의류점포속성 및 관계품질이 점포전환의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 인터넷 쇼핑몰과 재래시장 패션전문상가를 중심으로 - (The effects of the Store attributes and Relationship quality on the Conversion intent of fashion store -Focused on Internet shopping mall and Local store-)

  • This study was to investigate the conversion intent of fashion store among college undergraduates. The conversion intent in internet shopping mall and local store was associated with store attributes and relationship quality. A random sample of undergraduate students completed a questionnaire that contained measure of Store attributes, Relationship quality, Conversion intent of fashion store. The results revealed that store attributes of local store were store comport/salesman service, product diversity, store location, price and the store attributes of internet shopping mall were product diversity/easy of navigation, store reliability, screen configuration, sales promotion. Also, the result founded that the conversion intent of fashion store is related to store comport/salesman service in local store and is related to product diversity/easy of navigation, screen configuration, promotion in internet shopping mall. Relationship quality is highly effected of the conversion intent of local store and internet shopping mall. We expect that this research results can be used as a basic material for another study and setting up the marketing strategies in fashion store.

백화점의 패션 마케팅 전락 분석 -현대 압구정점.신촌점을 중심으로 - (A Study on Fashion Marketing Strategies of Department Stores Comparison of Hyundai Apgujung Branch and Shinchon Branch -)

  • The purposes of this study were to compare the marketing compose elements of Apgujung and Shinchon branch of Hyundai Department Store and to suggest desirable fashion marketing strategies for other Department Stores and retailing stores. The results were as follows: Two kinds of factor were classified form this study; one was Hardware elements such as Trading Area Site, Store Composition, Scale, and Subsidiary facilities etc., another was Software elements like Store Concept, Image, and Merchandising and so on. The followings were suggested from Hardware elements; 1) Trading Area could be classified'local type'and 'spread type'. 2) Each branch was differentiated from store formation of conventional department store which had food department in basement. There were the most powerful women's fashion brand to lead costumers in second basement. 3) In accordance with the position of subsidiary facilities of Hyundai Department Store,'Water Jet Effect'strategy and'Show Effect'strategy could be usefully applied for other Department Stores and retailing stores. 4) The strategy of approaching easily to the target floor which was located in lower floor, could be applied to various retailing stores. The followings were suggested from Software elements; 1) Stores management coping with poles-apart in costumer could be needed to other Department Store and retailing stores. 2) It also could be needed to find and maintain effective ratio between common brand and differentiated brands in the other Department Stores.

서비스 품질 속성 IPA 분석을 활용한 테마 레스토랑 입지별 LSM 전략수립 (Development of LSM(Local Store Marketing) Strategy Using the IPA Analysis of Service Quality Attributes by the location in a Theme Restaurant)

  • The purposes of this study were to a) examine using status, b) measure the service quality attributes, c) analyze IPA and customer satisfaction, d) develop the LSM(Local Store Marketing) by location of K theme restaurant such as residential type(A), complex type(B) and downtown type(C). The questionnaires were handed out to 346 of 450(usage rate 76.9%). The statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS(ver 12.0) for descriptive analysis, $X^2$, t-test, ANOVA, reliability analysis, factor analysis, multiple linear regression. From an analysis on service quality attributes, most importance of service quality attributes was more highly perceived than performance of those, except for 'attractive exterior', 'variety of kid's menu', 'convenient facilities for kid' and perceived importance and performance were also significantly different by location of branch restaurant. The attributes to be improved were 'convenience of restaurant's parking lot', 'food tast', 'speedy service' and 'service competency' as branch A(residential type) restaurant, 'convenience of the restaurant location' as branch B(complex type) restaurant and 'convenience of the restaurant location' and 'speedy service' as branch C(downtown type) through IPA analysis. The Overall customer satisfaction was 3.74 and service quality factors had significant effect on overall customer satisfaction. Location of restaurant, which gives a great effect on its operation and marketing, has a important correlation with success or failure of restaurant business enterprises. Therefore, marketing strategy by restaurant location should be developed.

브랜드의 언어 현지화가 고유 브랜드와의 이미지 유사성 인식과 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Brand Language Localization Affecting Original Brand Image Similarity Recognition and Purchase Intentions)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether foodservice brand language localization affects consumer attitudes in terms of similar brand image recognition with an original brand. Many global foodservice companies have tried to modify their own brand identity according to local situations in order to attract more consumers. According to this study's results, consumers who similarly recognized both the original brand image and localization brand image tended to have greater purchase intention than those who did not recognize them similarly. In addition, when the original brand identity was changed to the local language, consumers more similarly conceived the original brand image and localization. And for local store marketing, foodservice companies should have a thorough marketing research plan since there can be difference results according to brand name recognition gaps or demographic characteristics. Original brand image similarity recognition by consumers affected their attitudes. In other words, the group that similarly recognized both the original brand company image and the localization brand company image tended to have greater purchase intention. Because brand language plays an important role in consumer attitudes with respect to recognizing a brand and distinguishing another brand, this study suggests that franchise foodservice companies have a local store marketing plan.

  • 본 연구에서는 점포이미지, 유통업체상표이미지, 구매의도간의 인과관계를 규명해보는 건으로 부산지역의 전국유통업체와 지역유통업체의 비교를 통해 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 점포이미지가 유통업체이미지에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 둘째, 점포별 점포이미지가 유통업체이미지에 미치는 영향의 차이를 조사하였다. 마지막으로, 점포이미지와 유통업체상표이미지가 유통업체상표구매의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 연구 결과 유통업체상표이미지에 있어 점포이미지는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 점포별로 점포이미지가 유통업체상표이미지에 미치는 영향은 차이가 남을 알 수 있었다 또한, 점포이미지와 유통업체상표이미지가 유통업체상표 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 났으며 점포이미지의 영향보다는 유통업체상표이미지의 영향이 구매의도에 더 크게 작용하고 있었다. 연구결과를 토대로 유통업체는 점포이미지의 개선을 통해 유통업상표에 대한 인식을 형성하는 것이 바람직하다고 할 수 있으며, 특히, 점포속성들중에서 특정요소를 부각시킴으로써 유통업체상표를 관리할 필요성을제시하였다.

