The paper presents the results investigating the effect of aircraft engine impact location on the intended function evaluation results of spent nuclear fuel transport cask. As a result of the investigation, it is found that the structural integrity is maintained as the maximum accumulated equivalent plastic strain is below the acceptable criterion regardless of the collision location. It is identified that when the aircraft engine collided with the upper part of the transport cask without considering impact limiter the containment performance is weakened compared to when the aircraft engine collided with the central part.

단지계획 또는 특정 목적의 시설물 설립을 위한 적지선정은 제반여건과 주변환경을 면밀하게 고려해야 한다. 특히, 인간의 생활공간이라면 채광 및 통풍, 부지활용의 효용성 등이 중요한 요소이다. 이를 위해서 3차원 지형 모델링과 가상 시뮬레이션을 통한 다각적인 입체분석이 필요하다. 이러한 지형모델링에 필수적인 고해상 위성영상이 아리랑2호 위성(KOMPSAT2)을 통해 국내기술로 제공되고 있으므로 저렴한 비용으로 처리가 가능해 졌다. 본 연구에서는 특정목적의 단지계획을 위해 몇 개의 후보지를 선정하고 3차원 지형모델링과 토지정보를 이용하여 적지분석을 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 필지분석, 지가산정, 경사도 분석, 향분석을 실시하였으며 각 후보지 별 평가지표를 마련하여 정량적인 평가를 시도한 결과 효율적이며 합리적으로 적지선정을 할 수 있었다.

외식창업에 있어서 입지선정은 경영의 성과를 이루는데 첩경이라 할 수 있으며 이러한 의미에서 외식산업은 부동산 산업이라 해도 과언이 아니다. 본 연구는 외식창업점포의 입지요인이 매출성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 살펴보고, 입지요인이 창업만족도에 영향을 미쳐 궁극적으로 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 조사대상은 외식자영업자들을 대상으로 정하였으며, 설문조사는 안양시에 소재하고 있는 외식창업업자를 대상을 2016년12월1일부터 2017년1월30일까지 실시하였다. 설문지는 총300부가 배포되어 245부가 회수되었고, 불성실한 답변을 제외한 198부가 실증연구에 사용되었다. 실증 분석은 SPSS 22.0 통계패키지 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 빈도분석, 요인분석, 회귀분석을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외식창업점포의 입지요인으로 접근용이성, 군집성, 위치성, 시계성 등 4가지로 구분하였다. 둘째, 입지요인이 매출성과에 미치는 영향에서 접근용이성, 군집성, 위치성, 시계성 모두가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 입지요인이 매출성과에 미치는 영향에서 창업만족도는 부분매개효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 결과적으로 외식창업점포만의 입지선정요인을 확인하고 다른 분야의 점포의 입지선정 시 중요요인과 차별점을 찾고 싶었다. 이러한 결과는 안양지역 외식창업의 매출성과를 높이기 위해 입지선정단계부터 총력을 기울여야하며 창업의 만족도를 높이기 위해 노력하는 것이 필요하다는 시사점을 준다.

In AVL, GIS analyze the information from the vehicles to provide commercial or other value far user. As spatial analysis functions in GIS make a new valuable information using the vehicle's position and geographic object's location, they perform an important roles to improve the management efficiency of vehicles. Most GIS however are used static data for the spatial analysis, so the research area on AVL used dynamic vehicle location has generated unsuitable result. In this study, we use GPS real time tracking data to perform spatial analysis between moving vehicle and static geographic object. The method proposed in this paper considers the driving direction of vehicle and creates the result which is located in forward of vehicle. In this paper, two spatial analysis functions, near and connectivity, are developed.

