A moving object management system manages spatiotemporal data o( moving objects which change their location continuously over time such as people, animals, cars, cellular phones, and so on. This system can be applied to location based services such as vehicle tracking systems, digital battlefields, and animal habitat management. The existing systems neither suggest location estimation of the moving objects nor handle the loss data of the moving objects in real-time environment. Thus the existing systems have problems that they give the uncertain results of the query processing to the user query. In this paper, we design a new moving object management system. The proposed system processes the past and future location information of the moving objects by the location change function. Also we propose a location triggering method, which supplements loss of the location data of the mobile objects in real-time environment. Finally, we implement and apply the proposed system to a vehicle tracking system based on PDA. Thus we ascertain that the proposed system can be applied to the location based system.

Recently it has become easier to figure out cargo positional information by using GPS(Global Positioning System) and wireless communication technology. The acceleration of globalization in the shipping logistics is ever more increasing the need to provide visibility, traceability and real time informations of entry, departure of vessel including cargo and status of logistic vehicle entry into each logistic base. Providing such positional information to logistics party by using wireless communication technology can bring effective operation of supply chain and reduction in logistics costs. In the previous paper, I suggested a global location tracking system based on GPS data in global shipping logistics by means of software using GPS data. However, the previous system had a problem of being inadequate to figure out a real time location movement information and was unsatisfactory on quickly searching and checking the location of global logistics hubs according to the longitude and latitude coordinates. Hence, in this paper, I suggest a real-time location tracking system that provided real-time location of the container cargos and logistics hubs can be searched quickly according to the GPS coordinates in global shipping logistics.

In this paper, we design a pet location tracking and remote monitoring system that uses ultrasonic, temperature, humidity and illumination sensors to study behavioral patterns and habits. Using ultrasonic waves to calculate distances, a WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) was constructed to transmit data at pet's location, such as temperature, humidity and illumination, to a sink mote. Data received by the system are stored in the database in real time to trace pet's location. Interference among transmitting motes was eliminated by sequentially transmitting RF beacons using sink mote's beacon as the reference signal. Experiments were performed with the laboratory prototype of a pet animal monitoring system implemented for this study. The system analyzes locations of a pet and displays movement patterns, areas of movement, temperature, humidity and illumination using a GUI (graphical user interface).
Recently, ubiquitous computing paradigm considers as a tool for making innovation and competitive strength in manufacturing industry like other industries. Particularly, the location-based service that enables us to trace real-time logistics make effective management of schedules for inventory control, facilities and equipments, jobs planning, and facilitate the processes of information management and intelligence, which relate with ERP and SCM in organizations. Our study tries to build the location-based system for products of semiconductors in manufacturing place and suggests the good conditions and effective tracking procedures for positions of products. Our study show that the system is good for the saving of time in tracking products, however, it has to be improved in terms of accuracy. The study verifies the application of RFID technology in manufacturing industry and suggests the improvement of photograph process through RFID. In addition, our research introduces the future operation of FAB in semiconductors' processes that relate with real-time automation and RFID in manufacturing company.

In this paper, to overcome the limitation of information transmission and reception according to the RF system of UAV, it is necessary to check the position of many UAVs in flight on the basis of mobile communication and to make the LTE modem lightweight and low power And UAVs that are in operation are received and controlled. Through this study, we proposed a method to control real-time location tracking by connecting high-resolution images to the network anytime and anywhere. For this purpose, we propose the requirements and requirements of LTE modem using real-time high-speed data communication technology (3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth) by presenting the communication module system of LTE-based UAV. N:N control system concept and implementation technology(Control system structure, control data flow chart, flight planning and transmission, real-time location tracking).
In this paper, a new 3D object tracking system using the disparity motion vector (DMV) is presented. In the proposed method, the time-sequential disparity maps are extracted from the sequence of the stereo input image pairs and these disparity maps are used to sequentially estimate the DMV defined as a disparity difference between two consecutive disparity maps Similarly to motion vectors in the conventional video signals, the DMV provides us with motion information of a moving target by showing a relatively large change in the disparity values in the target areas. Accordingly, this DMV helps detect the target area and its location coordinates. Based on these location data of a moving target, the pan/tilt embedded in the stereo camera system can be controlled and consequently achieve real-time stereo tracking of a moving target. From the results of experiments with 9 frames of the stereo image pairs having 256x256 pixels, it is shown that the proposed DMV-based stereo object tracking system can track the moving target with a relatively low error ratio of about 3.05 % on average.

This paper presents a solution for personal profiling system based on user-oriented tracking. Here, we introduce a new way to identify and track humans by using two types of cameras: dome and face camera. Dome camera has a wide view angle so that it is suitable for tracking human movement in large area. However, it is difficult to identify a person only by using dome camera because it only sees the target from above. Thus, face camera is employed to obtain facial information for identifying a person. In addition, we also propose a new mechanism to locate human on targeted location by using grid-cell system. These result in a system which has the capability of maintaining human identity and tracking human activity (movement) effectively.
In this paper, a new stereo object tracking system using the disparity motion vector is proposed. In the proposed method, the time-sequential disparity motion vector can be estimated from the disparity vectors which are extracted from the sequence of the stereo input image pair and then using these disparity motion vectors, the area where the target object is located and its location coordinate are detected from the input stereo image. Basing on this location data of the target object, the pan/tilt embedded in the stereo camera system can be controlled and as a result, 3D tracking of the target object can be possible.

Intelligent Space defines an environment where many intelligent devices, such as computers and sensors, are distributed. As a result of the cooperation between smart devices, intelligence emerges from the environment. In such scheme, a crucial task is to obtain the global location of every device in order to of for the useful services. Some tracking systems often prepare the models of the objects in advance. It is difficult to adopt this model-based solution as the tracking system when many kinds of objects exist. In this paper the location is achieved with no prior model, using color properties as information source. Feature vectors of multiple objects using color histogram and tracking method are described. The proposed method is applied to the intelligent environment and its performance is verified by the experiments.
This paper presents a fast pattern tracking method using location prediction in cubemap video for 360-degree VR. A spherical cubemap frame has six face textures and searching a pattern is much slower than a flat image. To overcome the limitation, we propose a method of predicting the location of target pattern using Kalman filter and reducing the search area by considering only textures of predicted location. The experimental results showed that the proposed system is much faster than the previous method of searching all six faces and also gives accurate pattern tracking performance.