지방 독점 백화점 고객들의 전환행동에 관한 연구 (Study on the Switching behavior of Customers of Local Monopolistic Department Store)

  • 대형 백화점들의 다점포화전략, 할인점의 증가, 무점포업태의 성장 등으로 지방 백화점 고객들이 점포 전환을 용이하게 할 수 있는 유통환경이 조성되고 있다. 따라서 그동안 제한된 경쟁상황에서 영업활동을 해 온 지방 백화점들은 고객전환행동에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 필요로 하고 있다. 본 연구는 지방 독점백화점 고객들의 전환행동 특성파악을 위해 선행연구를 검토한 후 유통환경의 급격한 변화속에서 고객들의 전환행동 특성을 불만즉요인, 전환장벽, 전환의도, 고객육특성(쇼핑향유성향, 다양성추구성향, 경쟁에의 노출정도, 인구통계특성)의 관계를 중심으로 파악해 보았다. 그 결과 불만족요인 평가는 고객의 특성(쇼핑향유성향, 경쟁에의 노출정도)에 따라 차이가 있으며, 전환장벽 인식은 고객의 특성(경쟁에의 노출정도, 인구통계특성) 및 불만족요인 평가에 따라 차이가 있고 예상경쟁자로의 전환의도는 고객의 특성(쇼핑향유성향, 경쟁에의 노출정도, 인구통계특성) 및 전환장벽 인식에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 경쟁자의 시장진입을 눈앞에 두고 있는 지방 독점백화점의 전환관리는 고객특성 파악과 고객불만족을 감소시키려는 노력을 중심으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 보인다.

  • A cosmetic shop in a department store is the best place in Korea's cosmetic market flow that shows the total image of each brand. The present day departmental cosmetic shops are centered around global brands and comparative brand power is competing with a small number of local brands. It is a fact that not only regarding the brand power of local brands but also the space design of their shops are different than the global brands. And, influenced by a modern society, culture, economic surrounding, the customers are getting original and individual. Their individualistic life style is demanding a shop environment with new concept. Such a sale environment is not for just product sale and a place where exchange economy of sale occurs. It is requisite for communication where total marketing strategy Is used In an active way. We must acknowledge it as a symbolic place being the ultimate site of customer oriented exchange economy showing the image of both product and the company. The aim of this plan is to set up a sale environment that will enhance the brand awareness and product value. We intended to provide purchase comfort and visual effect to the customer simultaneously with an Increase in customer attention by putting in the appropriate design requisites as per the brand specialty and by the application of a distinguished S.I.P (Store Identity Program) for the shop.

The Localization Strategies and Success of Costco : Focusing on a Japanese Mature Retail Market

  • Purpose - This research addresses the question of how an international retailer like Costco can succeed in a foreign mature market and satisfy the local consumers. Our study aims to promote our understanding of how foreign retailers influence local consumers in a mature market with differentiated business models. Research design, data, and methodology - Our study uses company publications, secondary sources of information and the results of a questionnaire survey consisting of 106 participants. Consumer responses were solicited through a questionnaire survey conducted in the city of Kobe in December of 2013. Results - Product differentiation from local retailers in a mature market like Japan gave Costco a competitive edge. Compared with local supermarkets, Costco was preferred by Japanese consumers for its variety of goods that it carries, as well as in-store promotion large package of selling units, in-store amenities, and customer services. Conclusions - First, a theoretical framework is proposed in this study that can aid in developing localization strategies in a mature market such as Japan. Second, it reveals that an international retailer can succeed in a foreign market by stimulating local consumers to change their purchasing behavior, without having to alter the prevailing format of operation.

창업교육과 커피가맹점 수익성 관계에서의 점포경쟁력 특성의 매개효과에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Mediated Effect of Store Competitiveness Characteristics Between Startup Education and Franchise Profitability)

  • 본 연구는 점점 경쟁이 심해지고 있는 국내 프랜차이즈 산업에서 최근 10여 년간 급성장해 온 커피전문점의 수익성에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 살펴보고, 사전 창업교육이 커피전문점 수익성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하였다. 창업교육을 통해 점포의 업종 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는지, 입지를 선정하는 안목을 키울 수 있는지, 혁신경영이 일어나는지를 분석하였고, 궁극적으로 점포 수익성으로 귀결되는지 구조방정식 모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 창업교육은 점포의 업종특성인 맛과 품질, 가격적절성, 메뉴다양성, 점포분위기 등과 점포의 입지특성인 적합성과 접근성, 그리고 점포의 혁신경영인 배달영업과 SNS마케팅 활용 등에 모두 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 점포수익성에 미치는 영향은 업종특성 중 맛과 품질과 가격적절성, 입지특성 중 적합성, 혁신경영 중 SNS마케팅 활용 요인만이 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 과당경쟁을 하고 있는 커피전문점의 수익성 제고를 위해 실무적 시사점을 제시하였고, 가맹본부 및 정부정책의 유용한 자료로도 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 아울러 본 연구의 결과를 통해 향후 가맹본부와 정부 및 지방자치단체는 증가하고 있는 자영업자의 배달영업이 배달비용을 감안하더라도 실질적 수익성 개선으로 이어지도록 제도적 뒷받침이 필요하다는 시사점이 제시되었다.
