As a free creature that can fly in the sky, the bird has been an object of admiration and mystery and a mediator between human beings and the heavens. This study aims to clarify the aesthetic value of birds through study of the various expressions of the bird image on clothing and by the formative will of designers. Based on the general examination of the bird image through the study of documents, this study is composed of a case analysis, which reveals on modern fashion designs. Additionally, the forms of expression of the bird image are organized according to the stereoscopic expression of shaping, the relief expression of handicraft decoration, the flat expression of surface design, and the characteristic expression of wings and feathers. The aesthetic characteristics revealed by the expression patterns are metaphorical symbolism, surrealistic humor, lyrical naturalness, and fantastical femininity. Since antiquity, the bird image continuously recreated by artists has offered aesthetic value in terms of formativeness in the external form and symbolism in the internal form. This study would help to understand the diversity of creation in contemporary fashion design.

본 연구는 예웨이쥐가 제기한 '모노노아와레 미학'의 서정적 표현인 '사람에 대한 감동', '세상에 대한 감동', '자연에 대한 감동' 등 3단계를 기준으로 애니메이션 <천년여우>를 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 예웨이쥐의 모노노아와레 미학적 표현의 ３단계 구성이 애니메이션 <천년여우>에서 어떻게 표현되었는지를 분석함으로써 일본 고전미학이 현대 일본애니메이션에서 폭넓게 응용되고 있는 것을 알 수 있고 또한 모노노아와레가 향후 일본 애니메이션 발전 방향을 제시하는 창조적 요인으로 작용할 수 있는 근거라고 제시하였다. 일본애니메이션 감독 곤 사토시는 일본 특유의 고전미와 애니메이션 요소를 융합, 일본의 민족적 문화 내용을 표현함으로써 관객들로 하여금 일본애니메이션 특징을 보다 깊이 이해할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 그의 대표작 중의 하나인 <천년여우>는 작품 속의 인물, 스토리, 사상내용, 장면 구성 등을 분석한 결과, 예웨이쥐가 제기한 모노노아와레 미학의 3단계를 통해 일본 고전미를 충분히 계승한 애니메이션 작품이다. 이러한 분석을 기반으로 일본의 고전적, 예술적 서정성을 통해 작품 속 농후한 일본 고전 색채와 다채로운 모노노아와레 미학을 확인하였으며 고전 미학적 전통이 현대는 물론 미래의 애니메이션 영화에도 창조적 요인으로 작용할 수 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study is for making new story contents in animation fields through recent theater's animation trends. It is the Anti-Disney which is totally different from the attribute of Disney animation. It has three results as following. The first, Anti-Disneymation reveals the realistic America's problems such as violence, adolescent's loneliness, the slums of black people, etc. Next, animation's main target changed from just for child to for adults using various story themes. Also, the main characters are no longer beautiful and charming one like Disney animation's one and it makes we look at the matter woman another angle and makes totally different story telling. By the results above, we might to making an effort in creating Korean style animation with lyrical expression and cultural assets.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the symbolic meaning in body image and fashion style portrayed in Korea and American movies in aspects of sex, race, nature, and technology. The researcher analyzed movies in Korea and USA, and the results were as follows. In aspects of sex, movies portrayed new masculinity and femininity escaped from previous gender stereotypes, and the clothing styles characterized sex identity and sex roles. In aspects of race, more various races appeared in America movies than Korea＇s, and the appearance and stereotypes related with race were blurred by the globalization and the change of film market environments. In aspects of nature, Korea movie portrayed the human being as lyrical appearance in nature, and America movie expressed the human as a strong men conquering the nature in adventure movie or super human image combined with nature thing which endowed nature＇s superior characteristics to human body in fantasy and science fiction movies. In aspects of technology, the human bodies were described as cyborg, alien, or super human, which symbolized the do-identification in digital world, de-boundarization between human and machines, and the human＇s uncertainty.

