As above, as theoretical basis of critiques against School of Mohism, the researcher summarized the positions of the elder Confucian scholars including Meng Zi. In the body of text, taking it as promises, the researcher examined the critiques against Mo Tzu and School of Mohism as well focusing on the aspects and development of the theory of rejecting heterodoxy which had been introduced and strongly argued from the end of Goryeo kingdom to the late Joseon period. The summary of the body of this text is as follows: In the old literatures prior to Goryeo Kingdom, the researcher couldn't find any cases that either the School of Mohism or Mo Tzu including the Hundred Schools of Thought had been rejected explicitly. Having reached the end of Goryeo and the beginning of Joseon period, Meng Zi's viewpoints on the theory of rejecting heterodoxy had begun to emerge and come into play with the progress of accepting Neo-Confucianism, and, these critiques against Yang Zhu and Mo Tzu being given, the scholar-literati circle had started rejecting Buddhism and Lao Tzu. Basically the contents of the critiques against the School of Mohism in the early period of Joseon were in succession to Meng Zi's theory of rejecting heterodoxy and the views and thoughts of the elder Confucian scholars including Han Yu rather than any specific critiques against Mo Tzu' ideology itself. Until entering the middle of Joseon period, the critiques against the School of Mohism had been used as a tool to promote Confucianism in an affirmative manner, while arguing strongly against the viewpoint of Han Yu in the first place. Particularly, not only the original text of the Mo Tzu's writings were directly quoted, although it was partial, but also the contents of the critiques against the School of Mohism had been developed and stretched to the extent of their entire ideological system. Having approached to the late period of Joseon, the critiques against the School of Mohism had begun to be linked to those critiques against the study of state examination or of sentence patterns including Catholic Church, furthermore the critics raised their harsh tones against the irregularities of the society at large like the issue of corruptions of the government officials of those days instead, although they still had firmly stood on the ground of the theory of rejecting heterodoxy. Those scholars that belonged to the School of Practical Learning, in particular, said in justification of the School of Mohism arguing that the major ideologies of Mo Zi had usefulness in the real world, also they even evaluated that Meng Zi ' critiques against the School of Mohism were immoderate. To sum up, characteristics of scholars in the Joseon period to understand and critique the School of Mohism are that ideologies of Mo Tzu were mostly used as a tool for the sake of critiques against heresies in other sectors of society based mainly on Meng Zi's theory of rejecting heterodoxy, rather than opposing views against the ideologies or philosophies of the School of Mohism itself. Meanwhile, however, on the plus side, the critics praised Mo Tzu's individual efforts in order to put his ideology of peace into practice apart from the ideological system of the School of Mohism. Also, having reached the late period of Joseon, the researcher was able to have discovered the fact that the writings of Mo Tzu had been used as historical materials in order to ascertain historical truths of Confucian Scriptures, rather not having it regarded as an ideology text.
In this paper, the global study trends for material behaviors are investigated regarding the static and dynamic hardenings and final fractures of marine structural steels. In particular, after reviewing all of the papers published at the 4th and 5th ICCGS (International Conference on Collision and Grounding of Ship), the used hardening and fracture properties are summarized, explicitly presenting the material properties. Although some studies have attempted to employ new plasticity and fracture models, it is obvious that most still employed an ideal hardening rule such as perfect plastic or linear hardening and a simple shear fracture criterion with an assumed value of failure strain. HSE (2001) presented pioneering study results regarding the temperature dependency of material strain hardening at various levels of temperature, but did not show strain rate hardening at intermediate or high strain rate ranges. Nemat-Nasser and Guo (2003) carried out fully coupled tests for DH-36 steel: strain hardening, strain rate hardening, and temperature hardening and softening at multiple steps of strain rates and temperatures. The main goal of this paper is to provide the theoretical background for strain and strain rate hardening. In addition, it presents the procedure and methodology needed to derive the material constants for the static hardening constitutive equations of Ludwik, Hollomon, Swift, and Ramberg-Osgood and for the dynamic hardening constitutive equations of power from Cowper-Symonds and Johnson-Cook.
