Purpose : Patient immobilization is crucial factor for radiation therapy. Generally, we have been used vacuum bag immobilization device(Vac-Lock) for whole body immobilization. In order to easily set up of vacuum bag(Vac-Lock), we made a 3DCA(3-Dimensional Conformal Accessary). The purpose of this study is evaluation of effectiveness of 3DCA using Vack-Lock for patient immobilization. Materials and Methods : We made 3DCA(3-Dimensional Conformal Accessary) tool of wooden boards. The reasons to choice of wooden boards are its easily handling nature and cheap expenses. Results : (1) We reduced man power from $5{\sim}6$persons to 1person to make immobilizations, (2) Shortened work time from 1hour to within 10minutes. (3) Avoid a collision to treatment gantry head. (4) Its shapes are smart and clean. Conclusion : We have made and used 3DCA(3-Dimensional Conformal Accessary) tool was very effective and convenience for the patients and users.
Since database management systems(DBMSS) have limited lock resources, transactions requesting locks beyond the limit mutt be aborted. In the worst carte, if such transactions are aborted repeatedly, the DBMS can become paralyzed, i.e., transaction execute but cannot commit. Lock escalation is considered a solution to this problem. However, existing lock escalation methods do not provide a complete solution. In this paper, we prognose a new lock escalation method, adaptive lock escalation, that selves most of the problems. First, we propose a general model for lock escalation and present the concept of the unescalatable look, which is the major cause making the transactions to abort. Second, we propose the notions of semi lock escalation, lock blocking, and selective relief as the mechanisms to control the number of unescalatable locks. We then propose the adaptive lock escalation method using these notions. Adaptive lock escalation reduces needless aborts and guarantees that the DBMS is not paralyzed under excessive lock requests. It also allows graceful degradation of performance under those circumstances. Third, through extensive simulation, we show that adaptive lock escalation outperforms existing lock escalation methods. The results show that, compared to the existing methods, adaptive lock escalation reduces the number of aborts and the average response time, and increases the throughput to a great extent. Especially, it is shown that the number of concurrent transactions can be increased more than 16 ~256 fold. The contribution of this paper is significant in that it has formally analysed the role of lock escalation in lock resource management and identified the detailed underlying mechanisms. Existing lock escalation methods rely on users or system administrator to handle the problems of excessive lock requests. In contrast, adaptive lock escalation releases the users of this responsibility by providing graceful degradation and preventing system paralysis through automatic control of unescalatable locks Thus adaptive lock escalation can contribute to developing self-tuning: DBMSS that draw a lot of attention these days.
This paper presents a fast switching CMOS frequency synthesizer with a new coarse tuning method for PHS applications. To achieve the fast lock-time and the low phase noise performance, an efficient bandwidth control scheme is proposed. Charge pump up/down current mismatches are compensated with the current mismatch compensation block. Also, the proposed coarse tuning method selects the optimal tuning capacitances of the LC-VCO to optimize the phase noise and the lock-time. The measured lock-time is about $20{\mu}s$. This chip is fabricated with $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS technology, and the die area is $0.7mm{\times}2.1mm$. The power consumption is 54mW at 2.7V supply voltage.

The successful use of adhesively bonded parts depends on the defect-free bond of the components. Therefore it is necessary to detect relevant faults and defects in an early state of the production. A 100% test should be pursued, but especially at complicated structures the detection of defects is not easy. Possible testing methods, which show a high potential for the NDT of adhesively bonded parts, are thermography based NDT methods. At present mainly two different procedures of active thermography are being used: Pulse and Lock-In Thermography. With pulse thermography the examined material is warmed up with a short energy pulse (light, eddy current or ultrasonic pulse) and the heat response is recorded after a certain time. The result is an infrared image which indicates material defects in different depths. This paper presents a variety of images showing the capability of Lock-In Thermography to image subsurface defects. Several examples of adhesives joints qualify the ultrasonic Lock-In-Thermography for the in-process quality control for adhesive bonded components.

