A Study on the Larionov & Goncharova's Costumes for Arts Performance - Focused on Rayonism & Ballets Russes - (라리오노프와 곤챠로바의 공연 예술의상 연구 - 광선주의와 러시아 발레를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research was to re-illuminated the artistic value of costumes that had shared identical history with human beings through the formation and the progress of the newly introduced Russian avant-garde an. This resulted from the fact that the Russian avant-garde art changed the human esthetic sense through the style of art that Larionov and Goncharova introduced in the 20th century. The research method defined the formation and the progress of the development of the Rayonism centering the works of art by Larionov and Goncharova. Based on this method, larionov and Goncharova designed the set and the costumes for the Ballets Russes of Serge Diaghilev and studied the molding characteristics of the costumes worn in the performing an. The result were as follows. First of all, Larionov's costumes of art were all manufactured based on the theme of nature and genesis. In other words, Larionov represented the sun as a humanistic god through the white night, the natural weather condition of northern Russia. His costumes also displayed the symbolic meaning of the personification of animals like birds and cats, which emphasized the importance of both nature and tradition. However, he used Rayonism expression when he designed costumes by applying the nature themes. On the other hand, Goncharova applied the Spanish passion, the Russian folk art lubok, and goldern cockerel or religious icon-paintings in her costumes. she pursued straight lines and abstract shapes in her costume design. her design displayed the Rayonism influence through the separation between the lines and the surfaces, whic defined the costumes as a decorative art experiment. Therefore, the study of Larionov and Goncharova had one realize that Rayonism was not only an art form of Avant-garde, but it also became the basis of the molding character of all the artworks. Larionov and Goncharova reflected the miracle of the transformation of the 20th century in their costume designs.

  • Intumescent inorganic and organic coatings which dintr one from the other by the type of gas formers and the mechanisms of foam formation have been obtained and investigated. Inorganic intumescent coatings are the compositions based on water glass and mineral additives with different dispersity. Mineral additives contain adsorbed and absorbed water and carbonates which are destructed with the carbon dioxide and water evolution during the flame action on coating. The decreasing of mineral additives particle sizes under the mechanical milling with the fraction precipitation promotes the foam coke formation with less defects. Here the main structure of comparing compositions does not change. In organic coatings based on epoxy-polymers the polyammonium phosphate additive is used. It is the cabonization catalyst and the foam agent. The polyammonium phosphate of various dispersity employed is uniformly distributed on the polymeric matrix. The decreasing of the particle sizes leads to the increasing of the fire resistant properties of the intumescent coa-ting. The fire resistant analysis of the coating during more than an hour: the coating back side the temperature on plastic or wooden materials does not exceed 423K, and on metal-573K.

Structural analysis of Precipitates in a Nickel based Cast Single Crystal of CMSX 6 (니켈계 초합금 CMSX 6 단결정 주조조직의 석출물구조 분석)

  • A single crystal cast blade was manufactured by CMSX 6, one of the first generarion nickel based single crystal superalloys by the selector method in a vacuum furnace. The single crystal has been grown with cooling rate of 2.5 mm/min, after pouring the molten alloy of 163$0^{\circ}C$ to the mold heated to 150$0^{\circ}C$. The cast structure could be classified into matrix (dendrite) and eutectic regions in ${\gamma}$'shape and size. The eutectic region showed higher Ti content. As the additional results of ${\gamma}$'precipitates by EPMA and CBED analysis the ${\gamma}$'size was less than 0.5~0.7$\mu\textrm{m}$, showing the chemical composition close to Ni$_3$Al of Ll$_2$ lattice structure. But ${\gamma}$'size has increased to bigger than 1.0$\mu\textrm{m}$, being near to eutectic region, changing its shape to bar or huge block types. These showed the chemical structure near to Ni$_3$Ti of D $O_{24}$ lattice structure. Therefore, ${\gamma}$'morphology of dendrite and eutectic regions depends absolutely on its chemical composition and lattice structure.
