The Ministry of Information and Communication announced "The Guideline for Management of Software Project" in October 2006. The public employees(acquirer) have to manage software projects with this guideline. The guideline was based on the International standard(ISO/IEC 12207) and IEEE standard(IEEE/EIA 12207), and was developed by considering the domestic software industry environment. The guideline can help to establish a software acquisition process for appropriate management of software projects, and the process can increase the management productivity of software projects. This study provides the explanation about the guideline with terms of 5W1H(who(user), what(summary), when(time to apply), where(domain of application), why(objective), how(method of use)) for understanding of the guideline.

Architectural design work depends on information made from earlier phases such as feasibility study, planning, and conceptual design. This design guideline information includes design objectives, requirements, and constraints made by decision-making, and has great influence on various works of latter phases of design process. Despite of this cognition, however, the lack of design guideline information management still remains as one among the critical issues in design area. Design tools with design guideline information do not also address the issue of interoperability throughout the life-cycle of buildings. The purpose of this research is to propose a method for design guideline information management by using the IFC technology and IFC Property set (Pset) extension mechanism. The method comprises defining and mapping the practically used design guideline items and extensible IFC data model, and includes the management of relationships that exist between design guideline information and design model in the IFC data model.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) results in high morbidity and mortality among patients both domestically and globally. The Korean clinical practice guideline for COPD was revised in 2014. It was drafted by the members of the Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, as well as participating members of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, Korean Physicians' Association, and Korea Respiration Trouble Association. This revised guideline covers a wide range of topics, including the epidemiology, diagnosis, assessment, monitoring, management, exacerbation, and comorbidities of COPD in Korea. We drafted a guideline on COPD management by performing systematic reviews on the topic of management with the help of a meta-analysis expert. We expect this guideline will be helpful medical doctors treating patients with respiratory conditions, other health care professionals, and government personnel in South Korea.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop an evidence-based guideline for stoma management providing institutional policy, assessment, complications and follow-up care. Methods: The guideline adaptation manual consisting of 23 steps developed by the National Evidence-Based Healthcare Collaborating Agency was used for this study. It presents an overview of the process used to develop the guideline and lists specific recommendations from the guideline. Results: It provides 55 recommendations that include the following 8 topics: 1) Organization and policy recommendations, 2) Preoperative nursing; Ostomy education, stoma site marking, 3) Ostomy formation, 4) Postpoperative nursing; education, assessment, high output stoma management, 5) Selection of ostomy products, 6) Colostomy irrigation, 7) Stomal and peristomal complications, 8) Follow-up care after discharge. Conclusion: The guideline can be used to address stoma management in hospital settings. The intent of the guideline is to provide information that will assist healthcare providers to manage adult patients with ostomies, prevent or decrease complications, and improve patients' outcomes.

This study was evaluated the indicators of GRI guideline LA6-LA9 for industrial safety sanitation field on 22 domestic sustainable management reports and 46 overseas reports published by companies in 2007 and 2008, was developed new indicators with emphasis on industrial safety sanitation act, and was assessed whether they are released. As a result, LA6(Percent of total workforce represented in formal joint management-work health and safety committees that help monitor and advise on occupational health and safety programs) was evaluated highest in release ratio on whether to release the reports by each indicator of industrial safety sanitation field using domestic sustainable management report GRI guideline, and in the case of overseas companies, it was evaluated that there is no companies that release all from LA6 through LA9 among GRI guideline, but it was grasped that the ratio of partial release is high. As for the release of indicators was developed with the use of industrial safety sanitation act of 22 domestic companies, the release of indicator No. 1(report and industrial disaster record) and 10(health diagnosis) of industrial safety sanitation act was high. This study is meaningful in that it analyzed the industrial safety sanitation field of sustainable management report(CSR) that has not been attempted so far with the use of new indicators developed with emphasis on GRI guideline and industrial safety sanitation act.

Purpose: This study was done to develop an evidence-based nursing clinical practice guideline for Moisture associated skin damage (MASD) prevention and management for patients in Korea. Methods: The guideline adaptation process was used and conducted according to the guideline adaptation manual developed by the Korean Hospital Nurses Association. It consists of three main phases and 9 modules including a total of 24 steps. Results: The adapted MASD clinical practice guideline consisted of 4 sections, 8 domains and 28 recommendations. The number of recommendations in each section was: 7 on MASD assessment, 14 on MASD prevention and management, 4 on education, and 3 on organizational policy. Of the recommendations, 3.6% were marked as A grade, 28.6% as B grade, and 67.8% as C grade. Conclusion: This MASD clinical practice guideline is the first to be developed in Korea. The developed guideline will contribute to standardized and consistent MASD prevention and management. The guideline can be recommended for dissemination and utilization by nurses nationwide to improve the quality of MASD prevention and management. Regular revision is recommended.

The standard of performance-based seismic design accepted by Ministry of Construction and Transport requires to install and manage earthquake instruments for the facilities of seismic category I and to acquire earthquake response data of these facilities at earthquake events. So detailed standard and guideline for installation and management of earthquake instruments for each facilities according to the seismic design standard are getting ready. This paper presents the part of installation locations of sensors in that detaile standard and guideline.

Purpose: This study was done to develop an evidence-based practice guideline for catheter dysfunction in hemodialysis patients. Methods: Development of the guideline process was done according to the De Novo development version 1.0 by NECA which consists of 12 steps. Results: The developed guideline consisted of 5 domains and 14 recommendations. The number of recommendations for each domain were: 3 on catheter dysfunction assessment, 1 on conservative management of catheter dysfunction, 7 on drug management of catheter dysfunction, 1 on catheter function test and 2 on maintenance management. Of the recommendations, 7.15% were marked as A grade, 52.85% of B grade, and 50% of C grade. Conclusion: Findings in this study indicate that this guideline can be added to the evidence-based practice guidelines for fundamentals of practice and that this guideline can be disseminated to nurses nationwide in order to improve the care of hemodialysis patients with catheter dysfunction.

Asthma is a prevalent and serious health problem in Korea. Recently, the Korean Asthma Guideline has been updated by The Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (KATRD) in an effort to improve the clinical management of asthma. This guideline focuses on adult patients with asthma and aims to deliver up to date scientific evidence and recommendations to general physicians for the management of asthma. For this purpose, this guideline was updated following systematic review and meta-analysis of recent studies and adapting some points of international guidelines (Global Initiative for Asthma [GINA] report 2014, National Asthma Education and Prevention Program [NAEPP] 2007, British Thoracic Society [BTS/SIGN] asthma guideline 2012, and Canadian asthma guideline 2012). Updated issues include recommendations derived using the population, intervention, comparison, and outcomes (PICO) model, which produced 20 clinical questions on the management of asthma. It also covers a new definition of asthma, the importance of confirming various airflow limitations with spirometry, the epidemiology and the diagnostic flow of asthma in Korea, the importance and evidence for inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and ICS/formoterol as a single maintenance and acute therapy in the stepwise management of asthma, assessment of severity of asthma and management of exacerbation, and an action plan to cope with exacerbation. This guideline includes clinical assessments, and treatment of asthma-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease overlap syndrome, management of asthma in specific conditions including severe asthma, elderly asthma, cough variant asthma, exercise-induced bronchial contraction, etc. The revised Korean Asthma Guideline is expected to be a useful resource in the management of asthma.