In this paper, we investigated the variations of initial fault current limiting instant according to fault angles in the flux-lock type SFCL. The flux-lock type SFCL consists of the coil 1 and the coil 2 that are wound in parallel each other through an iron core. The operation of the flux-lock type SFCL can be divided into the subtractive polarity winding and the additive polarity winding operations according to the winding directions between the coil 1 and coil 2. The subtractive polarity winding operation could be analyzed with three modes. On the other hand, the additive polarity winding operation could be analyzed with five modes. The variations of initial fault current limiting instant in two winding directions were dependent on the fault angles. It was confirmed from experiment that the fault current limiting instant was getting faster and the magnitude of fault current at the initial fault time was getting higher for higher fault angle.

The characteristics of the tool system give many effects into the costs and qualities for the finished components. This study proposes a new method for manufacturing of high manufacturing productivity, production process reduction and low cost through back pressure forming. The Lock-up hub is manufactured through many processes, such as upsetting($1^{st}$ Forming), piercing, direct extrusion($2^{nd}$ Forming), final sizing process($3^{rd}$ Forming). In this study, process design for closed-die forging of a Lock-up hub used for a component of automobile transmission was made using three-dimensional finite element simulations, and the strain distributions and velocity distributions are investigated through the post processor. The rigid-plastic finite-element method for back pressure forging has been used in order to reduce development time and die cost. Using the FEM simulation, we found the optimum value of back pressure. The prototypes of Lock-up hub parts were forged into the net-shape. In the experiment, lead precision of tooth are measured by the CCMM(Contact Coordinate Measuring Machine). The dimensional accuracy of forged part was improved up to the 40% when back press was applied.

In this paper, we investigated the fault current limiting characteristic of flux-lock type High-Tc superconducting fault current limiter(HTSC-FCL), which is comprised of a flux-lock reactor and an external magnetic field coil covering the HTSC element In this HTSC-FCL, the initial limiting current level can be controlled by adjusting the inductance of the each coil. Furthermore, the fault current limiting characteristics of HTSC-FCL can be improved by applying 'the external magnetic field into the HTSC element We performed the computer simulation by numerical analysis about the flux-lock type HTSC-FCL and compared the results of experiment with simulation ones. We can obtain the same results from both the computer simulation and the experiment except for the time immediately after fault occurs.

Since existing Internet of Things(IoT) is vulnerable, it may cause property damage due to the information leakage. Especially, the smart door lock system built on the IoT can cause more damage. To solve these problems, this paper classify the data generated by the sensor according to the condition and send an alarm message to the user's smartphone through Google Cloud Message (GCM). We made it possible to check the images in real time through the smartphone application and control the door lock using the TCP / IP protocol. Also, we applied OTP-Based Matrix SEED algorithm to door lock system to improve security.

The paper attempts to design and implement the system which can remotely check visitors' speech or Image by a mobile phone. This system is designed to recognize who a visitor is through the automatic calling service, not through a short message, via the mobile phone, even when the home owner is outside. In general, door locks are controlled through the home Server, but it is more effective to control door locks by using DTMF signal from a real-time point of view. The technology suggested in this paper makes it possible to communicate between the visiter and the home owner by making a phone call to tile home owner's mobile phone automatically when the visiter visits the house even if the home owner is outside, and if necessary, it allows for the home owner to control the door lock remotely. Thanks to the system, the home owner is not restricted by time or space for checking the visitor's identification and controlling the door lock. In addition, the security system is improved by changing from the existing password form to the combination of password and speaker verification lot the verification procedure required for controlling the door lock and setting the environment under consideration of any disadvantages which may occur when the mobile Phone is lost. Also, any existing problems such as reconnection to tile network for controlling tile door lock are solved by controlling the door lock in real time by use of DTMF signal while on the phone.
