Zigbee 모듈을 이용한 실시간 센서 모니터링 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Real-time Sensor Monitoring System on Zigbee Module)

  • 향후 USN 기술은 가정, 물류, 교통, 행정, 보건, 복지 및 환경 등의 다양한 분야에 적용될 것이고, 다가올 미래 사회의 기반 인프라로 자리 잡게 될 것이다. 본 논문은 IEEE 802.15.4 기반 센서네트워크 구조를 분석하고, Zigbee 모듈을 이용한 센서 데이터를 실시간으로 감지하는 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. 센서 데이터를 실시간으로 모니터링하는 시스템을 구현하기 위해 리눅스 기반 개발 환경을 구축하여 센서별 컴포넌트를 설계하였다. 본 논문의 연구 결과는 조명 시스템, 침입탐지, 화재 감지, 그리고 비정상 상태의 감지 및 통보 등의 분야에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 물류, 의약품, 병원 등 다양한 환경에서 RFID의 도입이 확산되고 있다. RFID의 도입을 위해서는 EPC정보서비스(EPCIS)등과 같은 핵심 RFID S/W의 성능 및 적합성 평가가 선행되어야 하며, 이때 다양한 종류의 비즈니스 이벤트 데이터셋이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 응용환경을 시뮬레이션하는 접근방법을 통해 보다 실제와 유사한 RFID 비즈니스 이벤트 데이터셋을 생성하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 모델은 페트리넷을 기반으로 하여 다양한 RFID 환경에 대한 유연한 표현이 가능한 특징이 있다. 또한, 실제 RFID 환경의 시뮬레이션이 가능함에 따라 RFID 도입여부 검토에서도 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

A Study on the Prospect of the Maritime Transport Market Integration in the Northeast Asia

  • Though the issue on the integration of maritime transport market in Northeast Asia has a long history, there has never been any notable progress. Especially the lack of country-wise analysis on the barriers of market integration appears as a serious problem for more concrete discussion and the design of the roadmap for market integration. This study analyzes the maritime market of each country in the aspect of infrastructure provision, the development of the industry, change of institutions, and network connectivity and compare the competitiveness of 3 countries in the Northeast maritime market. Furthermore this study analyzes the barriers for market integration on the basis of bilateral relation, i.e. Korea-Japan, Korea-China and Japan-Korea. Based on these analyses, this study finds out the fact that the most serious barrier for market integration among 3 countries is the egocentric policies for the protection of industries in each country rather than any other institutional or physical barriers. In conclusion, this study argues that 3 countries should try to find out a third policy alternative which can make 3 countries enjoy the win-win game, such as route integration among 3 countries and joint venture for the liners operated in the region.

A Hierarchical Hybrid Meta-Heuristic Approach to Coping with Large Practical Multi-Depot VRP

  • Under amazing increase in markets and certain demand on qualified service in the delivery system, global logistic optimization is becoming a keen interest to provide an essential infrastructure coping with modern competitive prospects. As a key technology for such deployment, we have been engaged in the practical studies on vehicle routing problem (VRP) in terms of Weber model, and developed a hybrid approach of meta-heuristic methods and the graph algorithm of minimum cost flow problem. This paper extends such idea to multi-depot VRP so that we can give a more general framework available for various real world applications including those in green or low carbon logistics. We show the developed procedure can handle various types of problem, i.e., delivery, direct pickup, and drop by pickup problems in a common framework. Numerical experiments have been carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Moreover, to enhance usability of the method, Google Maps API is applied to retrieve real distance data and visualize the numerical result on the map.

E-Navigation을 위한 항만 정보네트워크 구현방안 (Implementation Plan of Port Information Network for an E-Navigation)

  • 본 논문에서는 이네비게이션(E-Navigation)의 기반이 될 수 있는 정보 네트워크의 구현방안을 제시한다. 정보통신 기술을 이용하여 E-Navigation 정보네트워크의 기반이 되는 네트워크 체제를 구성하고, 해상교통지원시스템을 정비함과 동시에 종합적인 항만 정보네트워크를 구축한다. 그리고 항만관련 종사자에게 선박간, 선박과 육상간 무선 네트워크 이용을 권고하여 그 효율성을 확대할 것이다. E-Navigation을 위한 정보네트워크의 구축은 항만의 물류흐름과 교통안전을 위하여 초고속 무선인터넷 인프라를 구축하는 것으로서, 해상에서의 적용이 더욱 효과적인 무선 정보네트워크 인프라를 항만 내에 도입하는 것 다. 인터넷이 가지 고 있는 무한한 잠재성, 응용성, 공유성을 이용하므로 해상 교통 흐름 및 교통안전에 획기적 인 변화를 가져올 수 있을 것이다.

