Poly(trimethylene terephthalate) 섬유의 물성과 염색성 (The Physical Properties and Dyeability of Poly(trimethylene terephthalate) Fibers)

  • The mechanical properties and dyeability of Poly(trimethylene terephthalate)(PTT) were investigated and compared to PET. Glass transition temperature of PTT was lower than that of PET, because amorphous region of PTT is mote flexible. n has smaller molecular and specific stress and larger strain than those of PET, due to the difference of molecular structure. Dyeing transition temperature of PTT was lower by $20^\circ{C}$ than that of PET. Because PTT has flexible chain and zigzag structure, dyeing Fate of PTT is faster than PET and dyeing of PTT is begun at lower temperature. As the hydrophobicity of disperse dyes increased, the ratio of equilibrium dye uptake on PTT to that on PET was increased.

  • Two pitches with different average molecular structures were electrospun and compared in terms of the properties of their fibers after oxidative stabilization, carbonization, and activation. The precursor with a higher molecular weight and greater content of aliphatic groups (Pitch A) resulted in better solubility and spinnability compared to that with a lower molecular weight and lower aliphatic group content (Pitch B). The electrical conductivity of the carbon fiber web from Pitch A of 67 S/cm was higher than that from Pitch B of 52 S/cm. The carbon fiber web based on Pitch A was activated more readily with lower activation energy, resulting in a higher specific surface area compared to the carbon fiber based on Pitch B (Pitch A, 2053 $m^2/g$; Pitch B, 1374 $m^2/g$).

로봇청소기용 BLDC 모터 (BLDC Motors for Robot Vacuum Cleaners)

  • This paper is presented for robot vacuum cleaners using BLDC motors. Recently, BLDC motors which require smaller size, lower sound noise and higher efficiency have been placed in high value-added products including robot vacuum cleaners, vehicle cars and other industry applications. The DC motors have higher sound noise, higher height of the size and lower efficiency due to electro-magnetic structure using the brushes and the commutators. The proposed BLDC motors are appropriate for the motors adequate in regards to higher efficiency, longer life cycle time, and smaller height of the size when robot vacuum cleaners go to some lower height of the space like under sleeping beds and because it's power source is batteries. The paper shows the performance of the BLDC motors designed by the Finite Element Analysis(FEA) of the electro-magnetic field. This paper shows the mechanical structure and the prototype of the motor with the impeller. The performance characteristics of the BLDC motors with the hall sensor controller are verified by the experimental results.

  • TIGBT has some merits which are lower on-state voltage drop and smaller cell pitch, but also has a defect which is relatively lower breakdown voltage in comparison with planar IGBT. This lower breakdown voltage is due to the electric field which is concentrated on beneath the vertical gate. Therefore in this paper, new trench IGBT structure is proposed to improve breakdown voltage In the new proposed structure, a narrow oxide beneath the trench gate edge where the electric field is concentrated is extended into rectangular shape to decrease the electric field. As a result, breakdown voltage is improved to 23%.

  • In case of strong earthquake, upper-sheat wall lowe-frame structures show the weak-story failure at lower part. Where we should guarantee sufficient strength, energy dissipation capacity and ductility. In this study, a typical structure was selected for a prototype and four 1:2.5 scaled models, representing the subassemblages including the interior column and the deep beam, were constructed. Experimental parameters include transverse reinforcement ratio and axial force. The non- linear behavior of the subassemblages subjected to the cyclic lateral displac-ement were evaluated through investigation of the ultimate strength, ductility, load-deformation characteristics. From the results of the tests on 4 specimens, it is concluded that the strength increased as the axial force increased and the ductility increased as the transverse reinforcement ratio increased.

  • CSR(Common Structure Rules) enter into force on $1^{st}$ April 2006. Generally for double hull tankers of less than 150m in length, the Rules of the individual Classification Society are to be applied. Where high tensile stresses act through an intermediate plate, increased fillet welds or penetration welds are to be used longitudinal/transverse bulkhead primary support member end connections to the double bottom. If workers have begun to make used of established procedures between corrugated BHD and lower stool joint, first to welding on groove of face and then it has to gouging to blow on groove of root. So amount of man-hour increased, productivity secreased.

