일본 노인보건시설의 공간구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Composition of Health Facilities for the Elderly in Japan)

  • It is estimated that the need to build health facilities for the elderly will grow in the near future as the Korean society is aging. Thus the study on the spatial composition of 22 facilities as well as on the cases of health facilities for the elderly in Japan, where public health and medicare for aged people are well taken care of, was conducted and the following are the results: 1. As of 2000, there was one facility for every 8,000 and 1,100 aged citizen under long-term care, and these facilities secured beds enough for $8\%$ of those who need long-term care. 2. The spatial composition was categorized into general living space, long-term care, management, provision, and home assistance, and housing was provided. Moreover, the space was divided according to their nature of use, the arrangement, the form of entrance into the building, moving line inside, the relationship with the health facilities and their characteristics are analyzed based on different users, managers, moving line including that of provision of food, the relationship between different spaces with different functions as well as on the relationship between locations of each space. 3. The total capacity, building area and actual area of the welfare facilities for the elderly are analyzed, and area per person, detailed area for each space, percentage of each living space for long-term care patients and characteristics of recuperation room are suggested.

  • 본 연구는 최근 우리의 소통방식에 큰 변화를 불러일으키고 있는 Social Network Service(SNS) 커뮤니케이션 특성이 교수-학생과의 관계형성(교수신뢰, 장기지향성)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하는 연구이다. 연구모형은 커뮤니케이션, SNS, 관계 개발의 기존 연구를 기반으로 작성되었다. 연구를 위해 교수와 SNS를 통해 소통하는 대학생을 대상으로 총 210부의 설문을 배부하여 유효한 195부를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 SmartPLS를 활용하였다. 연구결과 독립변수인 커뮤니케이션의 질, 커뮤니케이션의 빈도, 상호작용성, 개방성은 교수신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 장기지향성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 커뮤니케이션의 질, 커뮤니케이션의 빈도, 개방성이 검증되었으며 상호작용성은 교수신뢰의 매개효과를 통해 장기지향성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

한국연안해역에서의 해면수위의 변동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sea Level Variations in Korean Coastal Area)

  • This paper is to estimate the long and short term variations of mean sea level in Korean coastal waters by identifying interrelations among the mean sea level, atmospheric pressure and air temperature along the coast. For this, long-term tidal data observed at tidal and weather observation stations were brought into a statistical analysis. It was noted that, in a general sense, an inverse relationship exists between the sea level and the atmospheric pressure and a positive relationship between the sea level and air temperature, respectively. The maximum difference of monthly mean sea level was in the range of 21 to 25 cm at the eastern and southeastern coasts, meanwhile more than 30 cm being in both in southern and western coasts. It was also noted that mean sea level continues to rise in a long-term basis. Long-term variation of mean sea level trends to rise 0.10 ∼ 0.44 cm per year for each region. However, the long-term variation of mean sea level in the isolated islands shows a different trend, Ullngdo being 0.41 cm fall per year and Chejudo being 0.44 cm rise per year.

K-REITs의 차입이자율과 금리 변수 간 관계 분석 (A Study on the relationship analysis between the K-REITs loaning rate and interest rate variables)

  • 본 연구는 국내 리츠가 운용된 2002년부터 2015년까지의 리츠사의 타인자본에 대한 차입이자율을 월별 자료로 구축하여 차입이자율의 흐름과 금리변수와의 관계를 분석하였다. 선행연구를 검토한 결과 리츠사의 차입이자율은 리츠 내부의 고유요인에 의해 결정되기도 하지만 거시경제변수 중 금리변수와 연계성이 높게 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 K-REITs 차입이자율과 금리 변수 간에 ARDL(autoregressive distributed lag: 자기회귀시차) 모형을 설정하여 장기관계를 분석하였으며, ARDL-ECM 모형을 기반하여 단기 관계도 검토하였다. 실증분석 결과 K-REITs 차입이자율과 국고채 3년, 국고채 5년, 회사채(AA-,3년), 기업일반자금 대출금리에서 장기 공적분 관계가 형성되었으며, 이는 K-REITs 차입이자율이 장기금리 변수와 동조하고 있음을 보여준다. 또한, 기업일반자금 대출금리는 장기 관계와 단기 조정 과정에서도 K-REITs 차입이자율과의 연계성이 높게 나타났다. REITs가 금융권 차입에 관한 사항과 경영계획 수립 시에 기업일반자금 대출금리와 같은 장기금리 변수의 동향 등을 고려하여 의사결정 한다면 K-REITs 발전에 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

Family Firm Governance and Long-term Corporate Survival: Evidence from Korean Listed Firms

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine whether family firm governance is related to long-term corporate survival. To find out whether and why family firms have higher chances of long-term survival compared to non family firms, this study analyzes the relationship between some governance characteristics that are prevalent in family firms and corporate long-term viability. Design/methodology/approach - This study utilizes a sample of 285 family firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) to probe the influence of governance characteristics on corporate survival. This study conducts Cox proportional hazard regression analysis to estimate the influences on the survival duration. Findings - The results indicate that firms with particular governance characteristics show higher long-term survivability. Specifically, the probability of firm's long-term survival is increased when the CEO is the largest shareholder, which may be related to CEO's stewardship attitudes. Research implications or Originality - This study has significance in that it examines the direct causal variables that enhance long-term corporate viability through a large scale empirical examination. Also, the study findings provide some clues as to why certain family firms outlive non-family firms.

