This paper proposes a novel reversible image authentication method that requires neither location map nor memorization of parameters. The proposed method detects image tampering and further localizes tampered regions. Though this method once distorts an image to hide data for tamper detection, it recovers the original image from the distorted image unless no tamper is applied to the image. The method extracts hidden data and recovers the original image without memorization of any location map that indicates hiding places and of any parameter used in the algorithm. This feature makes the proposed method practical. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In the mobile environments for the vector map services, a map simplification work through the map generalization steps helps improve the readability of the map on a large scale. The generalization operations are various such as selection, aggregation, simplification, displacement, and so on, the formal operation algorithms have not been built yet. Because the algorithms require deep special knowledge and heuristic, which make it hard to automate the processes. This thesis proposes some map generalization algorithms specialized in mobile vector map services, based on previous works. This thesis will show the detail to adapt the approaches on the mobile environment, to display complex spatial objects efficiently on the mobile devices which have restriction on the resources.

This paper addresses a problem of defocus map recovery from single image. We describe a simple effective approach to estimate the spatial value of defocus blur at the edge location of the image. At first, we perform a re-blurring process using Gaussian function with input image, and calculate a gradient magnitude ratio with blurring amount between input image and re-blurred image. Then we get a full defocus map by propagating the blur amount at the edge location. Experimental result reveals that our method outperforms a reliable estimation of depth map, and shows that our algorithm is robust to noise, inaccurate edge location and interferences of neighboring edges within input image.

최근 정보기술 발전과 컴퓨터의 고성능화에 따라 인터넷과 지리정보 시스템(GIS: Geographic Information System)을 연동하여 많은 웹사이트에서 지도정보 및 POI(Point of Interest)서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 Web GIS는 시스템 구축이나 서비스 제공방법, 지도표현 형식에 있어 특정 시스템이나 환경에 의존적이며 제약이 많이 있다. 또한 무선인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 이동 환경에서 현재 위치정보를 적용한 실시간 서비스를 제공받기 원하는 사용자가 급증하고 있는 시점에서 이러한 서비스는 PDA와 같은 이동클라이언트에 LBS(Location Based Service)로 제공될 수 있어야한다. 본 논문에서는 국립지리원의 표준 지도형식인 DXF 수치지도를 이용하여 모바일 웹 서비스가 가능한 GIS를 구축하였다. 그리고 이를 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)에서 권고한 벡터 방식의 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) 포맷의 지도로 표현하고, XML 웹 서비스를 이용한 개방형 서비스로 제공하였다. 또한 이동클라이언트인 PDA에 GPS수신기를 확장하여 이동환경에서 위치정보를 획득하여 모바일을 위한 실시간 위치기반 웹지도 서비스를 설계하고 서버기반 G15 컴퓨팅 환경을 실용적으로 구현하였다.

안드로이드 시스템에서 맵을 표현하는 방법은 여러 가지가 있다. 그 중 대표적인 표현 방법으로 구글에서 제공하는 API를 통한 지오코딩을 많이 사용한다. 그러나 지오코딩을 사용할 경우 위치 표현은 가능하지만 도로의 노드 표현이나 여러 가지 위치 서비스를 위해 필요한 지도의 상세 정보를 사용할 수 없다. 또한 위치 정보의 GPS 신호를 기본으로 표현 하여 주기 때문에 GPS 음영 지역에서의 서비스가 쉽지 않은 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 지오코딩 기반에서 특정 지역 위치 서비스를 위한 맵 표현 기법과 활용 방안에 대하여 제안한다.

본 연구는 부산시의 GIS 데이타베이스를 활용하여 먼저, 입지포텐셜 분석을 위한 지표를 설정하여 각 지표별 Rank-Map을 작성하였다. 다음으로 각 상업 업무시설이 입지할 가능성을 예측할 수 있는 입지 포텐셜 ($P_i$)을 분석하여 제안하였다. Rank 1, 2로 분류되는 존의 건물용도 현황을 보면, 상업시설 용도가 차지하는 비율이 높음을 알 수 있었다. Rank 4~7까지의 존은 환경보전적 차원에서 비 상업계 용도지역이 지정되고 관리될 필요가 있다고 사료된다. 또한, 본 연구에서 제안한 입지 포텐셜은 용도지역 지정시 상업계 용도지역 지정의 기초자료로서 활용할 수 있다고 사료되어진다.

본 연구에서는 각종 웹사이트와 이메일을 통해 전달되는 회의공지에 포함된 회의장소를 나타내는 문자열로부터 실제 위치를 추정하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 직접 구현한 NER과 Relation-type Classification 모듈을 사용하였으며, 장소에 대한 모델은 기존의 지리정보시스템들과의 상호 운용성을 위하여 OpenStreetMap[6]과 Geonames[7]의 데이터 구조를 참조하여 설계되었고, 실제 위치를 구하기 위하여 내부자원 외에도, 각종 오픈API들을 외부자원으로 활용하였다.

최근 자율주행차와 같이 고정밀의 위치 정확도를 요구하는 기술이 개발됨에 따라 정확도가 높은 위치정보 교환 기술 또는 위치참조방법 개발의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 정밀전자지도를 이용하는 차로 수준의 위치참조방법 프레임워크를 제안하고, 새로운 위치참조방법을 구현, 분석 및 평가할 수 있는 툴(tool)의 설계 및 개발을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 위치참조방법의 필요성과 정의, 그리고 정확도 높은 위치 정보의 교환을 위한 정밀전자지도의 기본 구조를 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 차로 수준의 위치참조방법을 위한 프레임워크를 제시하였다. 프레임워크의 실제 구현 및 테스트, 분석을 위해 필요한 분석 평가 툴을 개발하기 위해 기본 아키텍처 설계 및 그에 따른 실제 C/C++ 기반의 윈도우 응용 프로그램 개발을 수행하였다. 마지막으로 분석 평가 툴을 이용해서 이종 정밀전자지도 간의 위치 정보를 교환하는 테스트를 통해 그 실효성을 검증하였다.

LBS(Location Based Service)와 GIS(Geographic Information System)는 사용자의 위치 정보를 이용하여 지리정보를 제공하는 시스템으로서 점차 다양한 플랫폼에서 서비스 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 PDA와 같은 이동 컴퓨팅 환경은 일반적인 컴퓨팅 환경에 비해 기능적인 측면에서 심각한 제약사항이 존재하기 때문에 다양한 정보를 제공하기 위한 GIS 시스템을 개발하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 환경에 적합하도록 수치지도 경량화 기법과 웹 연동이 가능한 수치지도 포맷을 제안한다. 제안된 수치지도 생성결과 지도의 용량은 기존 지도보다 약 $99.34\%$ 축약되었다.

JPEG-LS is an international standard for lossless or near-lossless image-compression algorithms. In this paper, a simple method is proposed to improve the performance of the lossless JPEG-LS algorithm. With respect to JPEG-LS and its supplementary explanation, Golomb-Rice (GR) coding is mainly used for entropy coding, but it is not used for long codewords. The proposed method replaces a set of long codewords with a set of shorter location map information. This paper shows how efficiently the location map guarantees reversibility and enhances the compression rate in terms of performance. Experiments have also been conducted to verify the efficiency of the proposed method.