The purpose of this study is to consider the health and well-being of singing, an expression activity of language. There are also many studies in which singing activities have a positive effect on individual quality of life and social activities. Therefore, this study attempted to suggest that more effective singing is being performed by increasing empathy through various expressions of onomatopoeia and mimic words. Love Changbu Taryeong (愛倡夫打令) is Korea's traditional representative Gyeonggi folk song. It is a cheerful and lyrical folk song based on the five scale of Sol-ra-do-re-mi. It sings not only human joy, sorrow, and pleasure, but also natural phenomena and scenes. It is an exciting rhythm based mainly on the Gutgeori jangdan (rhythmic pattern, 12/8) but it is a rhythm that you can feel the sadness in it. In particular, various onomatopoeia and mimic words appear in this song, making you think about the fun of singing and the origin of the language. Therefore, this study attempted to examine that more effective singing is becoming more effective by increasing empathy through various expressions of onomatopoeia and mimic words. Colors change in time corresponding with the value system and aesthetic consciousness of the time. The roles that colors play in painting can be divided into the formative role based on the contrast and harmony of color planes and the aesthetic role expressed by colors to represent the objects. The aesthetic consciousness of the orient starts with the Civility(禮) and Pleasure(樂), which is closely related with restrained or tempered human feelings. In the art world of the orient including poem, painting, and music, what are seen and felt from the objects are not represented in all. Added by the sentiment laid background, the beauty of the orient emphasizes the beauty of restraint and temperance, which has long been the essential aesthetic emotion of the orient. From the very inception of oriental painting, colors had become a symbolic system in which the five colors associated with the philosophy of Yin and Yang and Five Forces were symbolically connected with the four sacred animals of Red Peacock, Black Turtle, Blue Dragon, and White Tiger. In this color system the use of colors was not free from ideological matters, and was further constrained by the limited color production and distribution. Therefore, development in color expression seemed to have been very much limited because of the unavailability and unreadiness of various colors. Studies into the flow in oriental painting show that color expression in oriental painting have changed from symbolic color expression to poetic expression, and then to emotional color expression as the mode of painting changes in time. As oriental painting transformed from the art of religious or ceremonial purpose to one of appreciation, the mast visible change in color expression is the one of realism(simulation). Rooted on the naturalistic color expression of the orient where the fundamental properties of objects were considered mast critical, this realistic color expression depicts the genuine color properties that the objects posses, with many examples in the Flower & Bird Painting prior to the North Sung dynasty. This realistic expression of colors changed as poetic sentiments were fused with painting in later years of the North Sung dynasty, in which a conversion to light ink and light coloring in the use of ink and colors was witnessed, and subjective emotion was intervened and represented. This mode of color expression had established as free and creative coloring with vivid expression of individuality. The fusion of coloring and lyricism was borrowed from the trend in painting after the North Sung dynasty which was mentioned earlier, and from the trend in which painting was fused with poetic sentiments to express the emotion of artists, accompanied with such features as light coloring and compositional change. Here, the lyricism refers to the artist's subjective perspective of the world and expression of it in refined words with certain rhythm, the essence of which is the integration of the artist's ego and the world. The poetic ego projects the emotion and sentiment toward the external objects or assimilates them in order to express the emotion and sentiment of one's own ego in depth and most efficiently. This is closely related with the rationale behind the long-standing tradition of continuous representation of same objects in oriental painting from ancient times to contemporary days. According to the thoughts of the orient, nature was not just an object of expression, but recognized as a personified body, to which the artist projects his or her emotions. The result is the rebirth of meaning in painting, completely different from what the same objects previously represented. This process helps achieve the integration and unity between the objects and the ego. Therefore, this paper discussed the lyrical expression of colors in the works of the author, drawing upon the poetic expression method reflected in the traditional Flower and Bird Painting, one of the painting modes mainly depending on color expression. Based on the related discussion and analysis, it was possible to identify the deep thoughts and the distinctive expression methods of the orient and to address the significance to prioritize the issue of transmission and development of these precious traditions, which will constitute the main identity of the author's future work.

