최근 지구물리 물리탐사 분야에서 경사각과 방위각 정보는 시추공 물리검층 및 물리탐사 자료보정을 위한 시추공 편차검층, 이동형 실시간 자료획득 시스템, 기타 지구물리 모니터링 시스템 등 다양하게 활용되면서 그 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 특히 최근 셰일가스의 개발이 가능하게 한 방향시추 기술에서도 경사각과 방위각 정보는 필수일 정도로 그 응용범위가 매우 넓다. 따라서 여러 분야에 응용될 수 있는 경사각과 방위각 측정 시스템의 초소형 옥외 저전력 운용이 절실해졌다. 본 논문에서는 최신 CMOS 저전력, 고성능 MCU 및 멤스(MEMS) 자세방위기준장치(AHRS)를 도입하여 초소형, 저전력으로 제작된 다용도 야외시험용 실시간 경사각과 방위각 연속 측정 시스템 개발 연구의 결과를 제시하고자 한다. 시스템은 최소 지름 42 mm의 존데 내에 설치될 수 있도록 초슬림 형태로 제작되었으며 실시간 데이터 획득이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 엔코더, DGPS 연동으로 운용 확장이 가능하여 다양한 응용이 기대된다.

The geological research as a part of HLW disposal program in Korea is carried out to provide necessary data for the establishment of the reference repository system in term of design and safety assessment in the crystalline rock terrains. Six deep boreholes were drilled to obtain hydrogeological and hydrochemical data from Jurassic granites in the Yuseong area, Korea. The core observation, televiewer logging and hydraulic testing were carried out during and after drilling and multi-packer system were installed in the boreholes of 500m depth for hydraulic and hydrochemical monitoring including environmental isotopes. The integration of hydrogeochemical and hydrodynamic data would be built greater confidence for the understanding of groundwater system in fractured rock mass. This geoscientific program could be possible to suggest a general guideline to develop the reference disposal concept of high-level radioactive waste in Korea.

A database called Home Location Register(HLR) plays a major role in location management in mobile cellular networks. The objectives of this paper are to identify the problems of the current HLR system through rigorous analysis, to suggest solutions to them. The current HLR backup method is a process of simply writing the changed memory SLD block to disk, which has a problem in maintaining database consistency. Since information change and backup are performed separately by separate processes, there is a risk of information inconsistency when an error restart occurs. To solve this problem, a transaction concept was introduced for subscriber-related operation functions and a recovery method through logging and checkpointing was introduced. The subscriber related functions of tasks terminated normally by the suggested process are recovered with consistency even after system restarts. Performance is also not affected seriously because disk tasks for log occur with only subscriber related functions.

인터넷의 다양한 서비스의 등장으로 사용자의 수는 기하급수적으로 늘어나고 있으며, 이러한 경향으로 좀더 효율적으로 이용할 수 있는 시스템 및 서비스가 날로 증가하는 추세에 있고, 또한 계속적으로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 서비스 중에서 현재 가장 많이 이용되고 있는 것이 메일시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 메일서버의 Virtual Domain 기능을 이용하여 메일사용자를 위한 계정관리가 필요 없도록 지원하고 사용자가 받을 메일을 미리 사용자에게 분류하는 기능을 지원하여 대량의 메일을 효율적으로 처리하도록 하였다.

핸드폰 진단시스템의 경우에는 원천기술이 Qualcom차에 의존적이기 때문에 Qualcom사에서 제공되어지는 핸드폰 진단 프로그램을 국내 업체들이 기술이전을 통해서 자사 핸드폰에 적당하게 수정되어 사용하고 있다. 하지만 그 기능이 한정적이기 때문에 사용에 많은 불편함이 있다. 본 논문에서 구현한 핸드폰 진단시스템은 이러한 Qualcom DM 스펙의 미공개와 국내 기술부진 때문에 초래한 문제의 해결점으로 스펙의 개발단계부터 구현까지 하여 단말기의 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 테스트 장비로 사용될 수 있으며 단말기의 고장과 진단을 빠르고 쉽게 할 수 있다. 또한 향후 프로토콜의 보완, 수정, 발전에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 연구를 수행하였다.

