  • One of current trends of medical technology is analog to digital. Moreover, The Government put a premium on PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System) for Medical Insurance in November, 1999. Therefore many hospitals are installing(or planning to install) PACS facilities on their buildings. However most of hospitals didn't consider PACS facilities in the beginning of construction. In particular, the Networking is one of the most difficult things for PACS installation. There is no space for network equipments, and no path for network lines, etc. To solve these problems, wireless network is proposed. The wireless network is divided to three parts mainly. One is the wireless communication for Local Area Network, another is the data transmission through a satellite for Tele-Radiology, and the last one is the technology using Bluetooth for each sub-system of PACS. But there are other problems in wireless systems, i.e., network bandwidth, system stability, interference with other devices. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the future and new trend of PACS including all the problems.

Topology Characteristics and Generation Models of Scale-Free Networks

  • The properties of a scale-free network are little known; its node degree following a power-law distribution is among its few known properties. By selecting real-field scale-free networks from a network dataset and comparing them to other networks, such as random and non-scale-free networks, the topology characteristics of scale-free networks are identified. The assortative coefficient is identified as a key metric of a scale-free network. It is also identified that most scale-free networks have negative assortative coefficients. Traditional generation models of scale-free networks are evaluated based on the identified topology characteristics. Most representative models, such as BA and Holme&Kim, are not effective in generating real-field scale-free networks. A link-rewiring method is suggested that can control the assortative coefficient while preserving the node degree sequence. Our analysis reveals that it is possible to effectively reproduce the assortative coefficients of real-field scale-free networks through link-rewiring.

  • CNN (Convolutional Neural Network), a type of deep learning algorithm, is a type of artificial neural network used to analyze visual images. In deep learning, it is classified as a deep neural network and is most commonly used for visual image analysis. Accordingly, an AI autonomous driving model was constructed through real-time image processing, and a crosswalk image of a road was used as an obstacle. In this paper, we proposed a low-cost model that can actually implement autonomous driving based on the CNN model. The most well-known deep neural network technique for autonomous driving is investigated and an end-to-end model is applied. In particular, it was shown that training and self-driving on a simulated road is possible through a practical approach to realizing lane detection and keeping.

  • 국내에서 차량용 멀티미디어 네트워크인 MOST에서 내부 네트워킹에 관한 사례는 있으나 MOST 네트워크에서 TCP/IP 지원을 위한 MAMAC 프로토콜에 관한 사례는 알려져 있지 않다. MAMAC 프로토콜은 MOST 네트워크와 Ethernet과의 패킷전송을 위한 효율적 프로토콜로 MOST협회에서 표준화를 하였고 현재 MOST MAMAC Specification 1.1까지 진행되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 MOST 네트워크와 Ethernet간의 데이터 전송을 위한 MAMAC 프로토콜을 분석하며 TCP/IP를 지원하는 MOST 장비 개발 시 MAMAC 프로토콜기술 적용 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The demand of MOST interface module is increasing with car-multimedia network system. MOST devices consist of INIC part which controls MOST network and EHC part which is used by user. The efficient data communication between EHC and INIC demands implementation of a proper device driver. This paper presents a design method for I2C communication driver which is used for transmitting control messages between nodes of MOST network. For effetive I2C communication, we design driver with NetService API. For testing the experiment, we use the MOST audio interface deivce for porting driver sources and will develop various driver on MOST device based OS.

  • While MOST is an in-vehicle network which transfers concurrently synchronous data, asynchronous data and control data, it provides high bandwidth synchronous section which can transfer video and audio without buffering. To transfer real time data using synchronous section, connections between source node and sink node, and channel allocation for connections are required. In this paper, we proposed synchronous data transfer method and channel allocation method by constructing MOST network after designing and implementing channel allocation module for using synchronous data section.

  • The vehicle network such as CAN, MOST, Ethernet has different protocols. In the case of Ethernet data, when data is transmitted from Ethernet to MOST150, it cannot be treated by Ethernet channel of MOST150, leading to data loss and transmission delays. Thus, this thesis proposes vehicle integration GATEWAY, which can form a network by organically connecting the Ethernet and MOST150 networks and minimize the delay and data losses caused by the differences in bandwidth.

  • In-vehicle multimedia systems are one of the most important factors in the automotive industry. Especially, multimedia systems are more important in advanced commercial vehicles such as premium express buses. In this paper, we proposed a multimedia streaming system architecture using MEP(MOST Ethernet Packets) for premium express buses based on MOST150. We have designed and implemented the prototype of proposed multimedia streaming system. We have designed a board based on i.MX6 to operate a proposed multimedia streaming system. The software has designed a multimedia system for premium express buses based on Android which is an open source platform. MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) is a high-speed multimedia network technology for in-vehicle multimedia system. The MOST network is able to manage up to 64 devices and ring topology is used basically. In addition, the MOST Network meets EMI(Electro-Magnetic Interference)/ EMC(Electro-Magnetic Compatibility) requirements because it uses plastic optical fibers(POF).

  • As demands increase for the Infotainment System, the Multimedia Networking technology for automobile, called MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport), has been actively applied to the automobile industry, to meet the demands of the Infotainment System. The MOST25 network technology is being restrictively equipped with some of the car models but the problems withbandwidth and compatibility has arisen. In order to solve this, the MOST150 technology has been developed and further research is being carried out to applythe technology to the automobile industry. Thus, for the effective process of the Ethernet traffic in the realization of MOST150/Ethernet Gateway for automobile, we, in the research, shall analyse the Management Mapping method, including the MOST150's Isochronous channel, the MOST Ethernet Packet Channel, and etc. and study the efficient algorithm.

Knowledge Acquistion using Neural Network and Simulator

  • There are so many researches about the search method for the most compatible dispatching rule to a manufacturing system state. Most of researches select the dispatching rule using simulation results. This paper touches upon two research topics: the clustering method for manufacturing system states using simulation, and the search method for the most compatible dispatching rule to a manufacturing system state. The manufacturing system state variables are given to ART II neural network as input. The ART II neural network is trained to cluster the system state. After being trained, the ART II neural network classifies any system state as one state of some clustered states. The simulation results using clustered system state information and those of various dispatching rules are compared and the most compatible dispatching rule to the system state is defined. Finally there are made two knowledge bases. The simulation experiments are given to compare the proposed methods with other scheduling methods. The result shows the superiority of the proposed knowledge base.
