호이스트 견인용 SRM의 스무딩 운전을 위한 DITC 기법 (A DITC Strategy of SRM for Smooth Drive of Hoist)

  • The DITC of SRM for smooth hoist driving is presented in this paper. In the hoist system, the switched reluctance motor (SRM) is applied instead of induction motor because of high efficiency and good traction characteristic. In order to improve start-up and stop performance of hoist system, the smoothing operation sequence of SRM using DITC is proposed. According to the switching sequence and hysteric band, the instantaneous torque is controlled. Since, the proposed method uses only the turn-on angle depending on variation of load and speed, a simple DITC can be implemented. The validity is proved by simulation and experiment.

  • This study aims to analyze operating performance of a micro gas turbine with the aid of detailed measurements of various system parameters. In addition to embedded measurements, parameters such as exhaust temperatures, engine inlet temperatures and fuel flow rates are measured Variations in measured data and estimated performance parameters are analyzed. Those data are processed to calculate losses along the power transmission line and the net gas turbine performance (power and efficiency based on the gas turbine shaft end) is isolated from the overall system performance. On the basis of the measured data, analytical approach is tried to estimate design characteristic and performance parameters such as component efficiencies and unmeasured temperatures.

마이크로 솔더 범프의 전단강도와 시효 특성 (Aging Characteristic of Shear Strength in Micro Solder Bump)

  • Flip-chip interconnection that uses solder bump is an essential technology to improve the performance of microelectronics which require higher working speed, higher density, and smaller size. In this paper, the shear strength of Cr/Cr-Cu/Cu UBM structure of the high-melting solder b01p and that of low-melting solder bump after aging is evaluated. Observe intermetallic compound and bump joint condition at the interface between solder and UBM by SEM and TEM. And analyze the shear load concentrated to bump applying finite element analysis. As a result of experiment, the maximum shear strength of Sn-97wt%Pb which was treated 900 hrs aging has been decreased as 25% and Sn-37wt%Pb sample has been decreased as 20%. By the aging process, the growth of $Cu_6Sn_5$ and $Cu_3Sn$ is ascertained. And the tendency of crack path movement that is interior of a solder to intermetallic compound interface is found.

  • Magnetic field analysis of claw-pole type generator using equivalent circuit is presented in this paper. On the basis of 3D geometry and flux paths, equivalent magnetic circuit is designed and field analysis is performed by solving the circuit. Non-linear characteristic of material is considered for precise analysis results. 3D FEA is performed to verify analysis results, and flux densities in rotor and stator regions are compared. Calculated no-load back emf for field input voltage and speed are verified by experiment. Comparing to 3D FEA, presented method provides precise results with instant calculation time.

  • PLC (Power Line Communication) is the communication method using the existing power line installed in houses and offices to convert and transmit high frequency communication signal from tens of KHz to tens of MHz, and receive the filtered signal using high frequency filter The advantage of PLC is that PLC uses the existing power line installed in houses and offices so it does not require separate power line. Easy and convenient access using electric outlets is another advantage of PLC. However, PLC has some disadvantages such as limited transmission power, high load interference and noise, variable signal attenuation, characteristic of impedance, and selective possibility of frequency property. We designed the boiler temperature control system unit by using the PLC modem. We can avoid unnecessary heating of separate temperature control unit, and save the cost accordingly control stability of the proposed system is proven through the experiment.

송.수신 격리 특성을 개선한 RFID 안테나 모듈 (RFID Antenna Module with High Isolation Characteristic between Tx and Rx)

  • In this paper, we propose an antenna module with high isolation between Tx and Rx in RFID reader module. The proposed module consists of a quadrafilar antenna and a directional coupler with a switchable dummy load to improve the directivity. The proposed module achieves the isolation higher than 20 dB between Tx and Rx. To show the validity of the proposed scheme, we have performed the measurement of tagging range and multi-tagging ability. The experiment results show that the detecting range and multi-tagging ability are enhanced by 81% and 200%, respectively.

축사 규모별 누전성분 특성 분석 (Analysis of Characteristic for Electric Leakage Component at Stable Size)

  • This paper is purposed to analyze electric leakage component which can prevent electrical fires on breaker capacity expansion and power failure by operation of ELB(Earth leakage breaker) for stable sizes. In order to analysis for electric leakage component for stable sizes, this paper studied field state investigation which are at stable companies( 10 companies) in cheong-won location to deduce the problems of electric leakage component is analyzed. The field state experiment method is measured with electric leakage component which load part of ELB detected by electric loads(electrical fan, lighting, auto waterer, feeder and halogen lighting) and stable sizes. Results show that electric leakage component suggested in this paper are valuable and usable to electrical fire in leakage current based on environment factor, which will prevent severe damage to human beings and properties and reduce the electrical fires in stable.

  • This paper is concerned on developing low-voltage high-current DC-DC converter using FB-ZVS PWM Converter. The converter output is 28V, 100A and regulated by phase-shift control method. IGBT is used by the main switching device and high frequency transformer is made for operating at 30kHz switching frequency. When the load vary widely, converter's ZVS characteristic is expressed by experiment result.

  • The high voltage driving system with multi-phase shifter including piezoelectric actuators comprised a driving power unit for outputting the driving power by converting input alternate current into direct current, a frequency shifting unit for supplying the direct current power and shifting or generating a frequency, a high-voltage amplification unit for amplifying the input signal outputted from the driving power unit and the frequency shifting unit into a high-voltage signal, and a phase shifting unit for shifting the phase difference of the amplified signal applied to the high-voltage amplification unit and driving plural piezoelectric actuators sequentially. The results that the operating voltage was stable, the voltage loss ratio was low and the response velocity was fast could be obtained. An experiment on performance of the high voltage driving system with multi-phase shifter designed and manufactured as above described was conducted by using a piezoelectric pump having 3 sheets of round unimorph piezoelectric actuators laminated respectively in a rectangular case. It sucks any fluid by causing the first piezoelectric actuator to shift from the inlet porter side, the phase delay of 60$^{\circ}$ causes the second piezoelectric actuator to begin to shift, and the phase delay of 120$^{\circ}$ causes the third piezoelectric actuator to begin to shift. As a result of measuring each change in the outlet flow rate of the piezoelectric pump, it was shown that the frequency-flow rate characteristic, the voltage-flow characteristic, and the load pressure-flow rate characteristic were improved.

전류형 고주파 공진 DC-DC 컨버터의 특성해석 (Characteristic analysis of the current type high frequency resonant DC - DC converter)

  • 본 논문은 출력전류를 증가하기 위해서 L과 C를 공진 탱크회로로 구성하는 고주파 공진을 이용한 전류형 고주파 공진 U-U 컨버터를 보여주고 있다. 이 회로구성은 L과 C를 공진 탱크회로로 구성하였고, 스위칭 양단에 커패시터를 삽입하여 공진과 ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) 커패시터로 동시에 사용하였다. 따라서, 컨버터는 턴ㆍ온, 턴ㆍ오프에서 스위칭 손실과 집음, 전압 스트레스를 줄일 수 있고, U전원 공급으로부터 리플이 적은 일정한 전류를 공급하기 위한 U 리액터는 공진 리액터와 연결되어 있기 때문에 부하 단락시 안정하게 동작하는 장점이 있다. 본 컨버터의 회로해석은 무차원화 파라미터 기법을 도입하여 행하였고, 또한 ZVS영역특성, 출력전력특성, 출력전압특성, 출력전류특성 등 여러 특성평가를 하였다. 여러 특성평가를 바탕으로 설계하였고, 실험을 통한 실험치와 이론치를 비교하여 이론해석의 정당성도 입증하였다.