가동 브라킷 구조물의 내구 성능 향상 방안 연구 (A Study on the Durability Improvement of Movable Bracket Structures)

  • 전차에 전기를 공급하는 장치인 가동 브래킷 구조물은 전차가 통과할 때 반복적인 하중을 받는다. 이러한 반복하중은 가동 브래킷 구조물을 구성하는 나사들을 풀리게 하는 가진원이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전산 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 반복적인 진동에 의한 볼트 풀림에 대한 원인과 대책에 대하여 연구하였다. 그 결과 전산 시뮬레이션 모델이 구축되어 가동브래킷 구조물의 동적응답 해석이 가능하게 되었다. 가동 브래킷 구조물의 볼트 풀림에 대한 주된 가진 주파수 영역이 200 Hz 미만임을 확인하였으며, H 빔의 강성을 증가함으로써 볼트풀림을 방지할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 볼트 풀림 원인이 되는 300, 600Hz 대역에서 발생하는 하부밴드 브라킷의 진동 모드를 확인 하였으며, 강성을 올리는 것은 200Hz 이상에서의 볼트 풀림을 방지할 수 있는 효과를 나타냄을 확인하였다.

  • 콘크리트충전강관(Concrete Filled Tube 이하 CFT)구조는 강관 속에 콘크리트를 충전시킨 구조물로서 강관은 콘크리트를 구속시켜 압축내력을 증가시키며 콘크리트는 강관의 국부좌굴을 감소시키는 역할을 한다. CFT구조의 기둥-보 접합부는 강관의 국부좌굴을 방지하기위해 다이아프램이 필요하다. 외측다이아프램 형식은 관통다이아프램 형식보다 콘크리트의 충전성이 좋으나 시공성과 건축설비와 공조하는 측면에서 불편함이 있다. 이 연구는 원형CFT구조의 접합부의 상, 하부에 각각 다른 형식의 다이아프램을 적용시켜 콘크리트 충전성을 개선시킨 구조의 구조성능을 실험과 유한요소해석 프로그램을 통하여 알아보았다. CFT구조 접합부의 상부 다이아프램은 외측다이아프램 형식으로 하고 하부 다이아프램은 관통다이아프램 형식으로 하였다. 이것은 건축물에서 바닥슬래브가 있으므로 상부 다이아프램은 바닥슬래브와 일체가 되고 하부 다이아프램으로 관통다이아프램을 적용하여 건축설비와의 마찰을 피하고자 한 것이다. 결과적으로 충전성을 개선시킨 CFT구조의 구조성능은 상, 하부 모두 관통다이아프램을 적용한 구조와 비교하면 동일 하다는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • To lower the earth resistance shall be one of the most effective method for the prevention of lightening damage on power transmission line. In this report, in order to investigate various characteristic necessary to lowering the earth resistance, the following experiments have been made at 154KV U1San-PoHang T/L, 154KV YoSu-SoonChun T/L and so on. 1. Measurement of Earth specific resistance, 2. Efficiency of Earthing of concrete foundation for steel structure., 3. Efficiency of Earthing with counter poise., 4. Compound impulse test with foundation of steel structure and counter poise. With the above investigate a guidance have been prepared for the effective work-performance of steel structure.

생물학적 DNA 구조와 트러스구조의 융합으로 개발한 바람개비형 모델 선행연구 (Preliminary Development of Pinwheel Model Created by Convergent Truss Structure with Biological DNA Structure)

  • The objective of this study is to find the effective stiffness and compressive strengths of a unit-cell pinwheel truss and double pinwheel truss model designed following a double helical geometry similar to that of the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) structure in biology. The ideal solution for their derived relative density is correlated with a ratio of the truss thickness and length. To validate the relative stiffness or relative strength, ABAQUS software is used for the computational model analysis on five models having a different size of truss diameter from 1mm to 5mm. Applied material properties are stainless steel type 304. The boundary conditions applied were fixed bottom and 5 mm downward displacement. It was assumed that the width, length, and height are all equal. Consequently, it is found that the truss model has a lower effective stiffness and a lower effective yielding strength.
