage($RF_N$), it was entrapped mean 3.3(11.0%) in the pot which was put mackerel in $RF_N$, and mean 2.7(9.0%) in the pot which was put $T_IGSG_L$ in BF and it was about 15% less comparing to use bait M(t=1.387, P < 0.05). As a results of fishing experiments, a plan for enhancing catching efficiency of $T_IGSG_L$ will be required because catching efficiency of $T_IGSG_L$, alternative bait, was half of fish catching efficiency of natural bait using mackerel. Fishing experiments were conducted 3 times using reinforced substitutive artificial bait that is reinforced attractive effect of $T_IGSG_L$ and composed of tuna intestine, grinded mackerel, gluten, soybean cake, glycine and alanine($T_IM_GGSG_LA$). Catching efficiency of $T_IM_GGSG_LA$ was about 80% of that of natural bait made of mackerel.

근해 수산자원 증대사업의 경제적 타당성 평가 (Economic Valuation of the Off-Shore Fisheries Stock Enhancement Project)

  • This study is to evaluate the prior economic feasibility of the off-shore fisheries stock enhancement project. The main findings of this study can be summarized as follows: first, offshore fisheries stock enhancement project shall be implemented by dividing them into 1st·2nd·3rd projects for efficient promotion. The 1st·2nd·3rd projects will be conducted in a total of 50 locations (the eastern sea, the western sea, the southern sea, and the jeju sea areas), and the project period per unit will be five years, which will cost 1 trillion won. Second, according to the results of the survey on public awareness, the most consumed marine species in Korea over the past year were analyzed in the order of mackerel, hairtail, squid, yellow corvina, blue crab, and cod. The dominant response to the reason for consuming marine products in Korea was healthy well-being food and safe food. In addition, 67.9% of them have hesitated to purchase offshore fish species over the past year due to high prices, indicating that they are burdened by high prices. On the other hand, 79% of the respondents said that the government's policy was insufficient, according to a survey on whether the government's coastal marine resource creation policy was sufficient. Third, as a result of preliminary economic analysis of offshore fisheries stock enhancement project, the benefit-cost ratio is 4.01, net present price is 1,283.7 billion won, and internal rate of return is 91.7% per year, which means that the economic analysis ensures the feasibility of the projects. The results of this study provide useful information on securing or organizing budgets for offshore fisheries stock enhancement project by securing economic feasibility as a national infrastructure project that increases fishery income and public benefits such as consumption of marine products.

고등어분말수우프의 제조 및 정미성분에 관한 연구 (Preparation of Powdered Smoked-Dried Mackerel Soup and Its Taste Compounds)