Exploring Long-Term Performance in Design-Build Best-Value Evaluation Criteria

  • Improving long-term performance in highway projects is an imperative goal for public administrations. Project delivery and procurement methods might provide an opportunity to align design and construction processes with this goal. Previous studies have explored whether project delivery methods impact the long-term performance of highway projects. However, these studies did not focus specifically on how core elements within the procurement might relate to long-term performance. Thus, this research aims to fill this gap by exploring to what extent and how long-term evaluation criteria are considered in design-build best-value procurement of highway projects. To this end, content analysis was conducted on 100 projects procured between 2009 and 2019 by 19 DOTs across the U.S. The analysis of 365 evaluation criteria found that (1) roughly 11% of them related to long-term performance. (2) The weight given to these criteria in the overall technical proposal was lower than 30%. (3) Sixty-five percent (65%) of long-term evaluation criteria focused on design while 15% related to materials and technology, respectively. The results of this study are a first steppingstone to initiate a deep exploration of the relationship between procurement practices and actual project performance. Currently, with sustainability and life cycle assessments being top concerns in infrastructure projects, this line of research might be of particular interest to DOTs and highway agencies across the U.S. and worldwide.

와인공급업체와 외식업체간 B2B 관계마케팅 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors of Business to Business Relationship Marketing in Wine Supplier and Food Service Firm Relationship)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 외식업체의 와인구매담당자, 즉 소믈리에, 매니저 등을 대상으로 고객장기 지향성에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 관계마케팅 요인을 파악함과 동시에 장기지향성이 형성되는 과정에서 관계의 질인 신뢰와 몰입의 역할을 규명함으로써 내수 경기침체와 치열한 경쟁으로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있는 와인공급업체의 영업활성화를 위한 마케팅 전략 수립에 도움을 주고자 함이다. 설문조사는 2010년 1월 15일부터 2월 13일까지 30일간 실시하였으며, 서울 시내 파인다이닝 레스토랑, 캐주얼 다이닝 레스토랑, 와인바 등의 와인구매담당자를 대상으로 하였다. 자료의 처리는 SPSS 15.0과 AMOS 7.0 통계패키지를 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인요인분석, 경로분석을 사용하였다. 그 결과, 관계마케팅 요인 중에서 커뮤니케이션과 판매자 전문성 요인은 신뢰와 정서적 몰입을 통하여 장기지향성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

노인장기요양보험제도가 가족관계의 변화에 미치는 영향에 대한 이중차이모델 분석 (The Difference-in-Difference Model Analysis about the Effects of Long-Term Care Insurance on Family Relationships' Change)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 생태체계이론을 적용하여 노인장기요양보험제도라는 거시체계가 가족관계라는 미시체계에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 『한국복지패널(KWPS: Korean Welfare Panel Study)』 2차년도(2007년)와 4차년도(2009년) 데이터를 활용하여 노인장기요양보험제도의 이용자 및 그 가구원(실험집단)과 비이용자 및 그 가구원(통제집단)으로 구분한 후, 노인장기요양보험제도 이용 전후의 가족관계의 변화를 살펴보았다. 이중차이모델(difference-in-difference model) 분석결과, 생태체계이론은 노인장기요양보험제도와 가족관계를 설명하는 이론이라고 할 수 있다. 주목할만하며 새로운 발견은 우리나라의 노인장기요양보험제도가 소득 효과(income effect)가 아닌 독립효과(independent effect)를 갖는다는 것이다. 이러한 결과는 무엇보다도 점점 더 가족의 의미가 퇴색되어 가족관계가 약화되고 있기 때문이다. 또한 한국의 노인장기요양보험제도가 사회보험으로서의 특징을 온전히 갖추지 못하였기 때문으로 추정된다. 노인장기요양보험은 제도의 포괄성, 급여대상의 보편성, 급여의 적절성, 서비스 접근성 측면에서의 제도개선이 필요하며, 가족친화적 사회복지제도로의 변모가 절실히 요청된다.

고객과의 관계에 영향을 미치는 의류점포 판매원의 속성 (The Influences of Attributes of Salespersons Working at Apparel Store on Relationship with Consumers)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of attributes of salespersons working at apparel store on relationship with consumers, to gather information what kind of attributes of salespersons get preference to consumer, and to conclude a certain relationship in the result coming from both attributes of salespersons and degree of relationship quality. The questionnaire survey was carried out 571 20's & 30's men and women living around Seoul and Kyong-gi province areas during July in 200l. SAS and AMOS program were used to analyze gathered data. The results of this study were as follows. First, in the case of apparel product, construction and long-term maintenance of relationship with consumers were very essential to gain profit in the future. Second, attributes of salespersons seemed to play an important role on constructing and maintaining long-term relationship with consumers. Third, external attributes like outward appearance do not affect to degree of relationship quality with consumer. rather, internal attributes - expertise, similarity, customer orientation, ethics and likeability, influence on the degree of relationship quality.

The Impact of Capital Structure on Firm's Profitability: A Case Study of the Rubber Industry in Vietnam

  • This study aims to examine and measure the impact of capital structure on the profitability of companies in emerging markets. The research sample includes eighteen rubber companies listed on the Vietnam stock exchange from 2015-2019. After collecting the research data, it was imported into excel to calculate the criteria for the research model. By using Stata 16 software, the study selected a data processing model and evaluated the relevance of the regression analysis model. The research results show that the profitability of listed rubber companies in Vietnam (measured by return on equity (ROE) has a positive relationship with the debt-to-asset ratio but has a negative relationship with the long-term debt-to-asset ratio. The results also show a positive impact of firm size and revenue growth on profitability while liquidity and the ratio of tangible fixed assets to total assets do not affect significantly. These results are consistent with most of the previously published studies. However, in contrast to many previous studies, our study shows that the long-term debt-to-assets ratio has a negative effect on profitability while the debt-to-asset ratio has a positive effect. This is entirely consistent with the characteristics of long-term debt use in emerging markets.
