  • Recently, due to the development of network environment, the internet market has been expanding, so it is necessary to standardize the data format and API to exchange information among objects. Therefore, MPEG (Moving Picture Expert Group), an international standardization organization, is establishing the MPEG-IoMT (ISO/IEC 23093) project to standardize the Internet of Things. MPEG-IoMT establishes Core Experiment (CE) and discusses overall data exchange such as data exchange procedure, markup language and communication method. In this paper, core experiments 1, 2, 4, and 5 of the core experiments of MPEG-IoMT will be discussed. The performance information of the sensor, the sensor data, the performance information of the driver, and the exchange procedure of the control command are explained and the exchange of the media additional data is discussed. We compare the markup language and communication method through experiment.

  • The Quercus mongolica forest vegetation of Mt. Myongji was classified into two communities including four subunit communities and one typical subunit community by the Z-M method as follows: Acer pseudo-sieboldianum-Quercus mongolica community group Quercus mongolica - Isodon excisus community Quercus mongolica - Styrax obassia community Quercus mongolica - Lespedeza bicolor subunit coummunity Quercus mongolica - Aconitum longecassidatum subunit community Quercus mongolica - Rhododendrom schlippenbachii subunit community Quercus mongolica - Cornus controversa subunit community Quercus mongolica - Styrax obassia typical subunit community Acer pseudo-sieboldianum - Quercus mongolica community group was distributed over the upper region of the altitude 400m, and the differential species in the community were Carex siderosticata, Sephanandra incisa, Tripterygium regelii, and Fraxinus rhynchophylla. The vegetation patterns for the slope and azimuth showed that the highest importance value for Quercus mongolica forest was observed on the broad subxeric area, and for Carpinus cordata and Acer pseudo-sieboldianum on the wet site, for Acer mono, Styrax obassia, Fraxinus rhynchophylla and Symplocos chinensis for. pilosa on the xeric site. The best habitat condition for Quercus mongolica was found at a subxeric site at the altitude of 700-900m on southern slope and that for Acer pseudo-sieboldianum at the 700-1100m on northern slope.

  • Recently, Internet of Things (IoT) drives a large variety of research, development, and new type of markets. All type of devices and sensors will be part of the Internet of Things and will be able to communicate not only plain data, but also audio-visual, olfactory, and haptic media data. In addition, as the devices and sensors getting smarter, it is highly probable that they can process acquired media and metadata to extract higher level of information (e.g., semantics). To support such enhanced functionalities, ISO/IEC SC29 WG11 (MPEG) starts a new standard project, ISO/IEC 23093, called Internet of Media Things (IoMT) to provide standard data formats and APIs for media things. This paper presents the standardization activities of IoMT focusing on explaining terms, standard scopes, and major media things with their use cases. One of the use cases, an IoT system for a blind pedestrian navigation assistance, is evaluated to prove its effectiveness.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the flora of Mt. Myongji and also to find the distribution characteristecs of rare and endangered plants in this mountain. Field surveys were carride out 21 times from 1991 to 1997. Main results obtained from this study were as follows; 1. Mt. Myougji was covered with Pinus koraiensis and Sarix leptolepis stands at the altitude lower than 600m, and deciduous forests which were consisted of Quercus mongolica, Carpinus sp., Acer sp., Cornus sp., Fracinus sp., etc. occupied at the altitude higher than 600m. Dicentra spectabilis population and Anemone population were remardable, and Adenophora grandiflora and Astilbe chinensis var. davidii with white flowers were found. 2. The vascular plants in Mt. Myoungji were recorded as 677 taxa such as 19 families, 358 genera 576 species 90 varieties 11 forma. Among them. 19 families 31 genera 32 taxa were endemic plants and 27 taxa were naturalized plants. 3. 26 taxa of rare and endangered plants protected by Forestry Administration were found in Mt. Myonfji. Among them, Asarum maculatum. Hanabusaya asiatica, Lilum cernum. Jeffersonia dubia, and Cypripedium japonica populations could be regarded as very important in a biogeraphical aspect. So it is necessary to monitor this area in a long term and to establish the conservation strategies.

  • This study analyzed the effect of participation of in - company events on organizational commitment. A total of 52 questionnaires were analyzed for workers. The results of this study were as follows: First, there was no statistically significant correlation between employees' satisfaction with organizational life satisfaction and the correlation coefficient between MT / WS and Sports events was -.478, p <.01 Level negative correlation. Second, the group differences of the organizational life satisfaction according to the individual characteristics of the workers were analyzed according to the age and position, and the organizational life satisfaction was analyzed as being higher than that of 30 ~ 35 years of age More than the deputy director. Third, there was no statistically significant difference between groups of self-efficacy according to personal characteristics. The purpose of this study is to examine whether organizational commitment influences organizational commitment through organizational life satisfaction and self - efficacy.