  • 다획성적색육어류인 고등어를 원료로하여 우리나라 사람의 기호에 맞고 즉석(卽席)수우프의 원료로 이용할 수 있는 고등어분말수우프를 제조하기 위한 가공조건 및 이의 효율적인 저장방법과 제품의 맛성분에 대하여 검토하였다. 가공조건은 고등어를 필레로 만들어 $95^{\circ}C$의 열수 중에서 10분간 자숙한 다음 압착하여 가다랑어자숙 엑스분 중에서 5분간 침지하였다. 이것을 $80^{\circ}C$에서 8시간의 훈건 및 엄증을 3차례 반복하여 수분함량이 약 $10\~12\%$되도록 하여 50 mesh 크기로 분쇄한후 $(PET/Al\;foil/CPP:\;5{\mu}m/15{\mu}m/70{\mu}m,\;15\times17cm)$ 적층필름주머니에 일정량 충전하여 포장용기내의 공기를 질소치환 혹은 탈산소제를 봉입포장하여 저장함으로서 제품의 품질변화를 최대한 억제시킬 수 있었다. 한편 제품제조시 가다랑어자숙엑스분중에 침지처리함으로서 제조중 지방산화의 억제 및 제품의 풍미를 향상시킬 수 있었다. 고등어분말수우프의 수분함량은 $11.3\~12.3\%$, 조지방 $12.0\%$, 조단백질 $73.0\%$, 회분 $3.2\%$ 및 구분활성은 $0.52\~0.56$의 범위로서 저장중 거의 변화가 없었고, 제품의 pH, 휘발성염기질소 및 아미노질소는 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 약간씩 증가하는 경향이었다. 저장중 제품의 수용성 및 지용성 갈변도는 함기포장제품(C)의 경우 증가하는 경향을 나타내나 질소치환포장제품(N)이 나 탈산소제 봉입 포장제 품(O)은 거의 변화가 없었고, 과산화물값, 카르보닐값 및 TBA값을 측정한 결과 제품(N) 및 (O)는 저장중 지방산화를 효율적으로 억제 할 수 있었다. 제품의 주요구성지방산은 16:0, 18:1, 22:6, 18:0 및 20:5 등이었으며 제품제조 및 저장중 폴리엔산은 다소 감소한 반면, 포화산 및 모노엔산의 조성비는 증가하였다. 고등어분말수우프제품의 주요한 맛성분이라고 추정되는 IMP의 함량은 $420.2\~454.2mg/100g$으로서 저장중 약간씩 감소하는 경향이었고, 주요불휘발성 유기산은 lactic acid, succinic acid, $\alpha-ketoglutaric\;acid$ 등으로 함량은 각각 902.2 mg/100 g, 28.3 mg/100g 및 8.6mg/100g이었다. 이외에 malic acid 등 6종의 유기산이 미량 함유되어 있었다. 제품의 유리아미노산 및 관련화합물의 조성은 histidine이 641.8 mg/100g으로 가장 많았고, alanine 214.7 mg/100g, hydroxyproline이 48.9mg/100g, 이외에 lysine, glutamic acid 및 anserine 등이 전체의 $80.8\%$를 차지하였다. 고등어분말수우프의 맛성분은 건물량 기준으로 유리아미노산 및 관련화합물이 1,279.4 mg/100g, 불휘발성유기산이 948.1mg/100g, 핵산 관련물질 672.8 mg/100g, 총 creatinine이 430.4 mg/100g, betaine 86.6mg/100g 및 미량의 TMAO로 이루어져 있었고 국물로 우려낼때 맛성분의 추출조건은 $100^{\circ}C$에서 1분간의 고온단시간 추출이 적합하였다.

개체군 체장자료를 이용한 연령조성 추정 (Inference of Age Compositions in a Sample of Fish from Fish Length Data)

  • Fish ages are critical information in fish stock assessments because they are required for age-structure models such as virtual population analysis and stochastic catch-at-age models, whose outputs include recruitment strengths, a spawning stock size (abundance or biomass), and the projection of a fish population size in future. However, most countries other than the developed countries have not identified ages of fish caught by fisheries or surveys in a consistent manner for a long time (e.g.,>20 years). Instead, data about fish body sizes (e.g., lengths) have been well available because of ease of measurement. To infer age compositions of fish in a target group using fish length data, we intended to improve the length frequency analysis (LFA), which Schnute and Fournier had introduced in 1980. Our study was different in two ways from the Schnute and Fournier's method. First we calculated not only point estimates of age compositions but also the uncertainty in those estimates. Second, we modified LFA based on the von Bertalanffy growth model (vB-based model) to allow both individual-to-individual and cohort-to-cohort variability in estimates of parameters in the vB-based model. For illustration, we used data about lengths of Korean mackerel Scomber japonicas caught by purse-seine fisheries from 2000-2016.

성숙 유도한 한국산 고등어 (Scomber japonicus)의 난발생과 자치어의 형태 발달 (Development of the Eggs, Larvae and Juveniles by Artificially-Matured Pacific Mackerel, Scomber japonicus in the Korean Waters)

