커뮤니티 기반 지식 네트워크: 호주 사례 연구 (Community-based Knowledge Networks: an Australian case study)

  • This paper reports on a structural view of a knowledge network comprised of clubs and organisationsexpressly concerned with cultural activities in a regional Australian city. Social network analysis showed an uneven distribution of power, influence, and prominence in the network. The network structure consisted of two modules of vertices clustered around particular categories of creative arts and these modules were linked most frequently by several organisations acting as communication hubs and boundary spanners. The implications of the findings include 'network weaving' for improving the network structure and developing a systemic approach for exploring the structures of social action that form community-based knowledge networks.

But, they don't have a skill to Home Network Middleware in electronic products. It is a more important in Home Network Middleware. So, we will try to study about Home Network Middleware skill. And suggest to proposition that is a novel Home Network Middleware.

링 형태의 이더넷 기반의 차량 내 네트워크 프로토콜 (Circular Ethernet-based In-Vehicle Network Protocol)

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 내 편의장치를 제어하는"body"영역과 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송하는 "멀티미디어" 영역을 위해서 이더넷 기반의 차량 내 네트워크 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이더넷 기반의 차량 내 네트워크 프로토콜은 해당 응용 분야의 요구를 만족시키기 위해 각 노드에서 트래픽 제어를 수행하는데 이를 위해서 2계층과 네트워크 토폴로지를 수정하였다. 링 토폴로지를 갖는 기존의 MOST 프로토콜과 본 논문에서 제안하는 링 토폴로지의 이더넷 기반의 프로토콜을 시뮬레이션하여 그 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 본 논문에서 제안하는 토폴로지 형태에서 15% 성능 개선을 확인하였다. 또한 리눅스 기반에서 구현한 시스템을 통해 실시간 멀티미디어 패킷이 베스트 에포트 패킷과 공존 시에 QoS를 보장 받는 것을 확인하였다.

대도시 도심교통문제의 개선을 위한 가로망체계의 개편방안에 관한 연구 (A study on Restructuring the Street Network for the Improvement of Traffic Problems in Metropolitan Central Area)

  • In line with the continued growth of car ownership, the traffic problems in central area of metropoles such as Seoul would become increasingly degraded. comparing with most western cities, the problems in Seoul are characterized by the improportionately high rates of intersection delay, station congestion, traffic accidents caused by weaving conflicts and pedestrian congestion. It is caused by the lack of flexibility I street network, which is prerequisite for upholding the efficacy of traffic management and control, resulted from the simplicity of network graph in terms of connectivity, street density and distribution by width. This pattern has been resulted from the prolonged policy pursuing the street-widening of the nagging bottleneck in such a short period since the 1950s, comparing that most western cities had undergone over several centuries an age of horse-and-vehicle transportation. In order to improve the expected traffic problems in central area over the coming periods of motorization, it is imperative to restructure the street network in Central Seoul so that the efficacy of traffic management and control may be operative. Based upon the long-range planning the street network should be restructured by stages so that cenral traffic may be controled by one-way operation and most through-traffic be detoured around fringe area.

A XML based Communication Framework for In-Vehicle Networks

  • Recently, various in-vehicle networks have been developed respectively in order to accomplish their own purpose such as CAN and MOST. Various electronic devices for vehicle are controllable by the advent of networks attached to the vehicle. However, the networks also come with a variety of unique features in each network-specific communication which creates difficulty using and supporting the interoperable services among the networks. To solve this problem, each network needs a standard integration framework. In this paper, a framework is proposed and implemented. It consists of a standard protocol using XML to improve compatibility and portability. The framework makes each network interoperable by applying unique information and messages of the network in the XML standard document. The results obtained by implementation show that the framework supports the efficient communication of data between heterogeneous invehicle networks.

Development of Mobile Social Network Game by using Web Service

  • In the field of mobile games, social network games are steadily increasing in market scale and public interest every year. This paper proposes a method to design a social network game, which is one of the most successful genres in mobile games. The method uses Unity3D, the most commonly used engine for mobile game development. NGUI, a versatile developmental tool of Unity3D, is used to create shops and battle UIs. This paper particularly focuses on how to use the web hosting service to search and operate the necessary data from the database in the server. In addition, the proposed social network game is easy to implement real-time battle using Animator and Raycast, and is characterized by efficient battle implementation through time delay using Coroutine function.

  • Recently, Bluetooth has been regarded as a new technology for short-range wireless connection. Although initial application of Bluetooth technology has been focused mainly on replacing cables between hand-held devices due to a limited packet size and short-range, general wireless telecommunication such as PAN and Ad hoc networks via Bluetooth-equipped devices is expected to be one of the most popular applications. Wireless equipments have been used to exchange data between host and mobile unit. The exchanging data may be several bytes of control command and the value of sensors with ultra-sonic, vision sensor, and encoder from mobile robot. However, most wireless equipments have some drawbacks such as lack of authentication, large size and high price. On the other hand, the benefits of Bluetooth are small size, low power, low price except short-range. Especially, there are some difficulties when wireless modules are used in indoor environments. In this paper, a method of using wire network in Bluetooth network is investigated as a solution to overcome the short-range problem of Bluetooth and difficulty in indoor environment.

