  • The purpose of this paper is to find the most vital arc in the minimum cost flow problem. The most vital arc is the arc whose removal results in the greatest influence in the costs or the amount of demands in a given minimum cost flow network. This problem can be well applied to the conflict situations such as military logistics network or communications network. In this situation, network user wants to know which arcs are the most vital to him so that he can reinforce these arcs against attack, while interdictor wants to destroy these arcs which increase the distance of the shortest path most through the network. When one of arcs is removed from the network of the minimum cost flow problem, two kinds of situations can be occurred ; breaking feasibility and increasing cost. In case of breaking feasibility, the rank of arcs are determined using the amount of modified flow in a related network which is made of modifying the optimal alternative of the minimum cost flow problem. The rank of arcs with the increased costs are determined by using a method which finds the directed cycle with the minimum cost in a related network.

  • Last of the car industry can be grouped in one-vehicle electronic equipment, the development of the network, and accordingly the communication between each of the network is important. The network currently being used in vehicles include CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, etc. are used. Network of several different kinds of applications using the federation said they were also germ, which causes the driver some more convenient environment, the desire to drive a vehicle that is increasing. If vehicle for other network environments with one integrated environment to make it a gateway for research done actively, the more applications are expected to be developed. In this paper, using gateway between CAN bus used for Body Train-side control of the vehicle network and MOST provided for infotainment systems. In vehicle automatic safety control system will be designed by One of CAN Nodes car speed information sending to MOST Navigation while don't received GPS information in the tunnel.

  • A practical algorithm of generating most probable states in decreasing order of probability, given the probability of each unit\`s state, is suggested for approximating reliability(performability) evaluation of a network with multistate(multimode) units. Method of approximating network reliability for a given measure with most probable states is illustrated with a numerical example. The proposed method in this paper is compared with the previous method regarding memory requirement. Our method has some advantages for computation and achieves improvement with regard to memory requirement for a certain condition judging from the computation experiment.

  • For growing need for the multimedia application in the vehicles, the MOST protocol has been focused on. The MOST protocol supports three kinds of communication modes; short control message, asynchronous packets, and reserved synchronous stream data. Because of a variety of transportation, the MOST is suitable for various applications in vehicle environment. In this paper, we implemented embedded system which is MOST-enabled AMS platform and tested the network communication operation through the control port and the synchronous channel of the source port. We implemented the prototype platforms which communicate each other on the MOST's POF network. Moreover we implemented the DivX decoder attached AMS platform and verified the operation by transferring the video stream and the control messages through the MOST network.

  • Lately, vehicle combined vehicle and IT(Information Technology) for vehicle's safety and convenience. so, vehicles is equipped with many ECU(Electronic control unit). the ECU's transmit data about each electronic control unit with OBD(On-Board Diagnostics) Network and data about each multimedia with MOST(Media Oriented System Transport) Network. In this paper, Supplementing disadvantage of existing blackbox, Using MOST of in-vehicle multimedia network and OBD-II of in-vehicle control network, blackbox system obtain the vehicle's driving state data. so, blackbox system judge vehicle's driving state and provide vehicle's driving state information to driver. Blackbox system implement the features mentioned above. as a result, blackbox is going to be more accurate blackbox system.

  • This paper proposes real-time video transmission system by the car-mounted cameras based on MOST Network. Existing vehicles transmit videos by connecting the car-mounted cameras in the form of analog. However, the increase in the number of car-mounted cameras leads to development of the network to connect the cameras. In this paper, DSP is applied to process MPEG 2 encoding/decoding for real-time video transmission in a short period of time. MediaLB is employed to transfer data stream between DSP and MOST network controller. During this procedure, DSP cannot transport data stream directly from MediaLB. Therefore, FPGA is used to deliver data stream transmitting MediaLB to DSP. MediaLB is designed to streamline hardware/software application development for MOST Network and to support all MOST Network data transportation methods. As seen in this paper, the test results verify that real-time video transmission using proposed system operates in a normal matter.

  • Many modules such as controller, sensor, telematics terminal, navigation, audio and video are connected each other via vehicle network (CAN, MOST, etc). Futhermore, users can have ITS or internet services in moving by connecting to wireless mobile network. These network capabilities can cause a lots of security issues such as data hacking, privacy violation, location tracking and so on. Some possibilities which raise a breakdown or accident by hacking vehicle operation data (sensor, control data) are on the increase. In this paper, we propose a security module which has encryption functionalities and can be used for vehicle network system such as CAN, MOST, etc. This security module can provide conventional encryption algorithms and digital signature processing functionality such as DES, 3-DES, SEED, ECC, and RSA.

  • Network coding is one of the most promising techniques to increase the reliability and reduce the energy consumption for wireless sensor networks (WSNs). However, most of the previous works mainly focus on the network coding for multicast or unicast in WSNs, in spite of the fact that the converge-cast is the most common communication style in WSNs. In this paper, we investigate, for the first time as far as we know, the feasibility of acquiring network coding benefits in converge-cast, and we present that with the ubiquitous convergent structures self-organized during converge-casting in the network, the reliability benefits can be obtained by applying linear network coding. We theoretically derive the network coding benefits obtained in a general convergent structure, and simulations are conducted to validate our theoretical analysis. The results reveal that the network coding can improve the network reliability considerably, and hence reduce number of retransmissions and improve energy-efficiency.