  • Development of egg, larvae and juveniles for the Pacific mackerel, Scomber japonicus are described following natural fertilization in the indoor tank of $25^{\circ}C$ water temperature. Following a routine hormone treatment technique for the brood stock, male and female mackerels were artificially matured by intramuscular injections of LHRHa at a dosage of $400{\mu}g/kg$ body weight (BW)+Domperidone at a dosage of $4{\mu}g/kg$ body weight (BW) to induce maturation in a separate aquarium and induced natural spawning. Fertilized eggs were ca. 1.0 mm in diameter; spherical in shape with a single oil globule; pelagic and non-adhesive. Hatching occurs 41 hours after fertilization at $23-24^{\circ}C$. The newly hatched larvae was 3.03 mm in average total length (ATL), the mouth and anus were not open, oil globule located in posterior end of yolk sac, and preanal length was 42.8% of TL. The larvae measuring 2.89 mm ATL, almost absorbed yolk sac and oil globule material in 2 days after hatching, in which the mouth and anus were open. Melanophores, branch or star in shape were observed on the top of head, peritoneal region and along the ventral contour. In 13 days after hatching, the larvae was 6.88 mm ATL, its posterior end of notochord began to flex upward, finfold of caudal fin appeared, jaw teeth were already formed. In 19 days after hatching, the larvae was 7.71 mm ATL completed only caudal fin rays (9+8), and preanal length was 49.4% of TL. In 37 days after hatching, the larvae was 27.4 mm ATL already completed all the fins, and preanal length was 59.9% of TL.

제주도 김녕 연안해역의 방어 어장형성 특성과 자원생물학적 기초 연구 (Acharacteristics on the forming of fishing ground and population ecological study of Yellow tail, Seriola quinqueradiata, in the coastal waters off Gim-nyeong of Jeju Island, Korea)

  • The forming of fishing ground and the population ecological characteristics of yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata, in the coastal waters off Gim-nyeong of Jeju Island were investigated. The stock of yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata, between Jeju Island and coastal areas of the East Sea is probably the same. Water temperature probably is a major factor for controlling distribution of yellowtails in deeper, offshore areas off Jeju Island. However, the major factor that determines aggregation of yellowtails in coastal areas of Jeju Island, especially off Gim-nyeong is probably strong tidal currents driven by distribution of yellowtails rather than hydrological conditions such as Yellowtails collected off Jeju Island were from 1 to 4yrs old and about 50% of them were $1^{-yr}$ old, probably indicating overfishing. Jack mackerel was the major prey item for yellowtails off Gim-nyeong from October to March, suggesting concurrence of the two species.

진도해역 낭장망의 어획물 실태에 따른 어업관리 방안 (Study for fishery management measure on gape net with wings with catch composition in the water of Jin-do)

  • In this study, we conducted field surveys to investigate and analyze species and length composition of catch from gape net with wings being set in two areas - Masari, Supomri - located in southern part of Jin-do for understanding fishing characteristics of gape net with wings fishery from March to September of 2011. And with those results, we attempted to propose fishery management strategy to harvest fisheries resources continuously. Catch obtained from field surveys comprised total 78 species, which accounted for 53 species of fish, 20 species of crustacean, 4 species of cephalopod and one of polychaete. As to species composition in weight, it showed that there was 88.5% for pisces, 9.0% for cephalopoda and 2.5% for crustacea. As to catch specifics by area, there was 36 species (596,891 individual, 456,551g) of pisces, 17 species (35,815 individual, 12,909g) of crustacea and 3 species (2,876 individual, 3,004g) of cephalopoda in Masari area. In Supumri area, there was 41 species (396,898 individual, 281,457g) of pisces, 15 species (16,113 individual, 7,772g) of crustacea and 4 species (6,792 individual, 72,329g) of cephalopoda and one polychaeta (36 individual, 11g). Catch of anchovy by month recorded on high level on June, July, September in both areas. When considering size composition by month, it was found that new populations recruit to these fishing grounds on June and September. Most of bycatch species including hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus), dotted gizzard shad (Konosirus punctatus), conger eel (Leptocephalous), Pacific sandlance (Ammodytes personatus), horse mackerel (Trachurus japonicus) were juvenile, and grass puffer (Takifugu niphobles), Kammal thryssa (Thryssa kammalensis), Japanese sardinella (Sardinella zunasi) were also small in size. As a result, it is considered that gape net with wings fishery which is likely to catch juvenile needs to be set fishing prohibit period for conserving above stocks during the period excluding main fishing periods of anchovy or fisheries management such as expanding mesh size for preventing juvenile catch.
