인버터 구동 시스템을 위한 새로운 공간벡터 Random PWM기법 (A New Space Vector Random PWM Scheme for Inverter Fed Drive Systems)

  • 본 연구에서는 펄스의 위치를 랜덤하게 함으로써 효율적은 RPWN (Random PWM)을 구현할 수 있는 새로운 공간 벡터 RPPWM(Random Position PWM)방식을 제안하였다. 제안한 방식은 마이크로 컨트롤로 적용하기 쉬운 공간벡터 변조에 의하여 각 상의 듀티비를 연산한 다음, 스위칭 순서를 유지하며 각 3상 펄스들의 위치를 변조구간내에서 임의의 위치에 랜덤하게 배치함으로써 RPWM을 구현하는 방식이다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 MATLAB/SIMULINK를 이용하여 펄스위치의 랜덤화 공각벡터 변조, 인버터 및 3상 유도전동기를 포함하는 전체 시스템을 모델화하였다. 종전의 공각벡턱 PWM 그리고 제안된 RPPWM에 의한 인버터 출력 전압 전류의 고조파 성분을 시뮬레이션에 의하여 비교 검토하였으며 제안된 방법의 유용성을 입증할 수 있었다.

  • 제주지역에 설치된 풍력발전기는 이미 제주지역의 공급량을 초과하여, 버려지고 있는 실정이다. 이에 정부는 기술개발 사업을 통해 2MWh급 ESS(energy storage system)를 설치하여 버려지는 전력을 충전하고, 전기자동차 충전스테이션에 활용하는 연구를 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2MWh급의 ESS를 안정적으로 설치하기 위해, Matlab Simulink를 이용하여 전기자동차 충전 모델과 ESS방전 모델을 모델링하고 시뮬레이션 하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해, 2MWh급 ESS가 다양한 시나리오에서 안정적으로 동작하는 것을 검증하였다.

  • This Paper focuses on modeling and simulation to analyze the characteristic of hybrid vehicle. The system includes proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC), photovoltaic generator(PV), lead-acid battery, motor, vehicle and controller. Main electricity is produced by the PEMFC and battery to meet the requirements of a user load. When vehicle is parked in a sunny place, extra power is generated by the photovotaics and is charged in a battery for next drive. Further we evaluate usefulness of this hybrid vehicle by using ADVISOR - the advanced vehicle simulator written in the Matlab/Simulink environment. According to simulation results, the extra power obtained by photovoltaics which have been explored in nature conditions can help to reduce the electrical load of PEMFC and increase the efficiency (over 30%).

Analysis of Stability of PV System using the Eigenvalue according to the Frequency Variation and Requirements of Frequency Protection

  • Use of photovoltaic (PV) power generation system will become more widespread in the future due to anticipated cost reduction in PV technology. As the capacity of PV systems increases, a variation of power system frequency may prevent the stable output of PV system. However, the standard for the frequency protection of distributed generation in Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO)'s rule does not include the setting of frequency protection. Therefore, this paper analyzes the correlation between the frequency protection requirements and the stability of grid-connected PV system for the adjustable operating setting of frequency protection. The distribution system interconnected with 3 MW PV system is modeled by Matlab/Simulink. The various values of frequency are simulated. For studied cases, the stability of PV system is analyzed. It is concluded that the setting of frequency protection is necessary to consider the stability of PV system.

PID 제어기를 이용한 호버링 AUV의 경유점 추적 (A Way-Point Tracking of Hovering AUV by PID control)

  • For the tracking of the way-points of hovering AUV (HAUV), we suggest a simple PID controller. The way-points are designed to approach to a virtual underwater structure and the heading angles at each way-point are set to look at the structure in the face. The proposed controller consists of a vertical controller to maintain the depth and pitch angle, and a horizontal controller to move to the desired position as well as to adjust the heading angle of the HAUV. In the simulation using Matlab/Simulink, the HAUV with the proposed PID controller is shown to track all the way-points within 1 m range while maintaining proper heading angle at each way-point.

  • In this paper a simulation program for the powertrain control of a gasoline engine with automatic transmission is presented, The object-oriented programming approach has been pursued, and MATLAB/ SIMULINK was adopted for its environment. The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate the programmability of a control system in the object-oriented fashion so that the transferability of the objects is guaranteed. The program developed in the paper was applied to a gasoline engine and the mathematical models used in the paper were just adopted from the literature. It is shown that the simulation results and real experimental results coincide well. Therefore, it is expected that the program or objects made in the paper are useful for the automotive engineers when they design a new engine/transmission system or modify a part of existing system.

  • The wavelet packet transform has been applied for QRS detection with squaring, window integration, and impulse filter techniques to cut down the false detection of QRS complex. This real time QRS detection has been performed on Simulink and Matlab. The correct QRS detection rates have reached to 99.75% in the experiment with 15 sets of ECG data from European ST-T database which are kept in Physionet.

  • This paper analyzes the steady-state operating characteristics of doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) and fixed-speed induction generator(FSIG) in wind turbine system. It also presents a modeling and simulation of a grid-connected wind turbine generation system for dynamics analysis on MATLAB/Simulink, and compares the responses between DFIG and FSIG wind turbine systems with respect to wind speed variation, 3-phase fault and 1-phase ground fault of the network. Simulation results show the variations of generator's active/reactive output, rotor speed, terminal voltage, fault current, etc. Case studies demonstrate that DFIG illustrates better performance compared to FSIG.

  • In this paper, The Next Generation High Speed Railway inverter system based on IPMSM drives using Random Pulse Position Modulation is proposed to reduce electromagnetic noise. To verify the validity of study, the simulator for the proposed system is designed and impplemented. Simulation program is developed using Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results of the proposed system was compared with the system using conventional method. The results show that the voltage and current harmonics of the proposed Next Generation High Speed Railway Inverter system. significantly decrease and spread into wide band area by the proposed Random Pulse Position modulation technique based on Space Vector Modulation method.

  • This paper deals with the speed sensorless vector control of Induction motor using speed observer based on adaptive mathod. This system is modeled by using the system level simulator, Matlab/Simulink. The model consists of SVPWM Inverter Model. Induction Motor Model and speed obsever based on adaptive method. The results show the effectiveness of Matlab/Simulink in simulation of the Induction Motor.