When steel tube as a column is filled with concrete, it is common that the load-bearing capacities of CFST(Concrete Filled Steel Tube) column are increased substantially, And the CFST column can obtain a capacity of fire resistance without any additional detail on the surface of the steel tube for fire protection. In order to clarify the behavior of CFST column during fire occurrence, a theoretical study is performed, that is, a thermal analysis is used to find temperature gradient dependent on the time on the steel tube and the infilled concrete. N-M (axial force-moment) interaction curves are summarized under the consideration for time dependent variation. The material properties of concrete and steel in accordance with a temperature variation are referred to the existing general data. Thermal transient analyses are performed by finite element method through ANSYS and then these results are verified by comparing with the existing test results. On the basis of analytical results, load-carrying capacities (N-M interaction curves) are calculated by numerical analysis method.
Many pressure vessels for the hot H$\sub$2//H$\sub$2/S service are made of 2+1/4Cr-1Mo steel with austenitic stainless steel overlay to combat agressive corrosion due to hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen dissolves in to materials during operation, and sometimes gives rise to unfore-seeable damages. Appropriate precautions must, therefore, be taken to avoid the hydrogen induced damages in the design, fabrication and operation stage of such reactor vessels. Recently, hydrogeninduced cracking (or Disbonding) was found at the interface between base metal and stainless weld overlay of a desulfurizing reactor. Since the stainless steel overlay weld metal is subjected to thermal and internal-pressure loads in reactor operation, it is desirable for the overlay weld metal to have high strength and ductility from the stand point of structural safety. In section III of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Post-Weld Heat Treatment(PWHT) of more than one hour per inch at over 1100.deg. F(593.deg. C) is required for the weld joints of low alloy pressure vessel steels. This heat treatment to relieve stresses in the welded joint during construction of the pressure vessel is considered to cause sensitization of the overlay weld metal. The present study was carried out to make clear the diffusion of carbon migration by PWHT in dissimilar metal welded joint. The main conclusion reached from this study are as follows: 1) The theoretical analysis for diffusion of carbon in stainless steel overlay weld metal does not agree with Fick's 2nd law but the general law of molecular diffusion phenomenon by thermodynamic chemical potential. 2) In the stainless steel overlay welded joint, the PWHT at 720.deg. C for 10 hours causes a diffusion of carbon atoms from ferritic steel into austenitic steel according to the theoretical analysis for carbon migration and its experiment. 3) In case of PWHT at 720.deg. C for 10 hours, the micro-hardness of stainless steel weld metal in bonded zone increase very highly in the carburized layer with remarkable hardening than that of weld metal.

The objectives of this study were to explore theoretically the factors that were associated with role conflict of rural extension educators, to investigate the consequences of this conflict, and to suggest possible solutions to the role conflict. This study was carried out through literature review. The findings from this study were as follows : 1) The causes of role conflict were divided into individual characteristics and social or organizational characteristics. Existing research papers examining the cause of rural extension educators' role conflict had focused mainly on individual characteristics. Therefore, social characteristics of the role conflict should be included in future research activities. 2) The consequences of role conflict were made up of individual dimensions and organizational dimensions. However, pervious researches on rural extension educators' role conflict had dealt with the individual dimensions only. Therefore, the consequences of organizational dimensions should be added to future researches. 3) Revision of roles and job specifications, developing professional competencies, and raising achievement motivation were some of the possible solutions to rural extension educators' role conflict. These solutions, if managed effectively, may improve the performance of extension organizations, as well as that of the individuals by solving the role conflict of rural extension educators.
The palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes(where, $([M(L)_2X_2]$, M=Pd(II), Pt(II); L=isoxazole(isox), 3,5-dimethylisoxazole(3,5-diMeisox), 3-methyl, 5-phenylisoxazole(3-Me, 5-Ph-isox), and 4-amino-3,5-dimethylisoxazole (4-ADI); X=Cl, Br) with isoxazole and its derivatives were investigated on antitumor activity by MM2 and EHMO calculation. Because for all the complexes the ${\sigma}MO$ energy level $(E_{{\sigma}(M-X)})$ between $d_x^{2-}_y^2$ orbital of central metal and px orbital of halogen atom is less than ${\sigma}MO$ energy level $(E_{{\sigma}(M-N)})$ between $d_x^{2-}_y^2$ orbital of central metal and px orbital of N atom, without exception. And judging, from the lower $(E_{\'{o}(m-x)})$ value in trans, the bonding strength was found to be weaker in trans isomer than in cis. For the Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes which have planar ligands, it was shown that for all the complexes dissociation of X-atom in the Pd(II) complexes is easier than that of X-atom in the Pt(II) complexes in both cis- and trans-complexes. Therefore it suggests that the easier dissociation of $X^-$ ion has some relations with antitumor activity, and a linear equation with correlation coefficient of 0.96 was found between ${\Delta}E_{{\sigma}(N-X)}(E_{{\sigma}(M-N)}-E_{{\sigma}(M-X)})$ and inhibitory activity coefficient, logIA.