Energy saving is as important as developments of green energy and alternative energy. This paper describes design of hybrid type streetlight for railway station with renewable energy as photovoltaic, wind, secondary battery. In designing hybrid type streetlight for railway station, generation energy with renewable energy and reliability is strongly needed to meet the demand of railway station. In order to achieve the high performance of a streetlight, photovoltaic, wind and secondary battery system, PV tracker, monitoring and GUI system with logging function are designed. To verify of performance of hybrid type streetlight for railway station, we have demonstration test to get of generation energy and flow of energy and the results are present in this paper.

In order to provide design concept and guidelines for the user interface of MIDAS$^{TM}$(Medical Image Display and Archiving System), a questionnire survey and empirical study were conducted. User and task requirements were analyzed based upon usrvey results. The empirical study was done on the 1.0 version of MIDAS to find out the influence of user charactenistics (i.e.job, experiences, etc.) and UI design factors(i.e. layout, wording, procedures) on various usability measures(i.e. performance, satisfaction). To perform empinical tests, eight task scenarios were selected and user interactions were recorderded using an auto-logging software. The results show that the doctor group requires more learning time. Also, eight types of user errors such as commision, omission, repeat were identified and the causes of the errors were analyzed related to UI design factors. UI design guidelines were suggested for a new version of medical image filing system.m.

본 논문에서는 일반 사용자 수준에서 시스템 콜을 제어하여 리눅스 기반 자원을 보호하고 해당 시스템 콜 정보를 기록 및 관리하는 방법과 그에 따른 구성을 기술한다. 제안된 방법은 사용자의 시스템 콜을 인터셉트하여 자원 접근을 제어한다. 시스템 콜에 관련된 정보들은 커널 수준에서 필터링 되며, 필터링 된 데이터는 로그 자료로 저장된다. 로그 자료로 저장된 데이터는 시스템 침입을 판단하는 침입탐지시스템 (Intrusion Detection System)의 하부구조로 사용할 수 있도록 구성한다. 또한, 본 고에서 제안된 방법은 리눅스의 코드(Code) 수정을 요구하지 않고 동적으로 적용이 가능하며. 임의의 사용자의 특정 시스템 콜에 대해서 접근제어 기능을 수행할 수 있는 장정을 가지고 있다.

Many researches are going on with regard to issues and problems related to mobile database systems, which are caused by the weak connectivity of wireless networks, the mobility and the portability of mobile clients. Mobile computing satisfies user's demands for convenience and performance to use information at any time and in any place, but it has many problems to be solved in the aspect of data management. The purpose of our study is to Implement Real-Time Mobile Query Processing System(MQPS) to solve problems related to database hoarding, the maintenance of shared dataconsistency and the optimization of logging, which are caused by the weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client server environments. In addition, we proved the superiority of the proposed MQPS by comparing its performance to the C I S(Client-Intercept-Srever) model.

본 논문은 울진 원자력 발전소 건설현장의 자료관리업무를 검토, 분석하여 전산화 대상업무의 논리체계를 세워 카드장표에 의한 수작업 관리방법을 전산 자동화처리가 가능하도록 시도한 것이다. 마스타화일의 레코드구조는 서지데이타, 자료송부관련데이타, 배부관련데이타, 구역구분데이타, 건설후 자료관리 데이터 등으로 구성하였으며 배부, 화일, 검색업무 및 통계, 보고서 출력업무의 논리체계를 설계하였다. 특히 건설중의 자료관리목적이외에 건설후 자료관리를 위한 색인매개요소로서 시스템코드, 한전설비분류번호, 자재연결코드, 보존기간 등을 건설중의 자료입수 시점에서 입력하도록 설계하여 발전소 운전중의 자료검색요구를 사전에 준비하고자 하였다. 또한 본 연구의 결과는 자료관리시스템과 자재관리시스템 사이에서의 상호참조가 용이하도록 설계하였다.
