The Bayesian approach is a suitable alternative in constructing appropriate models for observed record values because the number of these values is small. This paper provides an objective Bayesian analysis method for upper record values arising from the Rayleigh distribution. For the objective Bayesian analysis, the Fisher information matrix for unknown parameters is derived in terms of the second derivative of the log-likelihood function by using Leibniz's rule; subsequently, objective priors are provided, resulting in proper posterior distributions. We examine if these priors are the PMPs. In a simulation study, inference results under the provided priors are compared through Monte Carlo simulations. Through real data analysis, we reveal a limitation of the appropriate confidence interval based on the maximum likelihood estimator for the scale parameter and evaluate the models under the provided priors.

Current increasingly information systems log historic information in a systematic way. Not only workflow management systems, but also ERP, CRM, SCM, and B2B systems often provide a so-called 'event log'. Unfortunately, the information in these event logs is rarely used to analyze the underlying processes. Process mining aims at improving this problem by providing techniques and tools for discovering process, control, data, organizational, and social structures from event logs. This paper focuses on the mining social networks. This is possible because event logs typically record information about the users executing the activities recorded in the log. To do this we combine concepts from workflow management and social network analysis. This paper introduces the approach and presents a tool to mine social networks from event logs.

Most of the current cultivation log is recorded by growers manually or whose environment information is input based on the grower's own judgement. It is not easy for growers to record the image of disease and insect pests in the cultivation log. In this regards, u-Farm cultivation log management system based on Web 2.0 and smart phone is introduced in this paper, that is used for the effective cultivation management and grower's convenience. In the system, the value of environment information is transmitted to servers via sensors. It designs and implements Web 2.0 Flex so as to make the cultivation log more reliable and provide users with active, convenient GUI in case the log is recorded by desktop. In this process, detailed modules are designed by object-oriented UML considering the reusability and maintenance of the system. Moreover, the system introduced in this paper is proved to be more excellent by the qualitative assessment compared with the other researches.

This study was carried out with the goal of improving accessibility for farmers in record management. The pre-survey for farm records found that the main reasons for lack of records were "no need" and "no time" to keep such records. Based on the results of the pre-survey of smartphone-based farm recordkeeping, the major composition articles were management books, daily work logs, analysis books and additional books compiled by setting log in, notice and suggestions. The number of smartphone-based farm record books was 4,430 nationwide. We also updated farms keeping records on seven occasions for user convenience. Regional differences in the utilization ratio of record books showed that continuous promotion and education aimed at users were key points of success for farm recordkeeping books.

기존 데이터베이스 시스템에서 사용되는 회복 기법들은 시스템 파손 시 빠른 회복을 지원하기 위해서 물리적 로깅(physical logging)을 사용한다. 그러나 이런 기법들을 클라이언트/서버 환경에 그대로 적용할 경우에는 여러 가지 문제점이 발생된다. 물리적 기법의 경우에는 로그 분석 시 before-image와 after-image의 중복이 발견된다는 문제점이 있으며, 기존의 대부분 회복 기법들은 시스템 파손 시 전방향(forward)으로 로그를 분석함으로써 불필요한 회복 동작이 존재할 수 있다. 또한 시스템 회복 시 로그 접근 횟수의 증가로 인해 회복 속도가 늦어지는 문제점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 이런 문제점을 해결하고 클라이언트/서버 환경에 적합한 회복 기법을 제안하기 위해 중복된 before-image를 제거하고 재수행 전용 로그 레코드(redo-only log record)만을 로그에 기록함으로써 로깅 오버헤드를 감소시키면서 로그 분석 시간을 감소시킨 역방향 로그 분석 기법을 제안하였다. 또한 로그 분석 시 유지해야 하는 자료구조의 오버헤드를 최소화했다. 마지막으로 제안된 기법과 기존의 기법을 비교 분석하였다.

Many applications require users to log-in, some applications can allow users to use the same account is active on multiple devices at the same time. On location-based application that serves to record the movement of the position, account is active on multiple devices could not be permitted because it causes a different location data from multiple devices, so the location of the users become ambiguous. This paper describes a simple protocol to prevent users from using their accounts on multiple devices at the same time. This Protocol will turn off one account on a device when the account log-in on new devices.

The intelligent life-log system proposed in this paper is intended to identify and record a myriad of everyday life information as to the occurrence of various events based on when, where, with whom, what and how, that is, a wide variety of contextual information involving person, scene, ages, emotion, relation, state, location, moving route, etc. with a unique tag on each piece of such information and to allow users to get a quick and easy access to such information. Context awareness generates and classifies information on a tag unit basis using the auto-tagging technology and biometrics recognition technology and builds a situation information database. In this paper, we developed an active modeling method and an application that recognizes expressionless and smile expressions using lip lines to automatically record emotion information.

In this paper, we derive recurrence relations for moments of lower generalized order statistics within a class of doubly truncated distributions. Inverse Weibull, exponentiated Weibull, power function, exponentiated Pareto, exponentiated gamma, generalized exponential, exponentiated log-logistic, generalized inverse Weibull, extended type I generalized logistic, logistic and Gumble distributions are given as illustrative examples. Further, recurrence relations for moments of order statistics and lower record values are obtained as special cases of the lower generalized order statistics, also two theorems for characterizing the general form of distribution based on single moments of lower generalized order statistics are given.

In ubiquitous environments, clients move between domains freely and its activities in the other domains are growth. Like this environment, the service provider makes access or activity records what they are provided to clients. This record can make a privacy problem to recognize a person or trace some works. So this record must be kept and managed by user instead of the service provider. In this paper, we propose a system that can gather those records from the service provider to home domain server which client's managing by themselves. In addition, if remote domain manager requests that record by the legal process, system can transfer only a range of information which allowed by client to keep personal privacy.

The Personal Software Process(PSP) is a rigorous, measurements based process designed to help software developers produce high-quality codes. Learning PSP requires substantial and tedious record keeping including clerical computations with plenty of data occurred at every project. The required task reduces the educational effect and motive by time consuming characteristic and easy occurrence of errors. To alleviate these problems, a web-based PSP log system having streamlined mechanism of data manipulation is designed and implemented at this study. Three years of experiment shows that the system not only improves productivity and accuracy of the process but also allows students and instructors to focus on learning and teaching PSP, rather than PSP data collection.