로짓모형을 이용한 화물 품목별 화물운송 시간가치 산정 연구 (Estimating Value of Time for Freight Transportation in Freight Items using Logit Model)

  • 통행과정의 시간 절감은 경제성 분석의 큰 편익으로 산정되는데 반하여, 화물의 운송 시간 절감에 대한 의식은 미비하다. 화물의 시간 가치를 사회적 측면에서 살펴볼 때, 운송 시간 절감이 가져오는 이익은 물류 업계에 시사하는 바가 크다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 화물운송의 시간 가치를 산정하여 운송 시간 절감의 방향을 제시하도록 한다. 품목별 시간가치를 도출하기 위한 방법으로 로짓모형을 이용하였다. 연구의 범위는 지역적으로는 경기도, 화물의 종류는 내수 5가지 품목으로 정하였으며 본문에 이용된 자료는 2007년을 기준으로 한다. 산정 결과 평균 19,946(원/대-시간)을 나타냈으며 전자부품이 가장 높은 시간가치를 나타냈다. 다음으로는 자동차 및 자동차 부품, 고무플라스틱, 정밀기기, 섬유제품 순으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 우리나라 화물운송 시간 가치의 현주소를 점검하고 물류 인프라 구축 방향을 제시하도록 한다.

Impacts of the Digital Economy on Manufacturing in Emerging Asia

  • The advent of digitalisation has transformed economies into more integrated, but increasingly complex systems. This new trend has brought dynamic changes in the manufacturing sector through advanced ICT infrastructure, smart factories, digitally-controlled logistics, and skilled ICT-labour. The impacts of the digital economy on manufacturing could be best illustrated through "Industry 4.0." With this wave of technological advancement, countries aim to establish an industrial ecosystem where every manufacturing process and function is connected and interacts through digital networks. Industry 4.0 presents opportunities for Emerging Asia, as the region has emerged as a fast-growing manufacturing hub and particularly a production base for ICT goods. However, growing production capacity, increased exports, and increases in FDI in the field of ICT goods manufacturing have so far contributed little to the development and diffusion of ICT. A huge gap exists in the ICT uptake amongst countries and between small and large firms. This paper highlights the level of Industry 4.0 readiness of Emerging Asia and key factors that determine its enhancement.

AHP를 활용한 북한 경제개발구의 산업 입지선정 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Location Selection of North Korean Economic Development Zone Using AHP)

  • Economic Development Zone(EDZ) in the province is one of the foreign policy for economic development of North Korea. North Korea has promulgated 27 Economic Development Zones(5 EDZs as central level and 22 EDZs as provincial level) to promote economic growth through the expansion of external opening policy. EDZs of the provinces play an important role in North Korea's national and regional economic growth. The purpose of this study is to select analytical criteria that can be quantified when considering the location conditions of North Korean economic development zones when domestic companies advance into North Korea according to the progress of inter-Korean economic cooperation, and derive the relative importance between the criteria. After that, based on this, we intend to quantify the evaluation of the location priority of the economic development zone. In this study, through AHP analysis results, when domestic companies enter North Korea, we derive the importance and preference of location selection factors when considering the location conditions of North Korean economic development zones. Taking into account the reality of North Korea when the Korean company entered the North economic development zone following location for evaluation. That is, logistics and transportation, industrial infrastructure, competitiveness, and management incentives. And 14 sub-factors were selected and AHP analysis was performed.

한국과 러시아간 경협 발전에 관한 연구 : 주요 산업들과 EAEU-FTA 추진을 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of Economic Cooperation between Korea and Russia : Focusing on Major Industries and Promotion of EAEU-FTA)

  • The government of Vladimir Putin, which has been ruling Russia for a long period since 2000, has recently strived for the balanced development of underdeveloped regions and sustainable economic growth. Therefore, along with energy development in the Far East and Siberian regions, the government is promoting development projects on logistics and distribution infrastructure. It is also expanding the construction of innovative districts to develop cutting-edge technologies in the outskirts of Moscow. Amid these moves, South Korea is pushing for the New Northern Policy aimed at widening economic cooperation with European and North Asian countries to expand the scope and influence of the country's trade market. The previous year of 2020, marked the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Russia. In this context, this study was initiated to propose various measures for promoting economic cooperation and expanding trade between South Korea and Russia. Therefore, this study examined Russia's political and economic environment and explored its major industrial environment with a focus on the energy industry, innovative districts and infra facility. The study also examined the progress of a FTA between the Eurasian Economic Union, in which Russia currently takes the lead, and South Korea and recommended several measures to upgrade and accelerate economic cooperation between the two countries through research on a range of topics.

The Effect of Economic and Infrastructure Factors on the Formation of Electric Vehicle Supply Chain and Optimal Location Selection: Korea-US FDI

  • Purpose - This study aims to present the changes and directions in the automotive supply chain in the face of changes in the global supply chain caused by external factors and the integration of industries resulting from internal factors. Assuming FDI in the Korean automotive industry in the US, this study analyzed the influential factors over the long term and derived the optimal location. Design/methodology - For this analysis, the characteristics and current status of the automotive industry are presented. Additionally, the study emphasizes the necessity and direction of change. The factors influencing Korea-US FDI in the automotive industry and the electric vehicle industry were analyzed through panel analysis. The optimal location from the perspective of distribution costs was selected using linear programming under the assumption that local demand will be replaced by local production in the future. Findings - This study found that the electric vehicle supply chain will change with the characteristics of the electric and electronic industries rather than with the traditional automotive industry. Additionally, in deriving the optimal location, the study emphasized the proximity to the consumption market. Originality/value - The analysis method and conclusions of this study not only present the influential factors and direction of FDI in the automotive industry but also can be applied to other industries. Moreover, the study provides practical and policy implications for industries and governments considering FDI in the US.
