A Study on Design of Interconnection Middleware Adaptor for Intelligent Home Network Devices (지능형 홈네트워크 디바이스간의 상호연동 미들웨어 Adaptor 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an intelligent home network middleware interconnection adapter between devices was designed. Home network middleware interconnection adaptor is present in UPnP, LonWorks, LnCP, HAVi, etc. Various types of middleware and for use of a number of middleware is required to modify an existing system. But this study designed by middleware interconnection adaptor a number of existing middleware systems without modification was designed to allow interlocking. The Performance evaluation of designed interconnection middleware adaptor produced by various companies was used devices, experimental device was implemented. And mobile application was developed by using developed interconnection middleware adaptor. Also the performance was evaluated in a mobile application.

  • 본 논문에서는 홈 자동화 네트워크으로 가장 각광을 받고있는 론웍스(Lonworks) 시스템을 구성 관리하는 홈 서버 플랫폼의 새로운 구조를 제안한다. Echelon사에서 제안하는 Lonworks 시스템의 구성관리 도구로서의 LonMaker는 자체적으로 개발한 LNS (Lonworks Network Service)라고 하는 비 표준화된 구성 관리 기술을 통해서 네트워크를 관리하도록 지원하며, 상기한 LNS를 인프라로 활용하는 도구로서, LNS는 빌딩 혹은 가정 내에 Lonworks 네트워크로 연결되어 있는 디바이스들에 대한 정보를 DB화하여 구축된 자료를 기반으로 하여 디바이스들간에 연동이 가능하도록 지원한다. 그러나 고가이며, 구성 관리를 한 디바이스 개수당 가격을 별도로 지불해야 하는 로열티가 있고, 이 역시도 하드웨어 제약사양인 뉴런칩(Neuron Chip)을 사용해야 한다는 점에서 개발자로 하여금 많은 부담을 주고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 홈 자동화 네트워크 개발 시에 노드 구조를 각 응용목적에 맞도록 보다 유연성 있게 구현할 수 있도록 하는 네트워크 구성 관리 기능을 갖춘 흠 서버 플랫폼을 제안한다 제안된 흠 서버 플랫폼을 통해 제어 네트워크의 다양화와 고성능 처리의 장점을 얻을 수 있었고, 기존의 고가의 론웍스 LonMaker 소프트웨어를 사용하지 않고도 단지 리눅스 상의 무료 컴파일러인 gcc 컴파일러를 통해 홈 서버 노드를 구성할 수 있으므로 시스템 개발에 대한 비용을 많이 줄일 수 있으며, 리눅스 OS를 사용하는 홈 자동화 홈 서버 시스템으로의 파급효과가 클 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 가상 디바이스 네트워크에 대한 개념과 틀을 제시하였다. 디바이스 제어 네트워크로서 LonWorks 네트워크를 선택하고, 데이터 네트워크로는 이더넷을 선택하여 가상 디바이스 네트워크를 구성하였다. 가상 디바이스 네트워크의 전달 특성을 데이터 네트워크의 전달 특성과 함께 조사하였다. 가상 디바이스 네트워크 상에서의 실시간 제어를 위해 불특정한 시간 지연을 보상할 필요가 있다. 유한한 H₂노옴을 갖는 Smith 예측 제어기를 이용한 직류서보모터의 제어실험을 통하여 제안된 제어기의 타당성을 검증하였다.

Web Information Systems for Safety and Health Monitoring in Subway Stations

  • In this study, a framework for web-based information system in VDN environment for safety and health monitoring in subway stations is suggested. Since physical variables that describing safety and health need to be closely monitored in multiple locations in subway stations, concept of distributed monitoring network using wireless media needs to be implemented. Connecting remote wireless sensor network and device (LonWorks) networks to the IP network based on the concept of VDN can provide a powerful, integrated and distributed monitoring performance, making a web-based information system possible.

  • This paper describes the method to control the multimotor drive system with network. The LonWorks network which is a leading industrial control network is applied to the yard crane position control system driven by three motors. The host computer is able to control and monitor three motor drive systems in a yard crane through network. The performance of proposed method is verified on experiments with simulator of yard crane.

  • This paper describes the characteristics of two methods about providing information needed for propulsion device control in train. The one is to use new way using the communication network for transmission of control information, the other is traditional way using hardwire connection. And this paper describes the communication interface technique between TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System) and VVVF inverter system with LonWorks network adapted to SMG line 6 which has been developed. With this technique, an inertia load test carried out for the traction control environment and it is expecting a field test at SMG line 6.

  • We report on the luminescent enhancement of the $Er^{3+}$ -doped germano-silicate fibers by the incorporation of Au nanoparticles in the core of the fibers. The absorption peak appeared at 498.4nm was found due to the surface plasmon resonance of Au nanoparticles. The incorporated Au nanoparticles were found to be effective absorbents for hydroxyl groups to enhance the luminescence of $Er^{3+}$ ions when pumped with the 980nm laser diode.

  • Recent trends require that access to the device/equipment information be provided from several locations or anywhere in the enterprise. One example is virtual machine/manufacturing system (VMS) where predictive maintenance is performed both on factory floor and in remote site through internet [1]. Internet access is increasingly available and affordable, and along with the "internet" is the backbone of modern enterprise data networks.