The conformations of several carbene-olefin-transition metal complexes[$(CO)_4M$-(CHX)olefin] (X: $OCH_3,\;NHCH_3,\;SCH_3$, M: C, Mo, W) have been studied by means of Extend Huckel calculations. In the case of $d^6$ transition metal octahedral complexes, it is shown that the two main factors which determine the optimal conformation are metal-to-ligand back-donation and direct ligand-ligand interaction at the metal, but the ligand-ligand interaction dominates the situation for a metal that is coordinated to $\pi$ acceptor ligands and to $\pi$ donor group on the carbene. The relative amounts of both factors depend strongly on the electronic nature of the ligands at the metal. The greater electron donating ability of nitrogen stabilizes amino-substituted carbene complexes compared with their alkoxyl substituted analogues. This interaction is optimal when the $\pi$ systems of the carbene and olefin are coplanar. The introduction of the $\pi$ donor group on the carbene carbon increases also the importance of the ligand-ligand interaction.
Magnetite was chosen as a typical adsorbent to study its phosphate adsorption capacity in water body with low concentration of phosphorus (below $2mg\;PL^{-1}$). Magnetite was collected from Luoyang City, Henan Province, China. In this research, three factors have been studied to describe the adsorption of phosphate on magnetite, which was solution concentration (concentration ranging from 0.1 to $2.5mg\;PL^{-1}$), suspension pH (1 to 13) and temperature (ranging from $10^{\circ}C$ to $40^{\circ}C$). In addition, the modified samples had been characterized with XRD and FE-SEM image. The results show that iron ions contains in magnetite were the main factors of phosphorus removal. The behavior of phosphorus adsorption to substrates could be fitted to both Langmuir and Freundlich isothermal adsorption equations in the low concentration phosphorus water. The theoretical saturated adsorption quantity of magnetite is 0.158 mg/g. pH has great influence on the phosphorus removal of magnetite ore by adsorption. And pH of 3 can receive the best results. While temperature has little effect on it. Magnetite was greatly effective for phosphorus removal in the column experiments, which is a more practical reflection of phosphorous removal combing the adsorption isotherm model and the breakthrough curves. According to the analysis of heavy metals release, the release of heavy metals was very low, they didn't produce the secondary pollution. The mechanism of uptake phosphate is in virtue of chemisorption between phosphate and ferric ion released by magnetite oxidation. The combined investigation of the magnetite showed that it was better substrate for water body with low concentration of phosphorus.

Lead halide perovskites CH3NH3PbX3 (X=Cl, Br, I) have received great interest in the past few years because of their excellent photoelectronic properties as well as their low-cost solution process. Their theoretical efficiency limit of the solar cell devices was predicted around 31% by a detailed balance model for the reason that exceptional light-harvesting and superior carrier transport properties. Additionally, these excellent properties contribute to the applications of optoelectronic devices such as LASERs, LEDs, and photodetectors. Since these devices are mainly using perovskite thin film, one of the most important factor to decide the efficiency of these applications is the quality of the film. Even though, optoelectrical devices are composed of polycrystalline thin film in general, not a single crystalline form which has longer carrier diffusion length and lower trap density. For these reasons, monodomain perovskite thin films have potential to elicit an optimized device efficiency. In this study, we analyzed the crystallography of the in-plane aligned perovskite thin film by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and selected area electron diffraction (SAED). Also the basic optic properties of perovskites were checked using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV-Vis spectrum. From this work, the perovskite which is aligned in all directions both of out-of-plane and in-plane was fabricated and analyzed.

This research aims to study the new paradigm of NDE measurement which allows the identification of defect locations and sizes of a certain structure by measuring its surface temperature after applying heat. STS which has a certain defect is applied by the heat of 70000W by a heater. Its difference of STS surface temperature is measured by using Infrared thermography. The estimated result of STS experiment and that of theoretical analysis of Flex-PDE are compared and analyzed to diagnose STS defect. Moreover, this study can save time and money and improve accuracy in contrast to the existing ultrasonic NDE experiment. In addition, the new paradigm of NDT/NDE by reverse-engineering will be valid if the data of thermal analysis and temperature distribution from the specifications of many materials is accumulated and verified.