의미 네트워크 분석법을 활용한 초등 예비교사들이 생각하는 과학에 대한 의미 분석 (An Analysis of Scientific Concepts Pre-service Elementary School Teachers Have through Semantic Network Analysis)

  • This study aims to investigate how pre-service elementary school teachers understand 'something scientific', 'being scientific', 'scientific events' and 'scientific questions' through semantic network analysis. To achieve this purpose, this study carried out a central analysis of the frequency and density of words and the degree of connection between key words, a concentric analysis, a click analysis and a common network analysis through text semantic network analysis by using NetMiner 4.0 Program. Based on the results of these analyses, this study came to the following conclusions. Firstly, in perceiving 'something scientific', pre-service elementary school teachers recognized 'verification', 'objective' and 'experiment' as most important words. In other words, they perceived that main grounds for something scientific should be provided through clear facts, possible to be verified and accompanied by an exact and logical theoretical system. In regard to 'being scientific', they perceived 'explanation', 'objective' and 'verification' as most important words, while having a traditional point of view that science is a set that can be explained objectively. Secondly, in regard that the term, 'observation', is contained in 'scientific events', they showed a high rate of understanding it as a scientific event. In regard to scientifical reasons, they showed the highest frequency of 'observation', and for unscientific reasons, they showed the highest frequency of 'behavior'. In perceiving 'scientific questions', they showed the highest frequency of determining bacteria-related questions as scientific. As a reason why they thought as scientific, they mentioned 'observation' most frequently like 'scientific events', while mentioning 'value judgement' as a reason why they thought as unscientific most frequently. From the results of integrated network analysis, this study found out that words pre-service teachers commonly used in stating scientific events or scientific questions were overlapped with words they mentioned for scientific events or scientific questions. As a result, it was found there were many pre-service teachers having interpreted scientific words without clearly distinguishing scientific events or scientific questions.

시스템 상태의 대수적 성질을 이용한 다중모드 네트워크 시스템 성능 근사계산 알고리즘 (An Algorithm For Approximating The Performance of Multi-mode Network System Using Algebraic Property of System States)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중모드를 갖는 장치 구성요소들의 네트워크 구조를 갖는 시스템 혹은 통신 네트워크에서 성능 품질 혹은 신뢰도 근사계산을 위해서 네트워크 시스템 상태들의 확률크기에 관해 최고 가능 상태들만을 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 대부분의 네트워크 시스템 같은 복잡한 시스템들은 장치들의 수나 장치들의 다중 모드의 수가 증가함에 따른 기하급수적 상태 공간의 증가로 인해 그 성능이나 신뢰도를 직접 계산하는 것이 매우 어려운 경우가 많다. 따라서 근사계산의 해법이 더욱 타당한 접근법이라 할 수 있다. 이때, 시스템의 기대 성능이나 신뢰도 계산을 위해서는 시스템 상태와 그 상태 확률을 통해 기댓값을 산출하여야 한다. 이때, 근사계산을 통한 접근 방법에서 사전에 수행되어야 하는 것은 네트워크 시스템 상태들의 발생 가능 순서로 나열해야 하는 것이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 시스템 상태들 중 가장 발생 가능성이 큰 상태들을 찾고 이로부터 네트워크 성능이나 신뢰도의 근사 값을 구하는데 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 기존의 방법과 자원의 효율성 측면 중에서 메모리 효율성을 고려하여 실험을 통해 예시하고 장 단점을 논의하고자 한다.

Windows CE 기반 MOST Network 관리 기능의 설계 및 구현 (WINCE Using MOST Network Control Program)

  • 최근 차량 내부의 전장장치 사이에 운전자의 편의성의 요구 수준이 높아지고 있으며 이에 대응해 상호통신을 위한 차량용 네트워크 기술이 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 이에 따라 이들 인포테인먼트 시스템 중 최적화된 내부 통신기술이 필요하게 되었다. 차량용 네트워크인 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport)는 오디오, 비디오 신호를 동기적으로 전송할 수 있는 자동차용 멀티미디어 시스템에 가장 광범위 하게 사용되고 있는 네트워크이며 넓은 대역폭과 오디오, 비디오 데이터의 실시간 전송 및 코딩을 지원한다. Windows CE는 다양한 라이브러리를 지원함으로써 다양한 GUI 및 네트워크 프로젝터 개발이 가능하다. 이러한 기술적 변화에 맞춰서 본 논문에서는 Windows CE 6.0 기반의 보드와 차량용 인포테이먼트 네트워크인 MOST 네트워크를 이용하여 MOST 네트워크 상태를 관리할 수 있고 MOST 네트워크 동작 및 정보, 상태 등 다양한 정보를 한눈에 확인할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하였다.
