Managing of local government public service is innovation strategy of local government public service using choice and competition principle. This study aimed to obtain basic data toward fostering understanding and interest in local foods, to the overall end of enhancing development and popularization of such foods. It also gives direction toward promotion of local food by researching attitudes toward local foods and viewpoints on requirements for improvement of such, among university students living in the Daegu-Kyungbuk area. The results of analyzing perceptional scores for native local foods in Kyungbuk by characteristics t showed statistically significant differences according to sex and duration of residence in Kyungbuk. Obstacles to the promotion of local foods include lack of marketing, lack of specialized restaurants, lack of knowledge, lack of menus, lack of generalization, and high price. The results of analyzing viewpoints on requirements for improved perception of local foods, there were statistically significant differences in active advertisement and marketing, diversity of local foods, and duration of dwelling.

This paper is an exploratory study to investigate the influence of characteristics of local government web-sites on user satisfaction and trust. The objective of this research is to identify the characteristics of local government web-sites influencing on user satisfaction and trust, and determine how they affect user satisfaction and trust. From the literature review, we identify four characteristics which are expected to influence on user satisfaction: technical, information, customer-oriented, and work-performing characteristics. In addition, we develop research model that the four characteristics are expected to affect user satisfaction and trust via users' perceived values. The results of the research are as follows. The technical, customer-oriented, and work-performing characteristics significantly affects perceived values, which significantly affected user satisfaction and trust. Perceived value is partially mediated by user satisfaction in affecting user trust. The characteristics of local government web-sites affecting perceived values differed partially by the purpose of visitor. As for the personal goal, the technical, customer-oriented, and work-performing characteristics significantly affect perceived values, with the technical and customer-oriented characteristics having more significant effects. As for the business goal, the technical, information, work-performing characteristics significantly affected perceived values, with information characteristics having more significant effects.

This paper focused on examining the middle school students' perceptions of characteristics(personal knowledge, human responsibility, impact on personal life, and predicted trend, behavior will) of 10 global and 8 local environmental issues. Subjects(N=516) demonstrated by completing a survey that they perceived the characteristics of issues differently on global and local scales, and to a degree those characteristics are related. First, middle school students' perceptions of global and local environmental issues were above mid-point mainly, and perceptions of local environmental issues were higher than those of global environmental issues. At perceptions of characteristics, They perceived that the personal knowledge of global environmental issues were higher than those of local issues, that the human responsibility effects on global environmental issues more than local environmental issues, that global environmental issues in the future, will be more serious. For each environmental issues, the perception of global warming among the global issues was highest, the perception of yellow dust and air pollution among the local issues was highest. For perceptions of characteristics, behavior will to solve the environmental issues was lower than that of 4 characteristics(personal knowledge, human responsibility, impact on personal life, and predicted trend). Second, there was significant difference of the perceptions of two scale environmental issues for area and sex. It showed that Seoul students' perceptions were higher than Kong-ju students' perceptions according to area, and that girl students' perceptions were higher than boy students' perceptions according to sex. Third, correlations among issues were significant. Especially, it was positive relationship between knowledge and human responsibility, human responsibility and impact on personal human responsibility and predicted trend. Educators and communicators should take into account the perceived characteristics of environmental issues and choose effective information sources and teaching methods to improve students' understanding of human-induced environmental changes.

High temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC) has been regarded as a promising clean energy sources. In this study, a quasi-three-dimensional dynamic model of HT-PEMFC has been developed and the local dynamic characteristics are investigated. The model has the geometrical simplification of 2+1D reduction (quasi-3D). The one-dimensional model consists of nine control volumes in cross-sectional direction to solve the energy conservation and the species conservation equations. Then, the one-dimensional model is discretized into 25 local sections along the gas flow direction to account for gas and thermal transport in channels. With this discretization, the local characteristics of HT-PEMFC such as species conservation, temperature, and current density can be captured. In order to study the basic characteristics of HT-PEMFC, it is important to investigate the local dynamic characteristics. Thus, the model is simulated at various operating conditions and the local dynamic characteristics related to them are observed. The model is useful to investigate the distribution of HT-PEMFC characteristics and the physical phenomena in HT-PEMFC.

This study aimed to understand the effect of the characteristics of the influencer of public officials and the characteristics of internet live broadcasting in China on the brand image of local agricultural products, purchase intention, and word-of-mouth intention. A survey was administered to Chinese consumers who had purchased local agricultural products after watching live broadcasts on the internet by influencers of government officials. A total of 317 questionnaires were collected and the data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 28.0. The key results were as follows. First, regarding the characteristics of the influencer of public officials, reliability, attractiveness, and expertise had a positive effect on the brand image of local agricultural products. Second, among the characteristics of internet live broadcasting, interaction and information had a positive effect on the brand image of local agricultural products, but entertainment did not. Third, the brand image of local agricultural products had a positive effect on purchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. Finally, the mediating effect of local agricultural brand image was evident in the reliability, attractiveness, and expertise characteristics of the influencer of public officials and purchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. Finally, the mediating effect of local agricultural brand image was evident in the interaction and information characteristics of internet live broadcasting and purchase intention and word-of-mouth intention.

This research strives to find the effective Local Currency Model that considered regional characteristics of Innovation city. Currently, the issuance of the domestic local currency has been increased due to COVID-19 Pandemic, yet most regions operate it in the same way without consideration of the characteristics and environment for each region, which leads to a lack of motivation for local communities to continue to participate. The regional characteristics of innovative cities were analyzed in order of policy characteristics of innovation cities, population growth issues, settlement and consumption environment. The new local currency model was proposed for innovation cities based on a private blockchain system with the participation of public institutions to solve and supplement regional issues.

The purposes of this study were to explore the differences of consumer characteristics and expenditures on local food between large scale stores and direct sale stores selling local food and to find some influencing factors on the expenditure on local food from both consumer groups. First, the levels of perceived attributes of local food were high for both consumer groups but were much higher for consumers from direct sale stores of local food. For food consumption patterns, consumers from direct sale stores presented higher levels than large scale stores and were found to be significantly different. Food choice motives were found to be significantly different in both groups. In addition, for the consumer characteristics, age and living with children under age 18 were found to be significantly different between both groups, while sex, education and household income were not. Second, expenditure of local food from direct sale stores was found to be significantly higher than large sale stores. Finally, expenditure of local food from large scale stores was found to be significantly influenced by age, price and seeking well-being, while expenditure of local food from direct sale stores was found to be significantly influenced by age, availability of local food, seeking cuisine, seeking satiety and sensory appeal.

London's BID, introduced in the early 2000s, has grown significantly to fill the gap between government services which have been decreased by the global recession and localism, and the demand for better services to strengthen competitiveness on a global level. Based on this background, this study comparatively analysed two BIDs in London with contrasting regional characteristics to find how BID works differently for the regeneration and sustainable development of regional business districts according to regional characteristics. As a result, the two BIDs ultimately had the goal of improving the local business environment and strengthening the competitiveness of local businesses and had a common point of working in close partnership with the public sector such as the local government. However, depending on the local situation and characteristics, it has been observed that there are differences in the strategies of work and the roles and relationships in the partnership with the public sector.

Characteristics of the local vibration modes of an aluminium extruded panel are investigated by the finite element analysis and modal testing. Practical methods to increase the damping of the local resonances are proposed. Effects by filling urethan foam in the core cavity and by coating tar on the panel surface are compared by experiments. Modified panel structures to shift the local resonance frequency band are proposed. The results of the study are utilized to predict the severe local resonances in the aluminium extruded panels and prevent their undesirable effect on the sound insulation.