Purpose - This paper proposes measurement models to evaluate the management performance of small and medium-sized retail businesses on the basis of a trading area analysis that compares their proposed revenue to actual revenue in the trading area. Research design, data, methodology - The study proposes measurement models consisting of five stages, namely: (1) district background survey, (2) customer survey, (3) competitor survey, (4) business district survey, and (5) business performance analysis. Results - To identify business districts easily, this study preferred a minor-adjusted method based on the Euclidean distance, as it is simple to employ for the small and medium-sized businesses. This model was applied to select coffee shops in Daejeon. Results indicated that although the targeted shop was not located in an appropriate location, actual sales were higher than expected. Conclusions - Small- or medium-sized retail businesses face difficulties regarding the economies of scale and brand recognition and must choose an appropriate location to ensure management stability. However, such businesses will find it difficult to evaluate their competitive edge accurately using a trading area analysis.

Geographical location carries information such as demography, local economy, environment, and life styles, which could be the sources of cancer occurrence. Analyzing geographical location associated with cancer occurrence can be instructive to physicians, patients, and health administrators regarding resource allocation, expenditures, prophylaxis and treatments. In this paper, we explored the correspondence relationship between geographical locations and mortality rates of the cancers using correspondence analysis and illustrated the approach with the mortality rates of the top 10 cancers in the 75 counties in Arkansas from 2001 to 2005. Geographical variations with respect to the mortality rates of cancers are evaluated across Arkansas counties. Based on the contingency table, correspondence analysis model is developed and the simple indices which indicate the degree to which the regions and the cancers affect each other are calculated. Quantitative results are visualized and mapped in two-dimensional graphs.

The purpose of this study was to extract information of body form's classification on elderly women. We measured 242 subjects from 55 to 75 years of age, using 27 direct measurement items and 25 body indices. We analyzed these indices with factor analysis, cluster analysis We obtained these following results 1) Through factor analysis, 4 factors (obesity of torso, location of upper torso items, length of upper torso, location of lower torso items & shoulder length) were extracted from body indices. 2) Through culster analysis, we categorized 4 clusters. Namely, type 1, characterized the best slender type, type 2; characterized obesity type, type 3: characterized middle sized type ; type 4: characterized by fat type less than type 2. We considered that type 3 is the typical type on elderly women. Since analysis using indices is very profitable, it may be necessary to design dummies and patterns for clothing manufacture.

Pad-eye is connected to crane with sling. When block is lift, pad-eye have a various applied force. Applied force on pad-eye is related to sling angle. Sling angle is decided by various parameters, including pad-eye location, sling length and crane location. Welded joint on pad-eye requires strength design because sling angle changes force on pad-eye. Strength design for welded joint of pad-eye will calculate with general mechanical design and FE analysis. FE analysis would become a useful tool in the analysis of welded joint. A commercial software(ANSYS 10.0) was used in the structural strength analysis for welded joint of pad-eye.

Rich morphology language such as Arabic needs more investigation and method to improve the sentiment analysis task. Using all document parts in the process of the sentiment analysis may add some unnecessary information to the classifier. Therefore, this paper shows the ongoing work to use sentence location as a feature with Arabic sentiment analysis. Our proposed method employs a supervised sentiment classification method by enriching the feature space model with some information from the document. The experiments and evaluations that were conducted in this work show that our proposed feature in the sentiment analysis for Arabic improves the performance of the classifier compared to the baseline model.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the differences of visual image by variations in the location of the waistline and the width of the round belt of the basic pants. The stimuli are 21 samples: 7 variations of the location of the waistline and 3 variations of the width of the belt. The data has been obtained from 35 fashion design majors. The data has analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, anova, scheffe's test and the MCA method. The visual image by the location of waistline and the width of belt are composed of 3 factors : modernity, comfort and attraction factor. In these factors, modernity factor is estimated as the most important factor. The visual image is modern and attractive as the location of waist line goes down. And when the location of waist line is in the position of natural waist belt, belt of 3.2cm width is visually effective. Belt of 4.2cm width is effective except the position of natural waist belt. The interaction effects between the location of the waistline and the width of the belt have significant differences in comfort and attraction factors. As the main effect, significant differences were observed in all of the three factors according to the location of waistline and the width of belt.
