The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.0 Version, a statistical package program, and various results were discovered. First, all the service quality factors (convenience, food, event program, physical environment) had a positive (+) effect on positive emotion, and the service quality factors except event program had a negative (-) effect on negative emotions. Second, the service quality factors had a partially positive (+) effect on behavior intention and local performance. Third, the positive and negative emotions had a effect on behavior intention, however, the positive emotions had a positive (+) effect on local performance. Consequently, the present study confirmed that service quality in the night market is important factors for emotions, behavior intention, and local performance. Therefore, the findings of this study is capable of being the basic data for revitalizing the traditional market in the future.

  • In Korea, local governments and local agencies had to apply a version of the first price auction augmented by an ex-post screening process when they procure construction contracts. However, this first price auction had been criticized because it was felt that too much price competition could lead to poor ex-post performance in construction. In response, the existing auction method was recently replaced by a version of the average price auction with a similar screening process. This paper empirically examines the effectiveness of this reform and finds that the replacement only increases the fiscal burden of local governmental bodies without making any improvement in the ex-post performance.

  • It is expected that per-user customized services are widely used in next generation Personal Communication Network. To provide personalized services for each call, per-user service profiles are frequently referenced and signaling traffic is considerably large. Since the service calls are requested from the places where user stays, we can expect that the traffic is localized. In this paper, we propose a new service profile replication scheme, named Follow-Me Replication with local Anchor (FMRA). By replicating user's service profile in a user-specific location area, local anchor of each region, the signaling traffic for call and mobility can be distributed to local network. We compared the performance of the FMRA with two typical schemes: Intelligent Network-based !Central scheme and IMT-2000 based full replication scheme, as we refer it to Follow-Me Replication Unconditional (FMRU). Performance results indicate that FMRA lies between Central and FMRU schemes according to call to mobility ratio, and we identified the efficient ranges of CMR for FMRA depending on the various network parameters.

  • The most crucial elements of SME growth and development are performance and innovation. In actuality, SMEs find it challenging to enhance their performance and innovation due to limited access to resources. Collaboration with other SMEs in the form of local communities can be an alternative solution to gaining access to external resources. Unfortunately, not many studies have explored the role of the local SME community in the development of innovation and performance of SMEs. This study tries to fill this gap by examining the role of local communities in expanding SMEs' access to resources, in their efforts to improve innovation and performance. Data was collected using an online questionnaire distributed to food and beverage SMEs in Malang Regency. As many as 150 questionnaires were received and considered valid for statistical data analysis using the WarpPLS program. The results show that the SME community plays an important role in improving the innovation and performance of food and beverage SMEs. It is also found that innovation can be a good mediator of community relations with the performance of SMEs. Furthermore, it is also confirmed that the SME community moderates the relationship between innovation and the performance of food and beverage SMEs.