The relationships between costumes and literature are the remarkable characteristics in the history of Japanese costumes. Among them, the literary designs which have literary subject matters seem unique to Japan. In Japan, the history of the literary design traces far back and its examples are abundant in various literatures in the Heian era. It is particularly notable that the literary designs take a relatively large part of Kosode pattern in the pre-modern period, the Edo era, which can be cleary seen in Kosodehinagata-bon, a collection of Kosode pattern of those era, in addition to various sources of extant relics or paintings. These literary designs lie the tradition of the literary lyricism as aesthetic sense in the japanese costume history. The literary lyricism means the lyrical mood evoked by literature. The purpose of this study is to examine how the literary lyricism which has supported those literary designs was formed and developed. The literary designs on costumes related with the relationships between literature and formative art, for example painting. Those typical example, which started in the literature tournament, utaawase, was devised for matching up with the character of the assembly. They continued as a sort of the intellectual amusements. In the pre-modern period, the literary designs developed In relation to not only subject matters but those expression. Moreover, it shows the extremely typical example that a series of Kosodehiinagata-bons, consisted solely of literary designs, was enjoyed as a device of reading materials like poem anthology.

본 연구의 목적은 정서 어휘에 반영된 선율에 적합한 화음 구성과 전개의 특성을 조사하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구 1에서는 8명의 음악중재전문가를 대상으로 질문지를 이용하여 정서 어휘의 의미와 선율을 반영하는 화음 구성과 전개를 작곡하고 근거에 대해 서술하게 하였다. 자료 분석은 화음 구성 비율을 백분율로 환산하여 정서 어휘별로 비교하고, 유사한 답변의 내용을 추출하였다. 연구 2에서는 124명의 음악치료와 음악전공자를 대상으로 연구 1의 결과에 따른 정서 어휘별 화음 구성과 전개의 적합성을 조사하고, 타당도의 통계학적 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 기쁨의 어휘는 장화음, 주화음, 연속적인 화음 변화, 화남의 어휘는 단화음, 증화음, 9 11화음, 미해결된 7화음의 전개, 슬픔의 어휘는 단화음, 감화음, 반음계 전개의 사용 비율이 높았다. 타당도 검증 결과, 기쁨(97.2), 화남(75), 슬픔(80.6)으로 나타나 기쁨의 어휘에서만 유의성이 높았다(p<.005). 본 연구의 결과는 노래의 선율 창작시 가사가 전달하는 정서적 측면을 효율적으로 표현하기 위한 화음 사용의 근거자료를 제시한다.

대중영상매체인 애니메이션은 계층, 나이, 국가를 초월한 범세계적 수요에 기반하며 그 사회문화적 영향력은 갈수록 확대되고 있다. 하지만, 현대 대중문화에 있어서 애니메이션의 부정적 영향이 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라, '윤리성의 회복' 이라는 성찰적 관점에서 애니메이션의 역할에 대한 교육적 차원의 토의가 필요한 시점이라 사료된다. 이에, New York Times등 많은 언론으로부터 성공적인 교육 모델로 주목받고 있는 몰몬교 학교인 BYU(Brigham Young University)의 건전한 윤리적 가치관을 담고 있는 학생 애니메이션 작품에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해, 첫째, 애니메이션의 부정적인 영향에 대해 1)폭력성, 2)과다한 선정성, 3)문화간 정체감의 혼란, 4)성차별, 5)왜곡된 역사관을 기준으로 문헌조사를 하였으며, 둘째, BYU의 몰몬교에 바탕한 청교도정신과 애니메이션 학과의 교육과정에 대해 분석한다. 셋째, 이를 바탕으로, 학생 애니메이션 13편의 연출적 특성에 대해 사례조사를 진행한다. 본 연구를 통해, 첫째, 대부분의 애니메이션 작품은 코믹장르로써 어린이 및 동물 캐릭터를 중심으로 가족적이고 서정적인 스토리를 구성하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 스토리 구성에 있어서 우연적 우화적인 사건 전개방식으로 연출되었다. 둘째, 종교학교인 BYU의 종교정신과 다학제적 교육방법이 애니메이션영상 제작에서 윤리적인 표현기법과 기술적 완성도로 연계됨을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해, 실용학문 분야인 애니메이션 교육의 윤리성 회복의 관점이라는 새로운 패러다임 제시와 애니메이션 제작에서 건전한 가치관이 어떻게 내재되는지 살펴보는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다 하겠다.
